If you think about it paying for proxies IS the poorfag option. Actually think about it for a second, to use local models(the semi-decent ones atleast) you need some pretty powerful hardware, hardware that can cost upwards of thousands of dollars, meanwhile paying for a proxy is one-time 60 dollar payment. Local models just have a much higher initial cost of entry compared to proxies.
