Don't like the cigarette lighter and ashtray placement. If you put it at the top, the heat from the lighter can easily be handled by the case fans at the top. You will however risk ash raining down on lower bays. Use the lowest bay and now you have to deal with lighter heat but ash isn't really a problem (unless is gets sucked into the case). But having it at neither ends of the stack makes it have both problems.

hazel-small-2? Is it making snow inside the room like de3 or is it intentional?

>>107535832
I believe it was a small model. Wasn't intentional.
>>
>>107536031
Really curious to see how a cheaper NBP/NB2 would perform, that hazel-small-2 seems to be a bit disappointing. Also, it seems to have become already less common on lmarena.
>Shame flowith added an extra filter.
I'm not even sure I ever used it before, but isn't it limited to 1k anyway? 4k is an overkill and it's apparently some kind of upscaling (in latent space or something), but 2k is native resolution and it's pretty much the way to go with NBP, imo.

How come no one talk about classic elitebooks here?
T420 has better keyboard and i miss the middle click button, but thinkpad plastic feels like a joke compared to elitebook aluminum
>>
>>107536359
We did, at least few years ago.
So guy was bragging about his elitebook and how he could maxx it compared to thinkpads.
I guess some of us are just too autistic to accept other.
I have 2570p and I like various aspect about it, including sane I/O port placement, better hinge, etc.
And to be honest the elitebook series is still as good as ever compared to current thinkpads.
The downside is the weight.
>>
>>107536440
I still think X220/T420 keyboard is the best desu, but everything else i think classic elitebook is better
>I have 2570p and I like various aspect about it
AFAIK 2570p has socketable CPU?
Have u tried to upgrade it to quadcore i7?
I'm curious how hot it will be
>>
>>107536440
Oh also what's the T480 of elitebook?
>>
>>107536500
I tried it, the gain in performance was nice but had very poor battery life.
Also the thermal throttling was a problem for sustained workload.
So in the end I still had the same performance of i5 with worse battery life and worse thermals, and I revert back.

I'm working on a screenplay (or "treatment", as they call it in the biz). I'm writing the outline in Python. The outline is structured like a linked list. In other words, Scene2 inherits from Scene1, Scene3 inherits from Scene 2, etc.

A few questions

>This is actually structured like a linked list, right? Idk my DSA is super rusty
>Any ideas for how to improve it?

One last thing, the final script will be written in Ruby. When I was manic, I came up with a neat lil trick to turn any English sentence into working Ruby code. Does the code do anything? Well.....no, not really. But you can run the code without getting any errors.

What do you mean? Just a normal laptop keyboard.

They were the dominant business laptop brand for a long time with the best feature set of any of the competition, and since they were the most abundant, they went for the cheapest after recycling auctions dumped them on ebay.

At their peak you could get a T420 for like $200 and it would be an objectively better laptop than anything new of a similar caliber because mobile processors kinda stagnated for a while there. A mobile broadwell i5 wasnt that much better than a sandy bridge one in practice.

Less of a thing now, modern ryzen apus made even shit tier consumer laptops pretty functionally capable and modern thinkpads dont really differentiate themselves from the other business laptop competition that much.
But for a solid while there it was thinkpad or nothin
