It's about maps being too complex to create without a team. And if you have to spend a lot of time just for a map, it's more reasonable to make your own game. After the legal drama of og dota vs blizzard vs steams dota2, nobody competent wants to do work for free.
And then it's obvious that esports killed gaming for fun outside of the hyper casual "comfy games" and normie aaa interactive movies.
>>
>>107598169
>It's about maps being too complex to create without a team
This is a very good point actually, everything takes more work when it comes to graphic design. On the other hand, coding is easier today than ever.

>nobody competent wants to do work for free
Good point again, in fact this is just not in gaming but in internet in general like zoomers don't even know what the older generations feel nostalgia for, the early internet era where people just did shit for fun and not for profit.
That nobody was "building their brand" or "getting that paper" people were just making things they thought were cool, and there were no "youtubers" doing it as a career but just people posting videos for fun.
When internet entered its turbocapitalism era all of that does seem so far away now and indeed the new generations that would make these things, as often the projects would be started by people in their teens that have a lot of time yet not much responsibilities, well today's teens are looking into their "influencer career" or "flipping those cryptos" instead.

That being said even though I hate the world today, I can't exactly blame the kids either, all they've seen is this hyper-commercialized version of internet and they just go with it, not to mention that during the early internet era of 90s-early 00s, the economic future of the West still looked solid and people had very different attitude about life overall like people didnt worry too much about "making that paper" they didnt think that if they did some "free work" now they wouldnt be able to afford a house in the future that every single waking second must be monetized just to survive

It's simple, we kill ALL Indian Hindu rape rats, including their ugly inbred babies. Until based chads start googling "Hindu temples near me" and doing what must be done to save human civilization, we are going to see country after country fall to the Hindu rape rats.

>2 billion - Indian Hindu rape rats living in India
>25 million - new inbred, ugly little cockroaches (65% male) are shat out every year, 3 times China's breeding rate
>50 million - Indian Hindu rape rats have already migrated out of India permanently (next biggest diaspora are Mexicans at a distant 10 million)

>10 million - Indian Hindu rape rats leaving India each year (2025 migration rate)
>250 MILLION - number of Hindu male rape rats the Indian government is trying to send out into the world permanently, mostly targeting the west and rich countries - by 2050

>10 million - new jobs per year are needed to keep India's unemployment rate stable
>50,000 - the number of jobs India actually creates each year
>100,000 - the number of Hindu rape rats born every single day in India (65% males)
>1 - the rank of the Indian Hindu rape rats as migrant invaders, all over the world; And their rank for breeding rate, population size, and inbreeding; And their rank for child rape, child marriage, incest, gang rape, animal rape, rape rape:

Its a regular one, can't really afford the touch, but from my experience with mobile tablet, touch activate too much when I have my palm on it, but if you are one of those real ones that draws having your palm off the screen then you'll have a good time.

I had a 16 for a long time, and its kind of touch and go (I had the issue where it'll periodically lose signal) but now pro-pen 3 just feel more reliable in general. They finally have a sensible output, but its idiotic for them to use mini-HDMI ports but not include the cable in the box. This particular model will require at least two cable coming out of it if you have Thunderbolt. It needs 100 watts of power so it have a separate power cable and thunderbolt for monitor and data.

Since I have a typical AM4 built, I still need to use a hdmi to mini-hdmi cable, but not having the whole "3-in-1" cable they used to use makes cable management a lot better because power had to go a different area.
Its big and really heavy, like 11lbs, so really locks down what type of desk arrangement you can have

however, its size is a real luxury because you can actually include color management and additional navigation elements on the screen along side typical tool palettes. Although I'll be honest I don't use as much of its real-estate to draw as I had hope, so I think a 16 might be a more practical size. I think Movink is smaller than that, but its a real one-cable experience if you have thunderbolt.

in summery;

1. its big, heavy, size is luxurious but more than I needed,
2. require mini-hdmi cable purchase separately if you don't have thunderbolt.
3. good color and resolution, but only 60 hertz

>>107594678
It is very slow, and feh/sxiv/similar will load much faster, however loading whole directories into mpv is convenient. Using a wrapper for mpv that takes a filename as an argument and passes it to mpv --pause (and some other options), as the preview command for fzf, the wrapper also checks for the previous pidfile, removes it if it exists, and creates a new one, so that each time I press up or down in fzf, it opens a new image or video to preview. It takes a long time for mpv to open, though. The larger the image, the longer it takes.

HTTP is only a tiny chunk of 'the net'... As chrome can't actually do... most of that, what makes you think it was designed for chrome?

Karl Marx is:
From each according to his ability
To Each according to his need
+ the command for a centralized worker's state thats suppose to nationalize all industries and eventually collapse into a workers utopia. Lore of primitive communism -> slaverly -> feudalism -> capitalism -> state centralized sociallism -> communism being a linear path in history. Daily life is seen as an epic battle of good workers vs evil capitalist. Which gets "workers" and "capitalist" get searched and replaced with "gay" vs "straight" "black vs "white" "women" vs "patriarchy" "trans" vs "gender conforming" - the timeless epic battle gets readapted.

FOSS is:
Those with abilites make software for hobbies, personal gain, and passion.
Those with needs get whats avalible but are not entitled to the able'ds labor
Needs are meet because the abled person's passion project coincidentatly helped others.
here is no state agency commanding those with needs receive software it just happens through spontaneous order.
+ advocacy for FOSS focuses heavily on digital decentralized and not being interdependent on big tech, no lore of an epic battle, utopia, or model that captures all of human history but there is an us vs them against big tech to be fair.
Gay straight, trans, black, white just get along and develop cool software.

>marx doesnt really explain shit on how to get to communism

I know he barely wrote about communism's end result but we have clues. He described it as a stateless classless society without a division of labor. But he does explain partially how to get there. We know he called for a shift of class consciousness to get people to realize the great battle of workers vs bosses, unite and for workers to seize control of the GOVERNMENT then use state force. Where he was not clear Lenin took over with a vanguard interpretation. I agree Lenin wasn't following him 100%

Also why would Proudhon, Bakunin and others critique Marx for a centralized state leading to authoritarianism, why would Tucker say Marx was an ally of equality but very strong foe of liberty? The soviet union proved it was a hell.

The reason I disagree with you on [not explaining shit on how to get to communism] is

Wikipedia: The phrase "dictatorship of the proletariat" was first used by Karl Marx in a
series of articles which were later republished as The Class Struggle in
France 1848–1850.^[7] The term dictatorship indicates full control of the
means of production by the state apparatus.

Marx barely wrote about a communist utopia for the same stupid ass reason the Christian bible barely describe heaven in detail. Heaven is frequently mentioned in the bible but rarely described what its like there and the pleasures in it about it. At least Buddhist fleshed out their heaven realms leaving less to the imagination. But Buddhist don't view heaven as an ultimate escape from Samsara

My point is whenever flamboyant politically motivated college students day dream. They imagine the perfect luxury society which they don't have words for. They just loosely describe it with blissful emotions where everything is free, everyone lives in harmony without war and has universal education free government healthcare and not to mention "conquering the oppressive white patriarchical cis gender heteronormative system" Glossing over real world conflict and ignoring the natural world's clues on why society is a mess. Instead just blame it all on capitalism and say the alternative communism is a loose fairy magic enchanted land of pleasure. Marx was doing the same thing with communism with his end of history story or with that anti division of labor quote where he talks about someone post utopia hunting in the morning, fishing in the evening and rearing cattle in the afternoon. I believe the division of labor is the natural result of humans moving to agricultural societies from hunter gatherer and realizing some people are better at certain skills and dividing labor = better survival. But instead Marx thinks its exploitation and oppression. In example I am skilled at image processing with GEGL I don't have a fucking clue how to take care of farm animals and if I did I'd need to put 100s of hours of work to learn how to do it sufficently.

Perhaps black Luke Smith alt name Thought Criminal will show up one day and teach me how to raise and breed chickens and I will teach him how to make GIMP plugins and shitpost on /g/ like a champ

Basically, to get you to buy more more often. VRR is a poorly implemented technology, so you really have two choices:
Invest heavily into this technology with a $700+ monitor or buy a cheap $200 monitor.
With either option you're getting flawed tech that will make marginal improvements over the next few years. The heavy investors won't check for a few years, unless theres a huge leap, but its a nice $700 chunk. The cheapie poors are the ones that will sustain the manufacturer's business model of year after year purchases.
Alll this eventually will disappear once they figure out subscription based performance features like VRR 3.7, AMD Local Dimming Plus, or whatever else these whores want to lock behind an internet connection and sub.
