The lifetime of the average human. For long enough p and q, the brute force time is in the millions of years. That's counting using a massive data centre 24/7 the whole time.
>>
>>107558082
>For long enough p and q
I wonder for how long this will be true. IIRC 2000 bit are considered not safe, because quantum computers are pretty good at factoring prime numbers.
>inb4 quantum computers are a meme
they may be, but the day someone builds one (with enough qbits) all your encryption is instantly broken if you only rely on RSA, as the algorithms exist already.
>>
>>107553680
Why do you want to encrypt something? Are you a pedo?
>>
>>107558117
If you want to factor in quantum computing, then don't use RSA at all. No bit value is quantum safe. Our best quantum computers at present can factor... 20 bit numbers. Practical quantum computers are a very long way away.

>>
>>107552155
The large loan balances are mostly grad students. For dependent undergrad students, $31k is the most they can ever borrow. That gets bumped up to a bit over $50k but only if they can prove they no longer receive any support from their parents. $27k is the average debt a student who takes loans has after getting their four year degree. Not everyone takes out loans, so the average drops to $16k when everyone is included.
For those getting professional degrees, loan balances can get into six figures. Those numbers are often averaged in when the media talks about the student loan "crisis".

Is the ayn thor good for 3ds? Battery life and replaceability? Touch pad usage? Taking saves and data from a real 3ds? Too much to ask for streetpass?

I have a Thor.
The Thor is fine for 3DS. Most games are playable at a stable frame rate with 3x resolution. Battery life while playing 3DS games is very good. PC gaming will drain the battery faster than anything else. Turning the second screen off if you aren't using it helps with the battery. Touch pad response is good. No real noticeable latency. If you want to transfer saves between devices, you'll need a 3DS with CFW. Checkpoint is the main piece of software that manages saves. Street pass as far as I am aware is not available.
It says preorder because Ayn is still charging preorder prices for their units.
This will change soon. In general if you want a Thor you might want to get one now before the next batch goes into production. With the state of DDR5 prices right now, Ayn might increase the prices substantially to accommodate, or nerf the next batches somehow.
One more thing to note, the Thor is almost exactly the same size as a 3ds xl, just a bit thicker. It's a good handheld and I am happy with it.

wake me up when its the size of a 3ds

Early 2020s: China enacts laws severely crippling the internet for people unless they show ID

Jul 2025 (Online Safety Act): UK enacts laws neutering the internet for people unless they show ID; remains in effect despite initial outcry

Dec 2025 (Online Safety Amendment): Australia enacts laws neutering the internet for people unless they show ID; likely to remain in effect despite current outcry

Apr 2026? (KOSA, made it into the House recently): US enacts laws neutering the internet for people unless they show their IDs

EU has similar shit on the table iirc, they're the fucking EU they love regulation

This will get worse, and this won't go away, at least not in the way you want it to - it'll be an impossibly difficult sell because "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!" Security theater is notoriously difficult to reverse, just compare flying pre and post 9/11. This'll probably be more of the same. Again, UK already had a petition, the gov there just laughed in everyone's faces. Only way any of this is really "going away" is, like, the internet itself going extinct.

Not just this btw, also got countries banning Chinese social media (which in many cases can ironically be less restrictive), Android banning sideloading, etc.

This won't get kids playing outside again. They'll just watch only the government-OK kid-friendly TV, YouTube Shorts, and AI. Sheeple will still use a heavily policed internet and talk to Amanda the AI HR Lady because "brain need dopamine". China's still full of internet addicts despite having long had one of the world's most censored internets.

If porn was just naked people, or even just sex, there would be far fewer concerns about kids finding it.
Most porn is violent, degrading, reinforces harmful mindsets, promotes unsafe sexual practices, normalises incest, and is thoroughly degenerate overall.

Well that's sort of the thing. You have to change the heuristics depending on which machine you're doing. It's sort of hit or miss which heuristics prune too many good branches vs bad branches to get a quick convergence before you run out of memory.

I decided to do the puzzles again but in Rust, because that's what everybody else is using these days, and to fill the void until the 25th.
Struggled a fair bit to get a multi-file project to work but it seems to work now.

I did it the broot way this time because I don't want to deal with all the edge cases again.
Apparently you can't iterate over the same vector twice unless you mark it with '&', because otherwise the first for-loop takes ownership. Though I guess the '&' is no longer necessary since I reduced it to 1 loop.
The compiler is really fast at least, and error messages are pretty helpful.
