It was hard to get a side bun that looked right, so I forwent it entirely. I figured three-quarter views was a better way to fit two close-up within 2:3.
Earlier concept, but it added a braid going down, could be inpainted out but I wasn't sure about this anyway.

>>107631332The real reason is that Intel gambled that their 7nm node could tolerate near 6Ghz without requiring suicide run-tier voltages. The launch of V-cache SKUs from AMD was too much for optics. Raptor Like had no chance of catching-up in silly gayming stuff. Unfortunately, only a small number of Raptor Like chips could boost up to 6Ghz without requiring suicide-run tier voltages. The rest of chips broken down over time. Intel tried to downplay it because it would have open-up a massive can of worms. They did this before with Pentium III 1.13Ghz SKU back in the day.

>>107631417That's why HDR has a bad rep in general.
>>107631423Exactly. Double tone mapping in particular is a problem I've had to deal with a lot ever since Plasma introduced calibration, especially when running HDR games or applications with their own internal tone mapping.HDR is truly gorgeous when the stars align and everything works, and luckily for me, it mostly does, but it can be jarring to most normal people if they had previously only ever had to deal with weird color balances and gamma settings.
>>107622808>why is it STILL such a broken mess on windowsSkill issue HDR works perfectly fine on my 2 LG 4k monitors on Win 11
>>107623000>There's different standards of HDR for different quality levels, for different market segments.there's two standards competing against the same market segment and use case, hdr10 and dolby vision each one has a bunch of sub-variants for better quality, some of them (specially in the case of dolby vision) completely different and incompatible with the rest of their own ecosystem
>>107630103Worth it? Only for enthusiast home cinema. Imagine how a window looks when you clean it, after not cleaning it for years. Thats how HDR feels. For gaming it can be good, but it's annoying to set up.HDR is cool but annoying.

I’m looking for wood router bits, of which they’ve also got some, I’d assume you can extrapolate from their metal wares. That said, my JGZUI one I used to route some t-tracks into my workbench is quite ok. The shank is just a bit bigger than 6mm, so I have to remove to collar to get it out. Mildly annoying but for 2.something €, I guess that’s ok.

What’s up with all the anti Windows 7 posts lately?I switched from Gentoo to Windows 7 Platinum a few weeks ago, and I haven’t had a single issue so far. It’s noticeably faster than any DE or WM I’ve tried, which honestly surprised me, especially considering I’m running an RTX 5090.At first, I was worried about security and getting hacked. But it turns out I can install a fully up to date browser and a modern firewall, so that’s no longer a concern. It’s also much easier to use overall. The UI is consistent, clear, and easy to read. Because of that, I installed it on my girlfriend’s laptop and my parents’ PC as well and they’re really happy with it.I genuinely don’t understand why some people are so strongly opposed to it, especially considering the massive influx of AI generated packages Linux distros have seen in recent months.

>>107628799Pre-2020 we used to have frequent threads about how to extended and customize Windows 7 and 8.1, because pretty much everyone could recognize how shit Windows 10 was at the time. Sometime after coof started, this board became inundated with jeet bots, schizos, and microshills who would immediately flood any thread attempting to discuss legacy versions of Windows. It was ridiculously inorganic, and it was how "muh baby duck" got spammed into this boards vernacular. At least now there's some push back against the shills and spammers, and projects like vxkex and second system are improving every day, with support now extending to 8 and Vista too. And if zoomers are getting encouraged by an eceleb or whatever to abandon microshaft's latest AI hellscape, then honestly more power to them.

hi, today i bought the sony WH-1000XM6, finally giving rest to my old monoprice 108323, i wanted to share a photo of their current state, some of the things they had to go through, the hinges broke really fast i made them with a 3d printer i made, the wire inside them also broke multiple times, at one point it was too small to keep fixing it so i used one that had from another pair of headphones one of the drivers also stoped working when i open it i found the copper coil was out so i just put it back on and glued.
