"UDNA" is just CDNA merging changes from RDNA by the way
it is gfx12 but with two CU bundled together and a new cache structure
CDNA will continue to have HPC and matmul variants.
then retarded gamers will be surprised that somehow AMD made their gaymer chips good at upscaling when all they did was add a 2 big matmul blocks per shader array instead of one
>>
>>106486670
they knew it from the beginning, the rx 5700 xt is a regression, they sacrificed peak performance for ease of use, vega II is more performant than rdna 1 in basically every task when optimization is performed, the only thing that they really resolved with rdna was the bandwidth efficiency, but they ended up using a huge l3 cache anyway making the cu and cache changes redundant imo.
>>
>>106488270
Are you trying to say that AMD rigged the game against themselves on purpose? Was the Raja hate justified?
>>
Sorry Jensen, I have a 9070XT I got launch day at MSRP, it's been great and I still wont be buying nVidia.
>>
>>106488289
they made a mistake, raja is probably the cause, nvidia invested heavily in compute/ai which extends to to their consumer products, vega and earlier gcn products follow the same path. rdna's design focuses on traditional gpu rendering, less on peak compute, the thinking was that they would do better with specialized architectures for both markets (cdna for compute/ai , rdna for consumer graphics) , but in practice they basically kneecapped themselves on the consumer side
nvidia used their compute for technologies like dlss, framegen and denoising for rt, all of which require more compute than rdna 1 and 2 can offer, rdna 3 brings some of the capability back and rdna 4 expands on it, but if you look back at vega II amd already had quad-rate int8 in a consumer graphic chip, which offers a big speed up for AI workloads, so essentially the reason amd has not been able to release an ai based upscaler and lagged behind with rt until now is likely because of the move to rdna. . IMO there is a good chance that udna will be based mostly on CDNA(gcn/gfx9) rather than rdna for this reason,

Pros:
>Strong sandboxing/isolation improves security.
>Widely supported across major distros (especially Fedora, GNOME-based distros).
>Uses Portals apps can request access to files, devices, etc. in a controlled way.
>Good integration with desktop environments.
>Flathub is a central, well-maintained app store with lots of apps.
>Auto-updates supported.

Cons:
>Flatseal has the potential to change the permissions of other flatpaks at will. Essentially, a flatpak with the ability to change the permissions of other flatpaks. It is rendered to be "Potentially Unsafe" with "Arbitrary Permissions" with access to "User Data" subfolder flatpak/overrides, Can read and write all data in the directory" and "Arbitrary Permissions, Can acquire arbitrary permissions".
>Larger disk space usage (apps bundle runtimes + libraries).
>Slower startup compared to native apps (sandbox overhead).
>Strong desktop focus not ideal for CLI/server software.
>Relies heavily on Flathub (centralization concern).

Flatpak doesn't have good enough sandboxing. For example it doesn't clear graphics buffers when allocating graphics memory when it has been freed by another program. This allows you to get the frame of other applications or the screen. You can even get the frame that was used by windows if you dual boot and reboot.
Almost all major flatpaks, the ones that are the most popular need user home directory read/write access, which allows them to install LD PRELOAD malware to inject malware into all of your applications, and it can even be used to overwrite sudo to install malware to your root user and run it as root.

FAQ:
>How do I activate Windows?
HWID2 generates and registers a permanent legitimate license on MS's activation servers
github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts
Usage: paste this into Powershell, run.
irm https://get.activated.win | iex

>and Office?
Same link, select Ohook option
You can also use Office.com if your needs are very minimal
or try OnlyOffice/LibreOffice and set it to save in MSOffice file formats

How much is it possible to de-cancer Win11? Been having issues with my ancient 10 install and considering I'm going to do a clean reinstall anyway I figure I might as well go to 11
I don't need a perfect privacy machine I just don't want to be bombarded in advertisements or have to completely relearn my muscle memory for file explorer etc
>>
>>106488438
>Use 11 Enterprise or IoT LTSC 2024
>Install it offline and make a local account
>Run ShutUp10's recommended settings on it and disable Defender's cloud protection and auto sample submission then restart before connecting
>Let Windows Update do its thing
>Activate with MAS's HWID module
Best you can do.

does this make sense as a way to uniquely identify objects and create them on demand? I want to have this 'registerDerived' option because I want to have a set of default objects pre-registered and then let additional ones be created and registered, all at compile time but I can't figure out how to do this registering at compile time so it's runtime

the map & reverse map at the end are just so a list of identifiers can be displayed and then fed back in to create the correct object
struct Base {
virtual ~Base() = default;

struct A : Base {
static std::unique_ptr<Base> create() {
return std::make_unique<A>();
