XrayDisk, Reletech (P600), Fanxiang, Crucial (P3 Plus), and PUSKILL are well talked about in that order of popularity. Though most reviews are in Portuguese.
All mostly entry type.
There's Lexar NQ790 but I don't see it very often. There's Hiksemi as well but I only see it when there is a big coupon stacking sale.

I saw a review on newegg where the user claimed an unit simply stopped working after 1 month of use. That's why I decided not to put it. I can review.
>>
>>100160387
Completely forgot about it because I haven't seen it being posted on sales. I think XrayDisk took it over on price.
>>100160994
This can happen to any electronic since it's all silicone lottery. I remember some ADATA XPG something having massive negative reviews because a specific lot for about 3-4 months were all dying fast.
Then there's the Samsung ones last year that were degrading super fast because of a software problem.
There is also Netac which I'm using their normal 2TB SSD and it's been working fine for months.

So my speakers bit the dust yesterday. They are a pair of Alesis Elevate 5 MKII, so 5 inch + tweeters or whatever. Any good driver or whatever that can run them? I think i could just replace the thing on the back with something to power them instead and reuse the speakers themselves.
Also, to drive the second speaker, it just runs a long 1/4 inch aux. I don't know where I could find a board to drive that.

you just know it is done on purpose too because of the race obsessed woke freaks. you can be logged on your account and it will still pop up.

they all love the idea of forcing people into cosplaying as any of the characters at the bottom the progressive stack because that is "demoralizing", and therefore GOOD! (don't you dare harass them back though) but, at the same time, they don't want anyone to actually follow through that because that's what the ameritard did 100 years ago, which is very problematic and triggering!
>>
so I was looking for cheap watt meters and leaning towards a couple of suraielec for some small appliances when I stumpled upon these https://www.amazon.com/Kasa-Smart-Monitoring-Compact-Certified/dp/B07B8W2KHZ which would come out eing cheaper and also handle higher amperage and is also a known brand. So does anyone know if there's a catch? And does anyone know what's this matter shit that's mentioned?

It's not billed as a watt meter but it says it has energy monitoring so it should do that anyway

yeah but I was asking about which board. All I see are bt combos with questionable parts at best. I guess I could salvage some from the speakers or something. Also, any way to know what is dead there? It's probably something I can just replace. They were working just fine and didn't have any power problems.

I'm looking for a good/better pen option.
Things I care about:
- black ink
- preferably ballpoint
- refills are available
- decently fast drying. I'm a right-hander so it doesn't have to be instant but I prefer it not taking ages to dry either.
- Feels ergonomical and not too plasticy or too light.
- Can be carried in a jacket inner pocket daily
- Bonus if it's ergonomical enough and/or smooth enough that you can write a lot without fatigue.
- suited for writing small (so decently thin ink lines)

I originally used to use the Xiaomi Mijia sign pens, which were really nice.
Metal housing, heavy but not too heavy, high quality ink. Something I liked a lot about it was that it was more "scratchy" than most gel pens while still feeling soft enough. Felt almost like a pencil to write with rather than a gel pen. The original version had a classic "push to engage" design. Then they made a second version, where you twisted to engage the pen, and that version was already slightly worse, because the ink was definitely more of a "gel pen" type of feel. Sadly they don't make either anymore and genuine refills are also getting hard to find (most will not be genuine). Only downside is they weren't really the most ergonomical, but not horrific either.

There are the deli metal sign pens now, which feel like decent approximations of the second mijia version, but I haven't found a replacement for my white whale of version 1. Bunki seems to make a clone too, but also of version 2 rather than version 1.
Any suggestions? What do you anons use?

The best ballpoints are uni/uniball Jetstream, smooth dark, waterproof permanent ink smooth as fuck for a ballpoint. They make the jeatstream as a g2 (not pilot g2 the pen refill standard g2) so you can use it in just about any standard refillable pen.
You can get it in .5mm i think there is even a Japanese model .3
You can also just buy bulk plastic uni pens that use the Jetstream ink.
Nice metal pen

>>100169179
Thanks for the answer anon. Issue is "smooth as fuck" is not really what I am looking for. I remember the smooth gel pens bring all the rage and me never quite liking them. It might have been a pilot G2 actually that I remember feeling "too soft" and also leaving thicker lines than I'd want.
That's what made the sign pens so special, it was scratchy but not overly so. I lack the vocabulary to explain it exactly.
I might order a Jetstream with my next normal order though and just give it a try, they seem reasonably cheap.

How do I buy a power station without being chinked? Do companies lie about capacity like they do with power banks? ~300 and ~500wh stations seem relatively common so I'd be looking for something like that, lfp for durability. The idea would be for it to always be connected and prevent some stuff from shutting down when there's an outage, is there a marketing term for that seamless transition during outages? Used the phone variant for about two years, then the metal simply fucking broke.
The best feature is that it detaches your screen, neither tablets nor phones are intended for the pressure the clamp applies, so after prolonged use the glue gives and your screen detaches from the shell.

ok ive been looking at power stations and have found two that mention working as ups this https://www.amazon.com/EF-ECOFLOW-Portable-RIVER-Generator/dp/B0B8MXPRDB and this https://www.amazon.com/Station-Portable-Function-Generator-Emergency/dp/B0CZLK7F64 from what I see ecoflow is an established brand in this niche and has a lot of though put on their products to the poitn of having extra features like an app so I guess you can monitor the unit remotely (don't really care about that though). Bridna on the other hand seems to have insane value but also has lees features, and the reviews don't go that far back so I'm guessing it's a relatively new brand. Thoughts? anyone used any of these brands or know anyone that has?

Weird thing is that bridna says 5 years warranty in the description but the technical details says 2 years, what gives?

Shipping got worse since I last bought in December.
First order seem to be stuck at local post service after 10 days. Second order has taken 7 days just to ready for shipment from warehouse. And it hasn't moved since.

They were all guaranteed shipping Choice items.

You probably won't sew enough to worry about the first one. For them breaking, the nice needles explode shattering into several pieces and flying across the room since they are made of hard steel. The chink ones will probably just flop over bent instead.

So nobody heard of bridna? It's remarkable how little information I find of them. They have their own website and seem to have people in the USA handling stuff at least. Also some power stations you see being sold by different "literally who"companies, like generic designs that just get rebranded, but I haven't found their designs being reused by other brands.
>>
>>100180310
I mean the thing to consider is if their 5 year warranty is worth anything. If you have to spend $100 to ship the heavy ass broken one back to china to get a replacement is it worth it? Will they be around in 5 years?
>>
>>100180398
Honestly I probably wouldn't use the warranty, I'm mostly taking it as a testament of the trust they put on their product. Everything I've seen from ecoflow is that it's a trustworthy brand (and I'm pretty sure you'd ship their shit in USA as well), so I'm honestly mostly asking about bridna while ecoflow is more of a baseline for me

Car fatalities happen in the U.S. as well. I watch a twitch streamer call jakenbakelive and he's been streaming in China for a decade. He's gone to dozens of cities but in his thousands of hours of him walking on live stream he has never captured footage of a car accident, explosion or a building collapse. It's just people doing normal everyday shit, in fact he was on a roadtrip there last month. I was surprised because I initially watched his streams to see shit breakdown but I never got to see any which makes me sad.

for those unaware, esp32-cam is a super cheap, tiny hobbyist DIY cam that you easily program from your PC

the camera is decent (for the price) but the low power chip will act as a bottleneck, so unless you want 5 fps footage you're gonna have to use low resolution. Its still a very interesting chip for DIY security, for fun projects like RC cars or planes with a cam, etc. Im a big noob myself but i got it working so i guess its not that hard

Best controller for big hands?
I mostly play retro JRPGs so good face buttons (clicky, feel good to press, not too hard) and a good dpad are a necessity.
I've been looking at the 8bitdo ultimate C, but I'm worried my huge caveman hands would swamp it since it's made after a jap pattern by chinks.

The postal agreement could go, but that only impacts small packets. For those of us that buy entire parcels via the fast shipping bundling, needing to fork up another 3-4€ per parcel is fucking nothing. '
And people will keep buying the small products because its usually B or C runs or clones of existing Chinese factories using the same molds.

For people buying cloned equipment off Alibaba? The 2 that keeps keeping Alibaba alive is that clones usually go for proven equipment, and the west refusing to step up manufacture. Nothing like buying some expensive Swedish drilling equipment, without having to deal with somebody wanting 30% just for shipping via them.
The same is true for sourcing product inventories off Alibaba.
>>

any good chink router?
>>
>>100207729
Depends, the 6ghz band isn't authorized in china yet so most of their routers don't support 6g, so no wifi 6e or wifi 7
If you don't care about that you can get the real actual routers made by xiaomi not the random AliExpress listings with xiaomi in the title and get something acceptable for $30-$40

Thanks, I'll have a look then
I was hesitant on Ali because of warranty. Given my first portable monitor shit the bed, I basically expect my next one to. At least on Amazon, you can get some of your money back when that happens. With Ali you don't have anything to fall back on.
Plus I kind of thought on Ali you'd get cheaper builds or more fabricated specs.

Anyone bought a portable monitor of Ali?

so just got partially chinked, got the sanda cartier tank homage but the stupid buckle was not properly soldered and so it broke, the watch itself is pretty nice doe, could I try to get some sort of coupon from ling ling?
>>

Of course not, that's work that takes time
You will read subjective reviews some guy banged out in an afternoon after using the smartwatch for 2 days and you will like it

kek it will probably be defective as well, I just asked for a 3usd refund the whole thing was 9usd and the reviews already said the strap was shitty so I ordered one from a different store in advance for 4usd, I might be able to hack something with some enameled copper wire

Its a super half assed attempt at a fake rolex movement, you can tell from the pink gear and the slots cut in the winding weight they probably just had those laying around from making 34mm datejusts or something

Is there a way to buy low value things from the coin page without paying shipping and still keep the coin discount?

Buy now - coin discount applies. Shipping applies.
Add to cart - only regular coin discount applies. Ships free when I get enough things into the cart.

When is the next big sale?

There's some kind of Coins Super Discount event that ends on May 1. Some items give 70% off with coins. I think it stopped giving me 70% off after I bought a few 8GB DDR3 Ram sticks for $2.37 each with the discount. I may have missed out on discounts on better stuff.

Thinking of getting a 2673v3 and a chink x99 to upgrade my fx6300, but keeping my ddr3 2x8gb ram

Is this a good combo? What would rec instead? I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible. And the gains from ddr4 seem marginal, so I'd like to avoid getting new ram

I was looking for a cheap watch or for a replacement for my grandfather's watch (basically just the hands, crystal and the straps but I can't find replicas)
I found a Pagani design with a synthetic sapphire crystal and steel case but a horrible dial for 40$. Any recommendations for the same price range?

What happened to that combined shipping guarantee or whatever they were doing last year?
I was even getting things upgraded into a a high shipping tier without spending the minimum. I bought a RF module for a few dollars. Some poor wagie had to deliver it straight to my door on a Saturday morning like it was an expensive expedited parcel.
Things have gone back to the ways of my little packet traversing the globe over weeks. Disappoint.
