is there some website reviewing the 20$ chink shit on amazon.
how can i tell if they have a broad spectrum of sound despite no subwoofer.
how can i tell if the 20-40$ 2.1 have decent woofing.
it seems the creative pebble and trust brands are recomended
>>
>is there some website reviewing the 20$ chink shit on amazon.
>CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME AN ARTICLE THAT JUSTIFIES AND TELLS ME MY CHINK KNOCK OFF SHIT IS AS GOOD AS THE 100 DOLLAR PROPER SHIT?!?!

OP you know the answer already
>>
The best speakers that are dirty cheap are Edifier ones, especially if you eq them (their tweeters have a weird spike at 8-10k for some reason)

A 20$ chink speaker is going to be shit, they probably don't all use the same type of speaker anyway at that price.
>>
>>101240166
are edifiers a know good brand?
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/M1360/dp/B003TWN6HU/ref=sr_1_14?sr=8-14

https://www.amazon.de/-/en/R12U-BLACK/dp/B0158JRAE6/ref=sr_1_20?sr=8-20

are they better than creative pebbles?

Yes
Yes

$20 speakers are going to be shit regardless of who makes them. When you factor in all the overhead involved with producing and shipping a product around the world you are left with just pennies worth of materials. Even headphones aren't good at that price.

If you want something that is actually pleasant to listen to then you need a bigger budget. If you don't want to increase your budget then fuck it just buy whatever will look nice on your desk.

doesnt creative make the best measurable speakers in $100-$10000 range for $500
>>
>>101241031
With dirty cheap I meant like 60-100 bucks (like the Edifier r1000 or r1280t), those you linked are 20 bucks and will most likely sound like garbage

Nah, you just go to a garage sale and buy grandpa's old speakers that used to be $1000 back in the day
>>
>>101240078
Idk if you're a sound nerd or anything, but I'm not and I just wanted decent sound to quietly watch netflix/YouTube and the pebbles were perfect for me. I've never needed to go louder than half way and they were like $40
>>
>>101245517
But why not? If you can use an equalizer, you can get endgame audio from a 20$ IEM. Assuming you don't need frequencies below 60 Hz, do active 100 $ speakers sound really that bad?
>>
im not an audiophile im basically looking for something better than the built in pc monitor speakers.

just how much can EQ on pc fix bad speakers?
>>

>just how much can EQ on pc fix bad speakers?
EQ can fix a bad room, not a bad speaker.
If you are buying speakers, stick to the typical recommendations. If you are going to spend less than 50$, buy some IEMs instead.

wtf does eq do if your room has horrible echoing
>>
>>101247105
That will motivate some to attend live music in a proper auditorium.

no, unless you're playing them in a 100m^2 room
even the cheapo edifier whateverthefuck is good enough if you just slap a filter on it
doing room eq (renting for as little as $100 per day) will make it perform better than a non-room eq $25000 speaker

My 200 euro bookshelf speakers are fine for at the pc.

$20? Better off finding something at goodwill or a dumpster or something at that price point. There are phone apps for measuring frequency response.

why do some amplifiers have a yPbPr video input? i saw a big amp the other day with a lot of input, and omng them was a few ones labeled "video in", "dvd in".

also, does anyone here know anything about a speaker company called Perser, specifically Perser SP-70? I can but them for around $200 and am wondering if it's a good deal
