81% what? Of downloading the files? Then the problem is your internet not your pc.
Apt doenloads everything it needs before it starts the install so you can kill it and restart. You can rm -rf the cache if you want (just don't delete the folder, only the contents) but it has an integrity check anyway so just restart it and it will keep the packages that are good and redownload the bad ones.

librewolf over firefox because its more stripped down without the bloat. even if it is local, just having an off button would be the end of it (and the rest of the users that find it neat will continue using it)

We were talking about Rust.
If you willingly choose to use Zig, you should be PROUD of having to write something very explicit like
    var i: usize = 100;
i -= 1;
while (true) {
// do something
if (i == 0) break;
i -= 1;
}

What's better: putting check constraints in your database so that invalid data can never be entered, or validating data in your server code before that data is sent to the database?

Maybe "both" is the best answer, but implementing both is more work.
>>
>>107578975
It gets shit done and makes you a lot of money
>>
>>107582148
database constraints are a pain for migrations and are never enough, you usually end with complex business logic that the database can't enforce. Plus, you are mixing up responsibilities. Checks should be the responsibility of the business layer. Despite SQL having checks you shouldn't use them at all besides unique and foreign keys.
>>
>>107582289
What if some bozo accesses the production database and inserts invalid data? It could happen. Then your web app could produce unexpected behaviour

I've bought a split keyboard and i feel like a retard now. It's simply useless.
I can't use it one handed, layout is just counter productive and it's missing a lot of keys.
I dont know what the fuck i was expecting while having 30+ years of muscle memory using a normal full-sized keyboard.

T470, T490 or T14G1.
Make sure it's an IPS panel and ask the seller about the battery condition.
>>
>>107578622
I have an LOQ, which is just the "budget-friendly" legion series. Has removable RAM, mine has 2 M.2 slots so you can have a lot of storage. The keyboard is fused to the palm rest but imo, Lenovo has the best laptop keyboards out there. Cooling is great, and the hinge is nice.
Cons are that there is not 2,5" or any other traditional SATA option for sotage which would have been nice, a lot of backlight bleed on the display, and after one year the battery in mine just decided to try, but Lenovo's warranty is pretty great and they came to my house to swap it out no questions asked.
>>
>>107502998
I just picked up a cheap T14sG3 (AMD), I immediately like the premium feel of the chassis but there's pretty significant backlight bleed in the upper left of the screen, how easy would this be to solve? Would reseating the bezel/screen housing alleviate some of the pressure or am I just fucked?

>>107568552
>>
>>107582163
Canoeboot is only for computers that can run completely free, so that's not applicable for the T480. Libreboot is a distro of Coreboot, so there's not much difference really. The main advantage is that Libreboot offers pre-compiled ROMs.
