THE CREATOR OF LINUX ADMITTED TO VIBE-CODING
>>107834629You're retarded and didn't even process my reasoning.
This is just for some shit involving a guitar pedal?
>>107832926there are situations where you should feel guilty.if you use AI to write that shit, that you then proceed to understand/tweak/correct and it works just fine for your application, no reasons to be ashamed of.if you instead have no fucking clue what's happening, and AI is doing something that works, you should feel ashamed of yourself. for failing to completely understand everythingnot having a fucking clue what the fuck is happening is dangerous, code coming from this direction can completely fuck shit up, since you have no fucking clue what's going on, and "it seems" to be working. until it doesn't, in which moment you realize how fucking retarded you are.
>>107833189um I think I'm a gaymer now...
>>107834067I'll take you as being genuine. What your reasoning is missing is that these AI tools are getting better very suddenly. >Shit>Shit>Shit>Shit>Bad>Decent All the narrative and experiments were produced on previous tools. The sentiments around AI were built based on tools a year or older. That's why there's such a big difference in what some people claim vs what experiments show and what people's general opinion is. If you haven't tried them, go download Cursor and just try using it and build a simple project with it. Something you might want to use yourself.

>>107839525She already is.
Every idea I have has been done 5 times now. It doesn't help my only ideas are types of social media, and I'm ready to just give up because no one gives a fuck.Seriously though, is there any point in trying to become successful? I could just build stuff that makes me happy and I can feel proud of, instead of caring what others think and stress myself out with users.
>>107838014Is your idea to make some big multi million user application? Well of course it's going to be done to death. Big corpos have a monopoly on that sort of thing. Return to tradition with the old internet way of doing things, just make websites for things you like and for small communities you want to cultivate. Fuck mass appeal.
>>107838549I don't try to compete with big social media, but even a niche community is a PIA to moderate. Being a janny is a huge toll on mental health and anything I build must either be zero moderation effort or have an extremely high entry barrier to post. I already have some ideas but it's just so demotivating knowing a functional site won't get me a job/secure a good future because literally nobody gives a fuck! HR karens don't care what I learned and what I'm capable of
>>107838014If you want users, you'll have to target the audience of short form content. Under 1 minute, and jumping from one video to the next, minimal permanence with nothing being memorable, but the majority love it, so that seems to be the future. But if you don't want to moderate, then it'd be best to sell the tools and services of an opportunity, rather than deal with that headache yourself, assuming then that there are enough people with a vision out there to know what to do with your software tools.Regardless, finding success alone is near impossible, and working together with someone is a must.
>>107838169>degeneracyNah you just have bad taste.
>>107838808This sounds like a design problem more than anything When creating a community how exactly you structure it and design the environment people can interact with it is a big factor. Some communities basically run themselves, on the other hand an anonymous basket weaving forum such as this requires moderation because the format and culture allows and encourages people to do anything. Something like a niche fishing forum probably requires very little moderation because it doesn't attract the types of people who need to be moderated. Social media itself is a dead end, at least at scale, because there's no way to control who is going to be there

I would rather work some wagie $15 an hour job and torture myself constantly as a reminder that I am a failure and that I should be working towards a fagman job instead of getting some comfy bullshit do nothing job at a mid sized company earning 80k a year.

What cybersecurity service would many people pay for, or what service would a small number of wealthy people pay for?
>>107835654>you could have said that from the start. If you don't even know that, you are not going to create anything worth shit, bozo. Anyonr with even vague understanding of the topic do not need that spelled out for them. Didn't even bother reading the rest, you are a retard.
>>107834430i'd call you a parasite, but i genuinely revel in your complete inability to find sustenancethanks for posting, my day is now better, and i'm not usually someone that finds joy in negativity
>>107834430It's not cybersecurity per se, but you would definitely require a lot of it for this service. Along with abandoning all human morals. GTA3 had the parody of "babiesovernight dot com! Babies in a box, direct to your front door" and it was supposed to be for adoption. But now we know a not-insignificant number of millionaires and billionaires would be interested in that as a subscription model for their sexual and/or culinary desires. So there's your app idea.
>>107835654nta and I hate the permanegative culture on this site but damn man you need a reality check in the worst way>Original ideas often fail...Right, so you admit that you didn't even need a great or imaginative idea, but you still want to outsource it? Why even post the question just ask Grok>you could have said that from the startIf you didn't even know that, how can you possibly expect to get anywhere? You have ZERO business sense>if you don't want to spoonfeed...So now you admit you want to be spoonfed, and here's the grand irony anon - you then say that anon is like a child. SPOONFEEDING IS LITERALLY FOR CHILDREN. Then you decide to continue insulting the only anon trying to help.Time for the reality check anon - there are 100 million jeets right now asking AI questions like yours, getting project ideas, and vibe-coding them all into existence. They will work harder than you, longer than you, and most probably understand the tech sector better than you (given you seem to understand almost nothing). So do yourself a favour - admit to yourself you're only pursuing this path because you're too lazy to seek out work that means leaving the comfort of your chair, lack the charisma for grifting and lack the imagination to think of anything else. Embrace that truth and take decisive action - either commit to being a better worker and get out of your comfort zone into the real world (maybe trades) OR accept your worthlessness and settle for a life of unfulfilling mediocrity as a permaNEET.but either way get the hell off this board, you don't belong here.

If you want a tablet and also want to draw, should you get an iPad or a Samsung tablet?
the standard is pretty much the ipad (pro) with the pencil followed by those dedicated portables like wacom movink or the chinese knockoffs from huion/xp pen etc, buy ones from last year to now only, older ones are badthen samshit tablets with s-pen, mostly because lagdroid lolavoid any microshit surface, garbage devices for this purpose and bad devices overall

Why can't you find any good MP3 players today? I hate having to use my phone (which doesn't even have an audio jack) to listen to music.

>>107838770an audiophile-/x/ schizo mix, a most potent autism combination, anyways take your meds
>>107828651There's a lot of options, depends on what you're looking for. The cheapest and smallest you can get with alright sound quality are those generic S1 MP3 players that were everywhere 15-20 years ago. Still sold new on Ebay with expandable memory slots. I have an older revision with only 128MB onboard which I still use. Just get rechargeable NIMH AAA cells and you're good. Or get a Walkman. For audiophile autism there are even more options with bizarre sounding names. The newer ones are all as big as smartphones and run lobotomized android, but if you look around you can find older, more sensibly sized models. FIIO X1 is a nice looking one.

Good. Yank dominance in tech needs a challenger for the consumer's sake.Let American tech go the way of their car industry for all I care. Sheltered and stagnant with no hope of competing outside of their borders.

This simple idea of having 2 USB-C ports CANNOT be done because it stops the zoomer from buying wireless ear buds(battery inside will always go to shit and unusable in ~3 years)and you would be stuck using extremely affordable, high quality audio headphones or in ear buds(that are a bit too green for the planet in 2026) also the 3.5mm headphone jack looks like a penis that goes inside a hole and basically why aren't you a wireless, constantly charging gay trans in 2026 right now.am i finally getting it /g?

>>107830975Older English literature used the em dash a lot more than now but still somewhat sparingly. You can write very effective sentences with it which no other punctuation can fill in. I think pre 1990s high schoolers actually learned how to use it. Now few learn it so they never use it. I actually see people use ellipses more when an em dash was what should have been used, because public education never gets around to finer points of grammar
