Is there no fucking way to prevent AI spam shitting up my website other than giving in to a botnet like cloudflare?
>verify email
Mails get filtered unless you are well known
>verify phone number
Too expensive
>rate limit IP
Niggers use shared IPs
>create own captcha
Cracked within seconds
>block India and Israel
They just use VPN

What is the freetard approach to this?

why are so many programming "help" groups like this? like, somebody will specifically opt into helping people, and then get frustrated when they dont do exactly what they expect. it constantly feels like im testing everyone's patience whenever i ask for help and its even harder trying to just learn everything myself, especially considering all the weird semantic differences in both the language itself and guides.

like i can imagine a full script in my head but i wouldnt know how to translate it into the language im currently using. and on the offchance that i *do* get the help needed, usually its just "oh just use the blah function", so its not like i just Dont Know How To Code or anything i just dont know the shit thats specific to the engine, and its not like i can just look it up in a glossary or something because the words can be totally different from language to language, like how "object" in one language can be "entity" in another, and object in *that* language refers to an object in an array or something, so theres just a huge language gap that i cant really cross without the help of others, which sucks because working with others sucks

Instead of asking "how to do X" know-nothing retards will ask "how to do X by doing Y?" where Y is usually a difficult, error-prone, flawed and otherwise subpar way to do X - something you can't actually explain to them without huge effort, because the knowledge they lack to do X without help is the same knowledge needed to know why Y is a bad idea. Such retards also tend to be extremely insistent that you have to spoonfeed them not just about how to do X, but how to do X in their retarded way. Bullying them until they leave is the objectively correct approach.

I was about to get a tablet, then I thought it's useless, my flagship smartphone has way more power.

What am I going to do with a tablet? Have a slightly bigger screen?

I can use the Android Desktop mode(or Samsung's), a terminal emulator, and I can run a Desktop Environment and everything.

What do you think? One is a portable monitor with a battery and a wireless display, the other ones are glasses that supposedly give you a 4k screen. Has anyone tried the glasses? Do you have advice and recommendations, with prices too? Regards.

RAID 1 for redundancy, RAID 0 for speed.

forget that anything else exists.

unless you have a properly remote-managed raid storrage solutions with proper labeling, you will just destroy your RAID 5 or 6 on accident

How do you fuck up your RAID 5/6?
Also the main problem with RAID 5 is that it's basically a mathematical certainty that another disk will have an URE during rebuild and nuke your data if your array is big enough.

Not necessarily. Linus Torvalds gave away Linux for free but he's still had a great career and I think he is financially pretty comfortable. I think Red Hat gave him some stock in their company, and I assume his Linux Foundation salary is probably not too bad.

You could say him and Tim Berners-Lee could have been richer, but I guess they wanted to focus on computer problems rather than business decisions.

>>107654355
There has been splintering in the last few years (Twitter was turned into X, and some people didn't like the new X, which is why we saw the growth of Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon). You can't blame that on the web as a platform though.
