Billions of people worldwide agreed to commit suicide thinking they are going to personally experience a virtual world.Horrifying.Would you upload?
>>108508532>"luddites"you see there is google but... nah you tell me what the fuck is luddite
the reality is that you were never really conscious from the start
I enjoy the fact that people who lack a strong understanding of the algorithm vs the medium expect the world will somehow change when the exact same people are still around except digital, because they can;t even mentally engage with the premise; but I enjoy it even more because they'll be committing suicide in the long run and within 60 years they'll all be dead due to their dogmatism...That's nice to think about anyways, but in reality you faggots just lack self awareness and will "know it when you see it", so as soon as brain uploading is popular and clearly successful (ie the people are the same before and after upload) you'll suddenly have always supported brain uploading and all the arguments you scoffed at before will suddenly become meaningful. C'est la vie.

I have Bitlocker enabled on my PC (Windows 11 Pro) on four SSDs and use Windows Hello to unlock. Planned to change my mobo so I backed up all my keys and shit.Unplugged everything, took the mobo out, removed the CPU and RAM and then realized I forgot to flush the TPM before doing this.Would the TPM still have my bitlocker keys inside that could be used to unlock my data? If so would flashing a BIOS update using the flashback function clear it?I guess if I'm really concerned I could just disable and then re-enable bitlocker to change all the encryption keys but it's a pain.

As a complete noob, could someone help me learning programming with AI? I have a couple of questions below that I would love for more experienced anons to explain or try to offer guidance when it comes to learning how to learn programming in 2026 Do you think AI is a good tutor when it comes to explaining things? Should I be using AI without asking it to generate any code for me in the beginning stages, skipping the whole agentic workflows for now and only sticking with concept explanations? How would you use AI if you were to start over again? (Assuming you have used it and know the possibilities and limitations)Or do you think someone beginning to learn how to code shouldn't use any sort of AI and only relay on books or something like that? Thanks for your attention anon!
Everyone please congratulate our friends at github for finally achieving ZERO NINES of availability! I'm sure it wasn't an easy road to get there, having only billions of dollars to run their website and all, but they've finally managed to set a new benchmark for enterprise software uptime! Congratulations!

We finally have a comprehensive list of AI slop software.https://codeberg.org/small-hack/open-slopwareThoughts?
I think a list like this is alright, of course people are going to make this into a completely black & white issue and some are going to boycott everything on that list. For me it's more like it's nice to be aware of how the software I use is developed, for example I'm seriously considering switching to drew's pre-AI contribution vim fork simply because I don't really care about the new features and I'm only expecting more bugs and security issues in the main version from here on out
why do they even care? they'll have killed themselves long before ai kills them

>>108509269great resource, thanks op
I'm starting to think these freaks just hate everything that isn't dick.
They key promising to do better but all its good at is transcribing meetings and making outlook search bearable. How can you own the entire ecosystem and your own integrated tool still blows this hard and that's just inside O365 the OS layer I don't even know what we're doing.
>>108506072It seems like a discount chatgpt. I just disregard it.
>>108506072Its for companies already locked into Microsoft. Has audit data if you already have Intune or Purview. I can't remember which. So you can see prompt and responses. It also has a "work" mode that uses your tenant SharePoint and office shit as a makeshift "RAG" AI. I can only imagine how effective that can be. The places I've been were a SharePoint nightmare. So many versions and renames of files and none actually used offices built in versioning.
>>108509764I noticed it's gotten a bit better recently, it's more like chatgpt now, a worse version but still. the benefit for me is it has access to internal documents at our company so it makes searching things easieroutside of a large corporation I'm not sure there's any benefit to using it
I tried the Copilot web app a few times and I thought it was fine. It seemed roughly as good as the other stuff out there at the time. Keep in mind this was a few months ago and I'm not the biggest chat bot user.
