can you watch your own videos on this or do apple force you to consoom slop from their apple store only?
>>
>>107741246
What the fuck are you even talking about, holodeck isn't even called virtual reality in the show. Virtual reality has been around IRL since the 90s and to everyone it means the same thing, a helmet on your head and hand tracking on your hands.

The fact that 99% of 3D movie catalogue is not available in any home format whatsoever is mind boggling to me. There's like 50 movies in total you can watch in 3D on a headset

Going to be honest, for laptop chargers, USBC is shit in comparison to the old fat HP barrel chargers or the old Lenovo square chargers. I am 100% convinced that every laptop moving to USBC was done for a less reliable, easier to break, harder to replace connector. For phones and peripherals such as game controllers, chargers for wireless headphones, things like that, I'm all for it. Fuck micro USB, but I don't like replacing USBA for desktop peripherals.
>>
>>107742025
To me USB-C charging was a hard requirement to get a laptop. I was fucking fed with retarded brand specific chargers that ended up cracking the chassis with how much force they required to plug and and unplug (though this is around 7 years of use). I essentially use it like a desktop where I occasionally move the thing, always plugged. And If it's gonna break, I've forgot unplugging or dropped, I'd much rather have the charger end break than tug the MoBo and chassis with all its might. Also I recently found out that both charging USBC port and thunderbolt port has charging, so I even have a spare one. Being able to swap phone and laptop charger is a plus too.

There is no such thing has hold or review. There is legitimate reason and concerns of the game’s development. Monster Hunter game is noob level babysitting. FF7 Remake ruin the story with filter alternatives and changes to the original lore. Street Fighter V has micro transactions and P2W characters. Shut up anon, you’re not a gamer if you don’t see the problem with Valve holding legitimate reviews hostage.

X is a protocol, not a specific implementation like X.org is.
>>

The protocol derives from the implementation, not the other way around. It wouldn't be meaningful to talk about "correctness", X *is what it is*.

I just know when D-Bus gets deprecated you faggots are going to sing its praises.

you already know that for years now, big tech has been paying shills to shit-talk Linux and other FOSS projects
and with all the AI progress, most of the shilling is not done manually any more, it is mostly automated bots

so why not fight fire with fire?
why don't we set up something that scans internet for relevant discussions and automatically makes posts that promote Linux and digital freedom?

>shill for FOSS
you need to be so subtle about it because shills attract gullible troons. in the end, it will be better to keep things under wraps. I often stop myself from posting my software ideas because someone will steal the abstract, you should only post concrete solutions and study for those who need it. shilling attracts too many problems nowadays. in the beginning it was kinda needed but stallman's quotations are so neolib it's attracted jews and fags to ruin software with their incumbency and salary begging.

If you ever had to manage legacy software on these OS you'd understand why no one gives a fuck about them and are happy they are going away. The only one worth caring about is AIX since Power is actually relevant still among other IO configurations IBM is capable of. Not to mention their mainframe lineup. Still a pain in the ass to manage though.

Itanium is a name I haven’t heard in two decades. I’m so fucking surprised that a UNIX OS running on Itanium was supported all the way until 2025
>>
It was fun to use, not as obnoxious as AIX, but hardware progress was stalled. Since Solaris on x86 is a bit hit or miss, we still have OpenBSD and OmniOS as sane choices for anything server related, while macOS fills the workstation usecase. The poorjeets in this thread can keep crying over not being able to run their gayfetch and twm curry configs on UNIX while watching youtube slop in 4k.

1 & 2 for all files or 2 seperate proj if you merge or whatever. 3rd for Teams/Teamviewer/Youtube.

2 is absolute min, doing anything frontend without a dedicated screen for the builder or its tools is simply cruel. 3 is luxury but I wouldnt want to miss it. Comes in clutch often enough.
