I think the effects of it need to be studied more and with studies not sponsored by telecom companies. That said, I still use 4G myself, but I wouldn't want to live in one of the apartments situated right under a mast.

Ionizing radiation: penetrates your body and breaks bonds and electrons off atoms, changing chemical structure of molecules randomly inside your body
Non ionizing radiation - doesnt do that. It just passes through your body

Vertical video is the norm now. All video is vertical now. People actively wish horizontal videos were vertical. They yearn for vertical video even when they're not circumstantially limited to it. A kid asked me to hold his phone and film him doing a trick at a skate park last week and when I held it in landscape mode he stopped me, took the phone, changed it to portrait and continued. Ten years ago vertical video was considered digital AIDS. It was to be avoided at all cost. Now it's the golden standard.

What is the point of VPN?

Yes, you hide your IP address but you can't hide the fact that you are hiding your IP address because your new VPN IP address is already known as a datacenter IP address and you'll get automatically treated as a bot everywhere.

Also, using a VPN requires you to install that VPN company's client software on your PC which can be considered as a privacy problem on its own.

I can't help but feel 99% of the people that DO use them are sad sacks trying to grift onn youtube and think they need to overedit video in 4K because somehow they will get likes and subscibes if people can see their zits more easily and becaus ethey are retarded and are basically tech illiterates they just buy thing that is expensive becaus eother retards on youtube said so.

I fucking hate IT work now but I actually had a recuiter call me last week truing to hardsell me some cunty contract and you know what it was? Some 1000+ staffed company that wanted to get rid of office 365 and go back to office 2010 via RDS becaus etheir CEO had thrown a rage fit and fired their admin because all their excel and SQL garbage had stopped working again.

Its not just the consumer end that is fucking pointless in the last decade you know.

Hi /g/ I'm looking to rip my saved songs and playlists from Spotify. I've had a premium acct for a couple of years now but I'd like to download them for personal use so I don't need the acct anymore. Yet, for all my searching I just keep finding sketchy third party applications, usually ones that require a premium acct themselves.

Do y'all have any suggestions on how I can download music (that I've paid for with my years of Premium) so I can listen to them whenever I want without the Spotify app? If nothing else I could cross reference them on Youtube and use a shitty youtube to mp3 website, but I'd like something a bit less involved if such a thing exists.

Deemix will parse Spotify playlists and download matches from Deezer's catalog. Without a premium Deezer account, you'll be limited to 128kbps quality.
In the past I just got a 1 month free trial. You'll need to provide a credit card tho.

If you're on a pc my best suggestion is using something like spotdl:
https://github.com/spotDL/spotify-downloader

Used it semi-recently, was able to scrape about 4k songs that I had saved/liked.

took a while but audio quality was good/serviceable for what I wanted.

MX Blaecks
>>
>>107857951
Nothing MX is going to perfectly replicate buckling springs; I think MX blues come somewhat close but they're noisy.

There are "silenced" clickies like Gateron Lanes and Kailh Box Mute Jades, but these are still as loud as a normal switch, too loud for most offices.

Some keyboards might be quiet enough that these would be ok. My Brutal V2 1800 is many dbs quieter than my top mount Typface Monospace, both foamless with mx browns. And some people have tried drilling holes in the bottom of switches to replicate the silencing technique of the Haimu heartbeat. So here's my idea:

You get Gateron Lanes. You drill two small holes in the bottom of each switch to reduce the bottom-out loudness. You get a very quiet board like e.g. the Flatbrains Plaket XL, and build it with these sort of silenced clickies.

Yeah that's copied from old marketing material.
You can check out the whole chart that the crop in the post is taken from, as stated, we're way past TB4 compatibility with USB4 and on par with TB5.

I have a TB4 certified controller with PCIe gen 4 on my X870 board, not even a X870E board.

Indicator LED are being used well within spec and have very little strain on them.
LED bulbs are being grilled alive, pushed as hard as possible because the manufacturer is cheaping out and using as few as possible.
There actually are long lasting LED lights, most notably in Dubai where the leaders strongarmed manufacturers into making them more energy efficient. Pic related, see how many LED strips are in them compared to the usual 2 to 4 from elsewhere.
>>
>>107855589
Because the light bulb has multiple failure modes that are each more likely than the RJ45 jack LED failing. The power supply can fail. More importantly, many inexpensive bulbs use fewer LEDs and drive them harder rather than using more LEDs and driving them less hard. This makes them less efficient, which generates more heat. This heat then decreases the lifespan of both the LEDs and the power supply.

It's not overdriven and it never gets hot.
One of the big problems with LED bulbs is precisely that they are bulbs, the legacy form factor is unsuited for the technology.
You should upgrade your lamps if possible - new ceiling lamps for LEDs have an opening above the bulb for ventilation.
