I want to order from this store again in hopes there's not another of these errors. Am I being too reckless? I think it was a problem with the shipping rather than with the store as it was not my first order from them. At worst, I'll dispute another refund. There are lots of results for alarm clock radio.
They should have been pretty much perfected by now.

Before that, check gumtree or whatever to see whether anyone if getting rid of a clock radio nearby.

Holy.
A quartz wristwatch has an accuracy of 15 to 20 seconds per month. (1 part in 100,000).
Your clock is to 3 or 4 times worse :(
>>

>DAB radio
My bad.
Google says DAB is not used in the USA.

My currently suggestion is to see whether clock claims any particular accuracy, and to get the thing replaced.

Your alternatives are:
- Get a radio clock. See if it keeps good time. get replacement if it doesn't.
- Get a radio clock that can receive the atomic time signal. It'll have to be placed somewhere it can receive the atomic radio signal. So positioning the radio clock would not be up to you.
- Get a radio clock that uses the internet. ... Yeah.

Set the time on your radio clock so that it's running early.
Have the thing tuned into your favourite station that gives you the beeps before giving you the time / news.

Is it safe to buy a 7500f on AliExpress? It seems better than the 12400f which is a similar price, it just isn't available in the UK.
>>
>>101415299
Look at the store's stats.
- How long as it been around.
- How has it been rated.
- How much trade is it doing.

Look at the product page.
- How many sales.
- How many reviews.
- Do pictures from reviewers look good.

Are you paying using a credit card?
You can always do a charge back if all other options fail.

Any thoughts on the Baseus 65W 26800mAh bank? Use case is to charge a laptop among other things, and also to bring along in flights. Apparently it's 99Wh which is just 1Wh shy away from airline limit which I'm guessing is why it's 26800mAh in the first place, but it feels a bit too close to handwave if I'm the TSA or something.

Also ideally it should last as long as possible, I've seen some reviews saying they've been using theirs for up to 2 years but at the same time apparently the quality control is kinda bad.

I can grab one for about 30 bucks, which is as good as it gets from what I can tell looking at other 65W options from other brands.

some chinese knockoff of the raspberry pi i guess?
none of these are worth it anymore honestly. i hate to be the guy to tell you to just buy a phone when you want an mp3 player, but really, even a raspberry pi 3b+ which was released 8ish years ago is now $50 (its rrp was $25 lol)
raspberry pi 5, $85 lowest price but with that you can pretty much start buying mini pc's
tell me what you think. i'll think up some more options if you can narrow down what you're open to buying.
>>
>>101423333
Checked.
RGB / dimmable lighting, whether strips or other form, plenty of choices.
Custom / design printed mousepads are pretty ubiquitous and affordable. Can usually choose multiple dimensions, 3mm thickness is good.
Gaymer / media knick knacks. I'm no advocate for shelves full of waifu figurines, but a few toys associated with favorite IPs isn't too bad. ex. Fallout Vault Boy bobble head, Pokemon figurines / plushies, Star Wars "LEGO"s, etc.
Lots of cheap organizing bags for various electronics / small tools if you don't already have storage solutions for hard drives, cables, etc.
Bathroom vanity organizers are good for guest-friendly home. Cheap clear containers for cotton pads, cotton swabs is nice to have out.
Tons of magnets if you want some fridge personalization & utility (hang papers / notes). Also lots of bottle openers, one I have is a lightsaber handle (cheaply finished, but functional). Wouldn't get too many other kitchen things that touch your food / touch hot things.
Not necessarily chinkshit, but if you wanna fuck bitches and make a good impression, please have decent mattress and bedding (pillows, blankets, comforter (duvet) and cover). Bitches will dry up from a single crusty pillow, noisy uncomfy mattress, and childhood racecar sheets or w/e.
Enjoy moving into your own place anon!

>>101423333
Dunno if you are a console gaymer or PC only, but if you're PC only, consider getting a few controllers for co-op vidya. People often discuss Gamesir or Flydigi controllers. I went with some cheap Gamesir Nova Lites are they're holding up fine. I guess people say the battery charge isn't long on them compared to others. Download some emulators and ROMs to play Mario Kart / Smash Bros and other co-op games.

you need a mat of some kind for your table
it can be a huge mousemat or like an actual work mat. even if you're not into tinkering or soldering the mousemat is going to save your table incase you need to take things apart like a phone, or if you're changing screws, or simply taking pictures of something and you need a unicolor background

Is there a decent (wired?) range extender or AP I can find on Ali to slightly extend my home wifi? The modem is of course on one end of the place, I'd like to have the router also near it because of the most-imporant devices, but there is not signal in the opposite side. WWYD?
>>

I haven't played much with it yet everything since I gota the Apex because I wanted to stress test it due to the QC issues, but it's quite a solid proposal. Mechanical buttons, Hall effect in sticks and triggers (which also have adaptive feedback), quite the vibration too I must say. That is the Max version which supposedly has a bunch of fixed when compared to the Elite, its first version and also comes with a dock. My only complaint so far is the annoying colors. I can post more pictures later from both of them.
Current controllers: A bunch of PS4 alternatives that I got it on a whim and regret it massively, EASYSMX 9114 (no hall effect, first version), 8bitDo Ultimate (no HE), Machenike G5 Pro Max and the mighty APEX 4 currently being tested on Elden Ring because I'm still on the returning period from Aliexpress, but so far so good.

just by something like a 9th/10th gen intel thin client from ebay. SBCs are only useful if your use case requires: low wattage, micro form factor, Portability, bare headers and other robotics shit.

The reason so many of these end up as emulation machines is that it's a credit card sized brick you can throw in any backpack. if you just want it to be an appliance running pi hole and I unno some other lite client service maaybe but dont try and "learn linux" on it, that thing is basically an arduino and linux is a compatibility shit show.

Da jia hao, I just got a new Xiaomi smart rice cooker (EU version, I got it from a local reseller, not aliexpress), and it works without WiFi too, but I'd like to try the smart features.
I wonder which region I should use in the Mi Home app? I know they fuck people over with region-locked settings all the time (especially since I'm in the EU), is there anything I should be wary of? Should I choose my own country or the US or something else? Is it possible to change the region of the account later and re-link the device to that? I don't want to screw myself over by selecting something I can't change later.

This is the one: https://www.mi.com/global/product/xiaomi-smart-multifunctional-rice-cooker/

Case is just fine, nothing extraordinarily. I like how they ok'd the case and plate color I wanted. I got tented one because I assumed it came with bigger battery, but I'm not too sure since it looks like a regular sized lithium. Tenting feet is probably better overall considering you can customize the angle, but again, not sure how big the battery will be on the flat case compared the tented.

Just checked, I have outemu silent ocean. I can feel the stem scraping on the housing whenever I press it down. Can't wait for new switches to come in.

The US has strict wifi frequency requirement, if you chose US you will lose some bands/frequencies/channels that is available elsewhere. It really makes no difference when it comes to a rice cooker.

You’re wasting your time.
Iot apps are deprecated before you ever buy the product which is often a reason why the product is cheap.
Doesn’t have to be cheap chink shit either. I bought a heat pump dryer that came with iot module on it. I tried once to use it but you can’t, in my case it was many reasons, you need to have a router/home internet connection I don’t therefor it won’t connect. The app didn’t recognize my region and because of that it didn’t recognize my dryer model because these things are region specific so it wouldn’t have worked regardless. Even if it had, all it does is send you a notification of when it’s done. I don’t live in a mansion I can tell when it’s done. So the only people this could possibly be conceived for is the very rich who live in very big homes, who would probably have paid help anyways and would never even touch the dryer. It’s all a marketing gimmick

review here >>101276471

also Poco x6 arrived this morning after only 2 days (fr to de) and it's fucking fantastic.
the screen is amazing, speed is amazing, camera, sound, performance the looks. everything kicks major ass and basically, I'm gonna cum.
though I did get chinked by 10 euro and could have gotten it for 180 but I don't even care cause this phone is great.

the included case is a bit weird though with that giant as fuck cutout for the cameras, but the material is so pleasant. shame it has no SD slot, would have been a perfect phone. has 3.5mm jack though.
also 67w charging is real fast and I'm never ever gonna use it cause I don't want my battery to die in one week. take care of your batteries lads never charge above 10w.

my electric cleaning brush just arrived, it did take a lot of trouble i had with cleaning my bathroom away. the brush went easily into the nooks and crannies i had trouble getting my old cleaning brush into and it finally allowed me to clean my toilet properly (there was a really nasty stain in the inner ring that simply wouldn't go away with cleaning cloths). sadly the telescopic head was really short and flimsy and i had to clean the floor in a really bad position for my back. i also tried one of the smaller sponges that came with it and sadly i have no idea how am i supposed to attach it to the machine, there were some velcro pads that came with it but they didn't hold and apparently were supposed to go to the bigger cleaning cloth head (although now that i look at it, there was a round velcro pad that was supposed to go to the smaller head but it slipped under some stuff, queue that one video of the IT nigga facepalming). all in all it was a good purchase and i'll be using it more in the future.

>>101441112
I also have a tiny bathroom with a washing machine but it's easy to clean when done properly. You have to do it more often like 2x or 3x times a week. Every time you're flushing your shit/pee some particles will get splashed everywhere.

This one doesn't fit under my monitor, which is the only available space I have left. 20 cm or 8 inches would be the perfect size because lifting my monitor any higher would be uncomfortable.

review says the weight is 80g vs Logi's 184g, the scroll wheel is worse. not worth it.

The drop down menu thingy disappear for the $30 coupon even though I'm testing it over $50 worth of item.

The only coupon code that works is the $1 off $1 for some reason.

I wonder if it's because I recently canceled 5 items. I canceled the items because I saw it with a lower price and it didn't shipped yet so I planned to re-order it, but now it won't let me use the coupon codes!

Interested by this too: any portable solar panels that are not a complete scam?
>>
>>101445858
I could have stocked up on some electronics supplies. Like silicone wire an anon posted recently.
Maybe some microcontroller boards.
An eink display module.
Lora modules.
Soldering iron temp meter. Or more generic temp probe.
Could have fit a few of these things under the $20 I wasted on shit just to fill the cart.
>>
>>101445934
Or even more solar panels >>101445917
Fuck.
>>
>>101445917
Nope.
Potable solar panels just aren't big enough to produce any meaningful amount of energy.
>>
>>101445498
What did you think about?
>>
>>101445979
I've read some buyer reviews out of curiosity (yes, I know they could be fake) and people were saying that the portable solar panels could charge a smartphone in 2-3 hours. I'm fine with that, I don't need something crazy.

>spend $60 on a bunch of chink shit yesterday
>some of it is quite heavy and bulky
>chang tells me the order will be split into two separate packages with their own tracking numbers so it wont end up with in single bulky one that takes longer to process/ship
>both "smaller" packages ship at the same time, 8 hours after placing the order
fuck aliexpress, the sellers on that mofo would have sent a message/email demanding i pay more for shipping, and if i didnt the order would be canceled
>>
>>101432496
this phone is pretty fucking great. I been having fun
>>
>>101444913
I figure out the "issue" now. One of the items I bought yesterday was a super deal item and it worked with coupon stacking yesterday but today they made it so that none of the super deals can work with coupons anymore so it just doesn't increase the threshold.

I guess it was a bug because on the website you cannot add super deals to card but in the app you can.

>$45 in credit
>Expires Jul 19 8:59 CET
i legit give up, there is nothing that interests me in the slightest. i'm mostly looking at stuff for my PC, but they're such dubious quality that it's probably a waste of money.
>1tb sada ssd for a little bit extra (to use it as an external drive)
it probably slows down to usb 2.0 tier-speeds.
>ddr4 ram
there's 90% chance i would need to downclock my existing 16gb. also 4 slots on AM4 platform is a nightmare
>poco x6
maybe if the coupons worked (because in typical chink fashion they're already used up, despite the sale going for 3 more days). now even if i use almost $50 in credit it's only a little bit cheaper than it was less than 2 weeks ago.

learn how ssds work bruh, all of them do
especially now that pretty much all sata ssds are dramless
>>
>>101446923
no one is making sata ssds anymore. the shit you see on aliexpress is literal e-waste being recycled
>>
>>101446814
Buy yourself something useful, like a powerbank from one of the reliable established chink brands like UGREEN or Baseus, both have official stores on AE.
>>
>>101447153
i did years ago and never used it, i don't go outside except for shopping or work so i never run out of battery
>>
>>101447147
not really, the recycled e-waste only applies for those very cheap wd/samsung clones that for some reason BRs keep buying
some sata ssds like the kodaks do use modern-ish Maxio controllers with YTMC memory like 128L, not peak technology of course but way better than recycled SM controllers from 2020

i'm not a fan of in-ears, i've been using flat earbuds exclusively for years now, on all devices i own. i had KZs before and they were super uncomfortable. i don't think i like sound isolation at all. some time ago i thought of getting final audio, but they don't sell those on aliexpress
my vidos work just fine (tm). if i don't find anything i'll just buy 10 more pairs, though i already have a few spare ones.
>>
>>101447368
That's basically what I need, so they are good for longer durations, they don't overheat or randomly disconnect, I would like to connect it to to the hdmi output of a digital camera.
>>
>>101447378
Get some airpod-like ones like the Freebuds SE 2 then, those don't go inside your ear canal.
>>
>>101447378
I think a lot of people liked the moondrop space travel as well if you want flatties
could also just get some over heard headphones like samson sr850
>>
>>101447392
No idea about long time usage, I only use it for quick stuff like seeing if a laptop/hdmi device works and it does get a bit warm.
Still, they're like $5-$10 so even if it shits the bed it's not a big loss.
>>
>>101447422
>moondrop space travel
those are in-ears
>>
>>101447454
I don't care about the money, I want a reliable stream, I don't want it to disconnect in the middle of recording. At least an hour of continuous recording.

those have very low quality floor. chang will cut corners and give you the worst strap for the price and doesn't care about the low rating because he can just make a new shop. don't buy them, probably cost chang less than 10 cents to make.
