At the moment, the biggest things they keep showing for it are that you can make pictures with flamingos wearing hats and send them to your friends. Or you can do the "circle to search" thing. These and you can alter the pictures you take to make them less authentic (adding smiling faces and removing items in the background that weren't there when you took the shot). i googled, found many tutorials and each of them tells a different story. use Magisk, use SuperSU, use Heimdall, use Odin, patch boot.img, patch .tar file, install app, download official firmware, download Bitfrost, download files that don't exist, AP tar.md5 file,BL, CP, CSC....what the fuck
installing LOS was a piece of cake but now i'm in some uncanny territory where nothing makes sense and i simply wanted to try AdAway

Why is every single fucking Android clock widget such a piece of garbage?

I just need a clock widget that looks good, can have color customized to match background, can set timers THAT ACTUALLY FUCKING GO OFF, and are free.

Am I missing something? I've tried like 10 clock apps in the store and they all suck cock. The best one I found was the fossify clock, but the timer still randomly doesn't make noise. What the fuck is going on?

bros, is there a way to shorten the scrolling duration? I mean when I scroll and take my finger off it keeps going for an obnoxiously long time. Can I make it continue to scroll for like one second? I hear people complain about scroll lag with this phone and I have not experienced that at all (unless this is what they mean, but this isn't how I interpret scroll lag), but man... this is kind of annoying. I already have all the animations and shit turned off but I can't find a setting regarding scrolling.

Currently on a pixel 6a and hoping to get at least another year (ideally 2) out of it, but after seeing the pricing for pixel 9 and hearing rumors that the a series has been cancelled, I'm concerned on what to do next.

Both Xperia 1 VI and 5 V have very capable cameras but the problem is they are manual cameras. With the Pixel you're used to pulling out your phone, pointing it at the subject and taking a picture. With Xperia you will need to adjust shutter speed, ISO and white balance for every scene or every time the light changes. If you know what you're doing, you can take literally best in class pictures out of your Xperia, if you don't, you're gonna be very disappointed.

The 5 V is like less than 60% of the price of the 1VI, so it seems like a great deal, plus I am unsure I would enjoy a phone bigger than my current one. Only Sony has an SD card slot, but their auto mode seems to suck. The telephoto seems to suck even harder.
What about the Samsung A55? Main camera is the same as the S24. Might not be the fastest CPU, ect, but at least it is cheap with SD slot.

also 24mm is the lens equivalent, the less the mm the wider is the lens (and less the zoom)

and for binning it takes for example in 4 to 1 binning 4 pixels, averages the input and treats it as one big pixel. in 64mp sensors that makes 16mp photos, with a benefit of having less noise and also you can on some (like X6) have an added bonus of "lossless" X2 (or more depending on the phone) zoom. where it doesn't do the binning but takes a crop of the sensor at native megapixels, resulting in technically lossless x2 zoom but without binning.
it's like taking a full 64mp photo and then cropping it to the area that would show up in x2 zoom.

on x6 it works great and I was hard pressed to tell the difference between x1 and X1, it probably matters more for low light where noise is a factor and binning helps with noise and light sensitivity.
effectively it also means you have two main lenses because with x1 I have 25mm and with x2 I have 50mm which looks nicer in a lot of cases, especially portraits.

you can also shoot raw if you use a third party camera, but then youll have to manually process it with something like Snapseed, there are also gcam ports that improve photo quality for a lot of people due to googles processing libraries, but generally snapdragon makes better photos than mark as you can see on the gsm comparison, only x6 is snapdragon.
