My freezer. I plan to adjust the settings so that it uses most of the electricity when the power is cheap and none during the most expensive hour of the day. I was also gifted a few solar panels that I plan to wire in on a separate low voltage DC circuit, thus avoiding use of electricians.

I don't own a house, and I highly doubt many people posting here do either. I do own a truck (that's paid off). My five accounts are email, bank, utilities, satellite radio, and lichess. I do have another email for work, but I don't consider it "mine" because it's owned by the organization I work for.

>Cybersecurity Employees Plead Guilty To Ransomware Attacks
https://yro.slashdot.org/story/25/12/30/1911201/cybersecurity-employees-plead-guilty-to-ransomware-attacks
>Ryan Goldberg, a 40-year-old incident response manager from Georgia, and Kevin Martin, a 36-year-old ransomware negotiator from Texas, admitted to conspiring to obstruct commerce through extortion. Between April and December 2023, Goldberg, Martin, and a third unnamed co-conspirator deployed the ransomware against multiple U.S. victims and agreed to pay ALPHV BlackCat's operators a 20% cut of any ransoms received. They successfully extracted approximately $1.2 million in Bitcoin from one victim, splitting their 80% share three ways before laundering the proceeds. Both men face up to 20 years in prison and are scheduled for sentencing on March 12, 2026.

literal gobbledygook fudder
your mom is full of security holes because her API got injected with malicious bytecode by a black hat hacker and the payload achieved persistence by overwriting DNA in her egg cells, forcing a child process non-native to her operating environment to be spawned (idk where i'm going with this but yeah sorry to hear your mom got blacked)

>>
>>107718594
it is but vast majority of people still understand it so little that they can't see its value. It's why everyone keeps saying "we're still so early" even though it's a meme. It's kind of true. Stuff like NFTs can revolutionize the way we handle business, government, media, etc but everyone just thinks it's a get-rich-quick scheme because of the dumb monkeys, and nobody can sensationalize rigorous and decentralized logging and cryptography. I mean Christ, imagine never having to touch the DMV again. That's the type of thing NFTs should, and hopefully will eventually, have solved.

I miss when technology was limited to the living room and couldn't hurt me

>>

>will this teach normal niggers to go back to pc and browsers
No. Because those too are now designed for them.
Duty of care has clamped down so hard that logging into web accounts for some services is now gatekept by things like having a mobile phone number; normalfaggots have these.
However there's also a host of services that aren't offered to people using the web service / internet banking on some banks and you have to use the app to do it. Again though, some banks like RBS & HSBC won't allow you to login or complete the registration process if they detect that developer options has been enabled on android, or you have a flagged piece of software on your phone or cannot provide a mobile telephone number for verification.

Normalfaggots ruined the internet and you'll never convince and industry run for wealth extraction to invest in niche services. They have to be told to do it by regulators and regulators only want your life to get worse.

i've checked some of his posts and i partially actually agree with him.

if i participate in open source, it doesn't mean i have an obligation to support it all way along. neither i must fix all bugs or security issues.

i had free time and will to do smth - i did it. consider it like one time donation. the fact i donated once (=contributed to open source) doesn't mean i must donate each month from now on.

>>
>>107711863
he is right. nobody is obligated to help you. he didn't sign any papers granting free software support.

if you have any issues with open source software, you are more than welcome to come with PR/patch/contribution.
