It's human slop to put it simply. Their solution to every problem was duck tape. It works once but over the years it builds up, creating what we call unpaid technical debt.

Imagine building a house with a ducktaped swiss knife.

The g703, and it isn't even close. Ambidextrous mice are gay. It is shaped for the correct hand, it is lightweight, it has a good sensor, it has a good battery life, and despite it being high quality it is inexpensive.

Is it safe to admit that Deepseek, MiniMax and Qwen are the actually good AI models yet? Or are we still going to pretend that ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Claude count as "good" AI?

Deepseek is pretty good but not the best anymore.
Qwen is the best small model (30b-a3b).
But I think GLM-4.7 is the best overall model now. It came up with a solution to a coding problem which was significantly better than what Deepseek or GPT-5 came up with.
Who knows, maybe Deepseek will release v4 and btfo everyone else, but it hasn't happened yet.

i've had the opportunity to use one. i really thought i would hate it. i went into it fully expecting to. as much as it pains me to admit it, they're actually really fucking cool. they're basically like an ipad mini when totally unfolded. good for watching videos or reading text. and it's still more or less usable as a normal phone when totally folded. the 2/3 fold is a meme use case that can basically be ignored

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

Vertical video is the norm now. All video is vertical now. People actively wish horizontal videos were vertical. They yearn for vertical video even when they're not circumstantially limited to it. A kid asked me to hold his phone and film him doing a trick at a skate park last week and when I held it in landscape mode he stopped me, took the phone, changed it to portrait and continued. Ten years ago vertical video was considered digital AIDS. It was to be avoided at all cost. Now it's the golden standard.

Exactly my point. Likewise if you have an underlying representation of voxels, and you render them in a world using triangles, they don't stop being voxels.

how do I make jellyfin's android auto music feature not shit?
the android auto app doesn't have the favourite/like icon in the player UI, so when I stick the whole category on shuffle it becomes much harder to sort what I liked onto playlists later.
The startup time and navigation to the music category takes ages.
Bluetooth audio in the car never works unless the app has been focused recently. No it's not a power saving mode issue. VLC pretty much auto-plays whatever it loaded last even if I last used it months ago.
Sometimes it refuses to shuffle-play an album due to a data error, but if I select the first song in an album, then toggle shuffle mode on, it works fine.
When do I just swap to a whole different app?

You should close browser tabs when you're done with them. If you want to quickly get back to where you were, there is a separate technology for that: bookmarks.

I think the real problem is browsers don't streamline bookmarks like they do with tabs.

>close browser
>automatically bookmark all your tabs into folders sorted neatly from last visited tab
>open browser
>reopen bookmarks into tab from last session

I don't know, just seems silly how the end game for tabs was to copy what boomarks had already done for the past 20+ years. Meanwhile with bookmarks, you could always organize them into folders, tag them, rename, drag and drop, and even back them up far better and easier than tabs or at least back in the old days. I remember one wrong crash back then and your tabs were fucked(Probably still the same today).
