Recently while using SDXL (and also the LoRA training script) my monitor will sometimes go completely black and, I assume, my computer crashes.In trying to reproduce this, it seems like opening or minimizing another window/application is most likely to cause this and, of course, it only happens when I am using an image generation model. Initially I thought it might be the GPU but when checking task manager, the GPU usage is not even close to maxing out and it's not running hot or anything. By contrast, my memory usage is quite high but still <90%.Could this still be a RAM problem? How would I be able to check?

When I was troubleshooting I intentionally dialed back the generation parameters to be the least stressful I could think of. No HD upscaling, single batch sizes, and 512x512 generations. I know that in the past I've been able to do significantly more than that so I assumed it was normal for my GPU to not be at all stressed by such a simple generation.

It causes even the web you I start up times to take 15 fucking minutes (on my set up) because the model has to actually be loaded into memory before it can be used. If the model or 1.5 or xl that would only take a couple minutes tops. But this one it takes several minutes. Training it or running it on websites like Civitai is it really practical either because both generating with it and training with it is absurdly expensive compared to xl and 1.5. The minimum price for a flux Lora is 4x the price for xl or 1.5. The worst part is that Civitai is likely actually taking a LOSS when charging $2 for it because it allegedly requires up to 80 gb VRAM, which actually tracks because whenever I train 1.5 LoRAs on my set up they typically take up up to 15 GB or ram for for something trained off of a model that is around 3.5 GB. I've trained flux LoRAs mostly just to experiment and to see what is capable of but I don't plan on doing a regularly because it's too damn expensive and impractical. It either costs too much "buzz" or takes too long to load onto my personal system. It's an amazing model but will slowly die off in terms of popularity (if it hasn't already). I told this people months before flux even released but XL and specifically Pony V6 and its derivatives are the only models worth caring about right now.
