>>108502105>>108502118it could be a firmware bug that only affects 11. bios update might be worth a shot at this point.
>>108502272I'm currently running version 3.00.>https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOSIt looks like the most recent version that supports the PC's Ryzen 7 1800X (Summit Ridge) might be 5.90. Which is only two years newer, but better than nothing.Although, I notice that while versions 6.xx specifically recommend against Summit Ridge, versions 7.00 and later do not mention Summit Ridge in any capacity, nor do they have the provision that some versions do to read the description of the previous versions. Does this mean version 7.00+ DOES support Summit Ridge?Version 7.20 supports Renoir, Vermeer, and Cezanne, all of which are newer than Summit Ridge, but Summit Ridge isn't explicitly mentioned in any capacity except for the recommendations against it in versions 6.xx.>if I fuck this up, the PC is crippledI hate this shit.
>>108502711try 5.90 since that seems to definitely have full support. blame asrock for being a budget taiwanese company with poor english docs.
>>108502711also make sure to read the instructions, it looks like there are some intermediary bioses you need to update
>>108502711>>108502777make sure to update to 3.4, then 5.5, then 5.9

My EPZ Q1 pro keep breaking. I want something with a similar form factor/ sound signature but with reliable build quality. >BudgetPrefer less than 75 usd (without tariffs). Any more than that I pay a tax but I can afford more expensive options. >Intended useListening to music on walks, sometimes white noise when sleeping. >Frequency response preference and music examplesI like the EPZ Q1 pro so I guess a Harmon sound signature is good but I'm not that anal about that, like a bit more bass or mid wouldn't hurt. I like Beach House, artsy techno (Andy stott) shoegaze, post punk etc>Past gear and your thoughts on themI liked the EPZ a lot more than the Cadenza and truthear gate in terms of sound but especially in terms of form factor.>Other stuffI have very narrow ear canals and small ears so anything too big is a no (I already have custom tops that fit me). Also if it comes with (or you have a recommendation for) a high quality thin cable that would be nice.

I'm so fucking sick of this shit. It's everywhere now. I was assigned a project to implement an AI chatbot into our company software so the geriatric boomers that don't even know how to email will have an assistant tool that they'll never use

3 years now I've owned a Varmilo VA Series V2 Koi Bluetooth and I love it.I thought I'd hate having a wireless keyboard but this battery only needs charged once a year, I'm not exaggerating. Latency is imperceptible. Silent Cherry keys, it feels soooo good and doesn't CLICK-CLACK like other mechanicals.I don't know where this keyboard ranks for any of you but it's always been reliable for me.

This year's Debian Project Leadership election has only ONE candidate and it's a Pajeeta (Sruthi Chandran):>She is inactive on the mailing lists, and her Salsa profile is private so we can't even see what her coding contributions are.>She's run for DPL 4 times before; lost each time>Her entire platform is just about diversity and bitching about cis males>She intends to formally incorporate Debian in the US, which would force Debian to introduce age verificationHer only claim to fame is organizing DebConf23, an event where a Debian developer literally fucking DIED because basic health & safety measures were not followed.A much more qualified candidate was hospitalized during the nomination window and couldn't apply in time, yet she has refused to reopen nominations.Debian is FUCKED unless the Debian developers all vote NOTA (None of the above).
