I'm a little confused: even if NF4 was worse than FP8, it still might be worth running for VRAMlets, so it's really impossible for it to "lose" unless it was slower or took more memory than FP8 or if the quality loss was intolerable. I mean, quantization is probably going to hit some tasks more than others. If there was no trade-off, it would be a "free lunch," and those are hard to achieve. I still think it's worth doing side by side comparisons.

Why does Flux like to blur images if they have white backgrounds? Very weird quirk, seems like a training data problem, like maybe a disproportionate number of the TD images with white backgrounds were also low resolution
