Should I buy an RTX 5070 or an RTX 5070 TI? One is The RTX 5070 is a 750 plus tax in my country, while the 5070 TI is 1100 dollars (plus tax). I read just now that NVidia is going to raise their prices and I get the feeling that if I buy the 5070, I'll end up needing to buy the 5070 TI in 2026 which at that point - it might be way too fucking expensive. On the other hand, the thought of buying a GPU for one grand right now feels extremely painful. That's 1/4th of my monthly paycheck.
Trying to port this old game to PC, but I'm stumped. Friend says I should use 5.1 GPT but I've had a few troubles with it in the past. Out of my depth here, could someone lend me a hand?

I am regularly amazed that we pretend folders are the right way to organise files. They’re entirely arbitrary. Every competent file system ignores them to its best ability. Why can’t I have a file in two folders? Why does one have to be a “reference”? Why can’t I filter for files that exist in 3 folders with X extension?We’ve been played for absolute fools.

You can use a script to install it so you don't have to follow all that stuff online but people apparently get angry about that, like literally just plug the usb in an type "archinstall" and then pick what you want. I was on gnome but just recently swapped to xfce because Wayland is a bit shit for Nvidia. I am still learning but all my stuff works on arch even my mic interface which usually never did and my soundcard and I can still play all my games with my mates it's pretty chill. Uses like 1 GB or less of ram on idle and use gamemode to optimise.
