2700K for mood lighting you intend to have on at night or in the evening, 4000K for primary lighting when you actually need a room to be fully and brightly lit.

4000K for overhead lights and 2700K for lamps. Use the lamps for regular ambient lighting usage and use the overhead for when you need better visibility.

Why doesn't Microsoft create a cell phone model? What could go wrong?
3 replies omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>106650567
It had this great feature, when you would drop it, the backing for the battery would pop off and the battery would eject itself. It was like some built in security measure, a drop activated self-locking measure. iPhone needs to come up with better self locking solutions.
>>
>>106650600
You're a lying sack of retarded shit.
>>
>>106650672
Why would I even lie about that? It literally would happen all the time. The phone itself keep working surprisingly. I loved the way it looked too. But yes, it would slip out of my hands and even at waist level, the back case and battery would eject flying across the room. I miss not giving a shit about having a phone on me and just memorizing some numbers.
>>

>create a cell phone model
maybe they could buy a leading cell phone manufacturer. that way they could get a jump start into the market and totally not destroy whatever company they buy.

How to install NVIDIA drivers according to the Debian wiki:
>yeah just fucking do this and read pages of stupid bullshit, then paste this, then paste this, then paste this, then paste this, then this etc
The actual solution:
>Paste this and you're done:
>sudo sed -i 's/main.*$/main contrib non-free non-free-firmware/' /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.sources && sudo apt update && sudo apt install linux-headers-amd64 nvidia-driver firmware-misc-nonfree

Why isn't the actual solution, one terminal prompt, at the top of the page? This shit is so fucking easy; the documentation is just ass.

Yea, that was one of the main goals I had with designing the thumb cluster. The thumb only has to move one position left or right from neutral to reach all the keys. That and it should have the same 6 keys as the manuform thumb. Kinda crude visualization but here's the keycaps of the manuform thumb cluster overlaid on top of my thumb cluster.

Why did Universal Windows Platform (UWP) fail?
>>
it didn’t, many applications use the UWP framework via a traditional installer.
>>
>>106650518
Microsoft gave up on Windows Phone and it was all downhill from there.
>>
>>106650518
Microsoft half-assed it, like they do with every UI platform they release. They are fine for demos but once you try to create production software with any Microsoft UI framework (other than Winforms), it quickly turns to shit.
Microsoft's response to this is to create yet another UI platform instead of investing resources into making any of the existing platforms workable.

all my inket printers clagged and had problems if i didnt print for awhile. im an infrequent printer and was recommended to switch to laser. beena little over a month and it's been good to me. faster and the print quality of text is so much better. not sure how the color is on laser but i was advised by everyone who suggested the laser to go monochrome so i did.

Remember to clear camera lens condensation. Put it in the microwave for 15 seconds. Don't do any more than that. It is rated to 30 seconds, so you got a margin of error.

I wonder how many people are laughing at this post in an unironic sense.
I also wonder if when movies shifted away from traditional effects towards CGI if the people working in the trad field also said
>you can tell its CGI though
and honestly thought that the statement had any substance to it.
Also, I would bet a lot of money that someone could make this same post, but put non-AI in the 'Generated' section and the same post and complaints would be made.
>>
>>106638237
That movie failed because it's story is simultaneously written from a shinto perspective but for a westoid audience. However, westoids don't know dick about kami and don't think of spirits that way so it was all just weird and confusing for westoids. The Final Fantasy games made by the same dude (e.g., FFVII, FFX) are also written from a shinto perspective but westoids misunderstood a lot of the fundamentals of the world building related to Shinto (e.g., mako in FFVII and pyreflies in FFX) and basically understand it through some fucked up headcanon -- so many westoid reviewers were like "this is nothing like Final Fantasy, it has never had anything like 'spirits'".
>>
>>106650604
I never played the games but thought the movie was kino when i watched it years ago. I could never understand why people hated it.
Why would they expect the studio to do just a 1:1 transfer of a game to the movie? Nigger, the game already exists if you want that story play the game.

quality, well researched, and well produced videos where genuine effort is put into making sure the video is both entertaining and informative. It's not just a video, it's a movement, a statement, and builds a community around it. Your youtube seeks to improve the lives of it's users, and the world at large and pays a living wage to all of the people that make it happen with full health, dental, and paid vacations and maternity leave. If we are to reinstate the Nazi party we cannot slouch and must make a quality youtube worthy of it.

>HBA in IT mode shouldn't interfere with a device's trim. that makes no sense.
It makes perfect sense once you realize these cards are all-software (the firmware is a small embedded OS) running on a repurposed old PowerPC desktop CPU design from the iMac era. That's also why they burn 10+W continuously and have no power management.

I'm not able to add new libraries to my Plex Server ever since the last update. Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried to look on their forums and even the reddit but no one there has any similar issues and I haven't been able to fix it. At best it'll work for a day or two and then will go down again. I've had to reset the server multiple times now but it doesn't fix itself.

Did you ever get something out of social media?
Instagram is very weird, I think something different about it everyday. Now it seems like it's an investment in fantasies, but I don't get to live them, so I don't get it. You can argue about subtleties, but that's bordering mental illness, which I can play with, but I don't know why the effect can't be much stronger.

No, I deleted X since it was a net negative in my life. I used to use Facebook a lot but in 2020 I deleted it.
Now I have Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok accounts with my real first and family name and I only use them for the very infrequent private message. All social networks suck.
Oh but I use Youtube extensively.

Are there any portable pocket computers for coding that aren’t absolute memes?
When I’m not at my PC, or traveling it would be cool to have something that’s the size of my phone that has an actual keyboard and would fit in my pocket.
Also maybe I could use it to get familiar with Linux.
