Does Flux know Disney princesses? Because, if so, why do we only have Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku?
The image is a photograph of a vintage postcard, with a hand-drawn style, reminiscent of early 20th-century children's book illustrations, on a wooden table. Featuring a chibi version of the character Jasmine from the Disney movie "Aladdin." The character is depicted in a seated position on a purple and gold magic carpet, which is suspended against a teal gradient background. Jasmine has large, expressive brown eyes with long eyelashes. Her hair is a deep blue and styled in a long, wavy ponytail that cascades down her back. She wears a gold and blue headpiece adorned with a large, circular gem in the center. Jasmine is dressed in a light blue, off-the-shoulder outfit with a matching blue headscarf. The outfit is adorned with gold accents, including a belt, earrings, and a necklace. She holds a small, golden magic lamp in her right hand, which emits a small puff of smoke, indicating it is lit. The magic carpet beneath her has a purple and gold design.

This image is a digital illustration featuring a young woman in two different styles. On the left side of the image, there is a photograph of her standing in a bedroom. She has light skin and long, wavy, reddish-brown hair. She is wearing a maroon long-sleeve sweater over a gray shirt, black leggings, and light blue socks. Her hands are resting near her face, and she is holding a gray scarf around her neck. The background shows a part of a bed with a brown pillow and a white headboard. The room has light wooden flooring and a white wall. On the right side of the image, there is a digital illustration of the same woman in a more stylized, cartoonish manner. She is standing against a white background with a pencil resting on the floor beside her. The illustration retains the maroon sweater, gray shirt, black leggings, and light blue socks, but the hair and facial features are exaggerated with a more cartoonish style. The woman has a confident, relaxed expression, and her hands are in a playful pose. The background is simple, focusing attention on the character. The illustration has a clean, polished look with smooth lines and vibrant colors.

This is a vibrant, highly detailed vintage postard depicting a lush African savannah scene. The image is filled with a diverse array of animals, plants, and landscapes. In the foreground, a large lion with a golden mane and a fierce expression is lying on the grass, while a zebra with striking black and white stripes is grazing nearby. A giraffe with its long neck and distinctive spots is also present, standing near a small pond where flamingos with pink and white feathers are wading. Further back, a herd of wildebeests, with their distinctive horns, are grazing on the grass. In the mid-ground, a herd of elephants with large, textured bodies and long tusks are gathered around a waterhole, where a hippopotamus is partially submerged. A group of gazelles, with their slender legs and graceful bodies, are also present. A herd of zebras is scattered throughout the scene, adding to the vibrant mix of colors and textures. The background features a variety of trees, including acacia trees with their distinctive umbrella-like canopies, and the distant horizon showcases a mountain range under a beautiful sunset sky with hues of orange, pink, and yellow. The overall atmosphere is one of a lively, thriving ecosystem, rich in natural beauty.

Find a picture in google that shows what you want and put it through joycaption so it gives you a prompt. This is:
This is a high-resolution photograph of a young Alyson lying in bed, captured in a soft, natural light. She has fair skin and shoulder-length, light brown hair that is slightly tousled. Her expression is calm and relaxed, with a gentle smile on her face. She is lying on her side, propped up by a white pillow that is slightly larger than her head. Her body is covered with a light grey blanket, which is slightly wrinkled, suggesting she has been in bed for some time. She is posing for the photo. Her bare shoulders are visible, and she has a natural, subtle makeup look. Her nails are painted a soft pink. The bed she is lying on has a grey, smooth sheet that contrasts with the soft, fluffy texture of the blanket. The background is out of focus, but it appears to be a bedroom with a light, airy feel, possibly with a window allowing natural light to enter. The overall mood of the photograph is serene and intimate, capturing a moment of peaceful rest.

This is a high-resolution photograph featuring a fluffy, red panda with large, expressive eyes, sitting at a wooden table in what appears to be a cozy Japanese restaurant. The red panda is holding a piece of sushi with its paws, which is a small, neatly wrapped piece of fish with a bright orange topping. In front of the panda, on a blue ceramic plate, are several pieces of sushi arranged in a row, including ones with a variety of colors and toppings such as green wasabi, orange salmon, and red tuna. Showing other diners and the restaurant's warm ambiance. The walls are adorned with framed artwork, and the lighting is warm and inviting, with hanging lights casting a soft glow. There are wooden tables and chairs, and a few other plates and utensils visible on the table. The panda's fur is soft and well-groomed, and its eyes are wide and curious, looking directly at the camera. The overall scene is charming and whimsical, capturing a moment of pure curiosity and cuteness in a relaxed, inviting setting.

kind of..?
https://huggingface.co/spaces/fancyfeast/joy-caption-pre-alpha/blob/main/app.py

or here is a chatgpt explaination:
In this code, the function responsible for generating captions for images is stream_chat. Here’s how the captioning process works:

Image Preprocessing: The input image is first preprocessed using a CLIP model. The CLIP processor converts the image into a format suitable for input into the model (clip_processor).

Image Embedding: The preprocessed image is passed through the CLIP model to extract its hidden states (image features). These features are then passed through the ImageAdapter module, which converts them into a format compatible with the language model (text_model).

Prompt Tokenization: The text prompt (VLM_PROMPT = "A descriptive caption for this image:\n") is tokenized using the tokenizer, and the prompt embeddings are generated. The prompt is essentially a template guiding the language model on the type of output (a descriptive caption).

Input Construction: The embeddings from both the image and the prompt are combined to create the inputs for the language model. These are then passed to the language model to generate a caption.

Caption Generation: The text_model.generate method is used to generate text based on the combined image and prompt embeddings. The generation is done with sampling parameters (do_sample=True, top_k=10, temperature=0.5), which control the diversity of the generated captions.

Caption Output: The generated token IDs are decoded into a human-readable caption using tokenizer.batch_decode, and this caption is returned as the result.

The actual caption generated for the image is returned by the function and displayed in the output_caption text box in the Gradio interface.

So, the image captions are generated using a combination of the CLIP model for image embeddings and the language model (a LLaMA model in this case) for generating descriptive text based on those embeddings.

This image is a postcard, vintage illustrated scene depicting a cheerful family gathering in a cozy living room. The background features large windows with a blue sky and fluffy white clouds, allowing natural light to flood the room. The floor is wooden, and a blue rug with a textured surface covers the center. In the foreground, a red sofa with a plush texture is the focal point. Seated on the sofa are seven family members, each with a distinct personality and outfit. From left to right: 1. A granny with gray hair, wearing glasses and a purple dress, holds a knitting project. She is smiling warmly. A young boy with brown hair, wearing a green shirt and red shorts, waves cheerfully. A blonde girl in a light blue outfit and a yellow shirt, sitting next to the boy, waves enthusiastically. A girl with long, curly red hair, wearing a red dress, holds a cat on her lap. 5. A young girl with short, black hair, wearing a red dress, is absorbed in a book. 6. A young boy with curly red hair, wearing a plaid shirt and brown pants, sits nearby, smiling. On the floor, a chicken hen and a cute pig with white markings are attentively watching.

for porn you want to use a local uncensored model. I only have 12 GB vram and use an uncensored 8b gguf llama model and it does mostly ok with porn, though you want to change the 'caption' in the .py to tell it to be more explicit and non-medical usually. there might be other smaller llms that do better for nsfw but I haven't tried 'em yet

Is there a way to train a model on faces and generate full body images, or would it just blindly create closeups regardless of the prompt? Basically, I'm wondering if you can fine tune the generation of certain features in an image without the training data overwhelming its general capability.

A prompt like "A door at the end of a hallway with a doorknob with a face" producing just that, with the face being fine-tuned to a certain person, but not producing a closeup of a doorknob with that face or a closeup of a wooden statue.

How much of a speedup is expected with torch 2.5? My lora training is only about 3% faster on a 3060. Did Dr. Furkan lie about massive improvements?

It mixes the models together. You get different outputs from the merged model.

i don't think they care, as long as it doesn't spill over into the rest of the board/site. frankly though, if the mods chose one over the other, there'd be some complaining, but ultimately everyone would accept the situation. sadly, the mod team is an oligarchy and, so, we're locked into split threads forever now.
>>
>>102268327
It does in the way it lets me merge them, takes 2 mins approx to process and gives me a new flux model. But I dont think I'm getting hugely different results on a contrasting model. I'll experiment some more.

SCENE: Interior, Joel Olsteen's mega church

JOEL is on stage, preaching "teh gospel according to satan"

JOEL: And that, friends is why you need to give me more money! SO Jesus will love you more! Can i get an AMEN?!

JESUS teleports behind JOEL, raises a finger to his lips to signify "SHHHH"

JOEL: HALLALUJA! PRAISE BE TO THOSE WHO DONATE TO MY MINISTRY!

JESUS winks at the crowd, which has gone silent

JOEL: I SAID CAN I GET AN AMEN?

JESUS is right behind JOEL now, mischief in his heavenly eyes.

JESUS raises his arms back, and in a sudden movement claps his hands together, exploding JOEL's head in an instant

Covered with gore, JESUS raises his arms to the sky and proclaims

JESUS: AMEN LMAO. You can tithe these nuts, kek

GOD quickly notices the shitshow and reverses events, dragging JESUS back to the holy realm

GOD: My son, I thought I told you, specifically, not to do that!

JESUS: Whatevs old man, lmao. ayo, these bitchass fake as fuck """pastors""" need to get BTFO, fr fr

1) What Advanced UI should I use if I want to replicate Novelai style and models?
I tried InvokeAI but I couldn't install their Novelai V1.

2) On Civitai, what's the closest model to Novelai Anime/Furry V3?
It's kinda tiresome to always look for a LORA of a specific character.

3) What exactly is a unet?

4) When you download a model on hugging face, do you need to use its config.json?

How is XL not appropriate for cooming? Other than inpainting, for which I still use SD, it’s better and has better models. What kind of stuff are you trying to generate?
Flux is a new model, but it’s worthless for coom, has a harmful license that makes finetunes difficult, and on top of that it’s massive, so it’s more expensive to do them anyway.

Maybe I'll just fork my a1111 folder and install the latest version and just fuck around for a bit and see what's available.

there's not really a lot to discuss, I guess. most of the flux stuff was explored already and the hype died down as many are waiting for some kind of finetune. people are baking loras but it's a slow process so not a ton of experiments going on, and personally I'm not finding the experiments I do try are very fruitful - flux seems a bit rigid in what it wants for lora settings compared to sdxl which was all over the place..

12b parameter is simply unnecessarily large.
the size of the dev and schnell models was only chosen to make it as difficult as possible for the community to get hooked and then pay.
>>
>>102272442
I have pondered this as well. This model is great publicity for BFL (Big Fucking L), but what does it really contribute in terms of "open source"?
>>
>>102272459
nothing, that is not the intention.
from a commercial point of view, it was a brilliant move.
we will also see this in other areas such as llm.
the history of the last 300 years shows one thing: capital always wins.
look at Linux, opensource, people work on it for free and yet it is the backbone of big tech and its shareholders.
whats better than exploiting people with starvation wages? letting them think they are doing something good and doing the work for free. gg

yeah that's the worst part, you'd think some grifter would hype a finetune in the comming months, but there's absolutely no clue anyone is doing it

that's the advantage of Comfy's spaggheti nodes, everyone can easily make their own node to fix his bad code, the possibility to pin T5 to the CPU is thanks to someone else's code/node, not because of Comfy
>>

that's better isn't it?
don't announce to the world that you're making an unlicensed finetune
>>
>>102272603
>don't announce to the world that you're making an unlicensed finetune
there's no reason to be secret, it's not illegal to finetune flux dev, you're "just" not allowed to make any money from it
>>
>>102272589
I completely slept on XL because I didn't have a good GPU. Ironically, I bought a 3090 for Flux, and I'm now discovering all XL has to offer after the honeymoon phase passed.
>>
>>102272585
>grifter
Least likely to finetune flux, can't even accept donations to cover training costs. BFL's license was deliberate and calculated, they don't care about open source except as a form of advertisement. Their entire business model is licensing, they don't have a SaaS, they don't have anything except the license, any finetunes would be competition for their business.
>>
>>102272617
>I'm now discovering all XL has to offer after the honeymoon phase passed.
SDXL had more than a year to get good finetunes, Flux only has one month, it need more time to be great
>>
>>102272636
desu they should be more lenient about their licence, like let someone make money through donation to do the finetune, but dissalow any kind of API competition with base dev or finetune dev
>>
do masking/upscaling nodes work with flux the same way they work with SDXL? i need to get educated on flux workflows

They took the wrong lessons from SAI's failures. SAI's SaaS is not profitable because they're overpaying for infrastructure, DreamStudio has no features, they don't offer finetunes/loras and only psychopathic masochists would willingly use the gRPC based API. Let's hope others learn a lesson from BFL's failures and realize a license-only business model is doomed to fail because your only customer will be Elon Musk assuming it's an election year and your model can generate propaganda.

They already got all the investment they're going to get based off their reputation as ex-SAI. Why would anyone give them more money now? The only source of revenue is licensing the model. Given Musk's reputation and the fact it's not labelled as Flux rather it's called Grok, how much do you think he paid them? Not enough to make them profitable that's for sure.
