If you include the standard I/O library, C is Turing complete.

However, freestanding C without the standard library is only PDA-complete.

This is not a drill, it's finally confirmed that China has a working EUV prototype since early 2025, it's just undergoing testing and verification right now, expected to enter large scale production by 2028-2030.

>In a high-security Shenzhen laboratory, Chinese scientists have built what Washington has spent years trying to prevent: a prototype of a machine capable of producing the cutting-edge semiconductor chips that power artificial intelligence, smartphones and weapons central to Western military dominance, Reuters has learned. Completed in early 2025 and now undergoing testing, the prototype fills nearly an entire factory floor.

>The availability of parts from older ASML machines on secondary markets has allowed China to build a domestic prototype, with the government setting a goal of producing working chips on the prototype by 2028, according to the two people. But those close to the project say a more realistic target is 2030, which is still years earlier than the decade that analysts believed it would take China to match the West on chips.

>The breakthrough marks the culmination of a six-year government initiative to achieve semiconductor self-sufficiency, one of President Xi Jinping's highest priorities. While China's semiconductor goals have been public, the Shenzhen EUV project has been conducted in secret, according to the people.

Good
Which materials do you use, and what mirror rates do you use? What NM do you pick for the photons, since that is going to go trough so many mirrors and focusing that there is no sensible way to math it out?
What about all the quantum effect bullshit? Because even if your math is correct, it could turn out it doesn't work due a quantum effect. The wafer might not even work, but it could work on a different set of material combinations.

>>107595279
Because at this point EUV isn't one company
Its a supply chain. If ASML stops existing tomorrow, the machine and the rest of the supply chain is still there, but its missing a link, and the question will remain if reverse engineering is even possible without using a decade or two.

The same is true if any of ASMLs suppliers stop existing.
>>
>>107585887
Sort of. This is technology developed and licensed by the US Department of Energy.
>but muh patents expired
Still doesn't matter because of the original CRADA agreement with the original EUV consortium.

>>107597739
Ctrl+c doesn't terminate the server unless you're inside a running program which can be cancelled by Ctrl+c. Then you're just back in the terminal. But you probably wouldn't be typing anything anyway if it's a program printing new lines all the time. If you're changing config files then you can use Micro which uses familiar keybinds for copy and paste (and other stuff). All the running programs that need to stay open should probably use screen or tmux or something, or be Systemd services. They shouldn't be thrown at your face when you connect to that server.
>>

Everyone who uses the terminal knows that ctrl-c sends SIGINT to the current job.

>/g/ makes a 19th album
Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

Oversampling (and subsequent mandatory low pass) is to mitigate aliasing, which to my knowledge, is due in digital domain to anything nonlinear at audio rate (distortion, overdrive, waveshaping), FM or playing samples at higher pitches. Audio interfaces should have a low pass to cut anything that could alias but I don't know if that's always the case. What to I miss?

/tmp should be tmpfs, which is mapped to ram.
Also when I run rm /tmp/* I can see the amount of memory being used go down. So in my case it is.

temp is the cache folder. its a good idea to delete it once in a while but deleting in constantly means it has to rebuild it constantly and that can make things sluggish.

there is no one single "rust community".
the image of a central single "rust community" that somehow encompasses everyone who wants to develop in rust, and that is at the same time mutt-pol-tardedly "radioactive"/"cult-ish"/"overzealous"/"woke"/"troon-ish"/bla bla bla, is required for zoggie reasons.
