I really like the NZXT H6 Flow and Artic Liquid Freezer III and Lian Li Galahad but it seems like their compatibility is reliant on unpublished motherboard specs. I really like the diffused RGB from the Galahad (pic related).Price target is $1800ish but I'll spend a bit over $2000 if it's worth it.
the 7900XTX is now $850, so there's no need to buy a 4080 Super.
>>102713675Buy the case and AIO you want, you don't get to build a PC very often. You shouldn't have to worry too much about board, AIO, and case compatibility. The AIO base should be compatible with almost all mid to high-end motherboards.H6 Flow is a relatively new case, it should account for the more common fan & radiator setups.

>>102713390>Yes, I do put my anime dolls inside.>Case? What case?
>>102713675I generally don't suggest AIOs because they tend to have worse cooling than air coolers at equivalent noise levels on account of the added pump motor on top of the radiator fans unless you dial the fan/pump speed settings back. Also the pump motor can fail, the coolant if they didn't treat it properly at the factory can grow biogunk inside that gums up the cold plate microfins as happened to some Enermax & MSI units not too long ago:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7uBkjehgQkAlso there's the issue of coolant permeability (evaporating out of the loop very slowly over time). However, that said if you do want an AIO make sure to get at least a 280/360mm or larger to firmly beat air as well as a case that it'll accommodate it (not a big deal these days fortunately:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDB3ZBHh5RkFor what model to get according to recent testing and checking prices on PCPP I'd say either the Thermalright Frozen Prism ARGB ($55) or ID-COOLING FX360 PRO ($60) would be your best bets on a 175W TDP AMD chip:https://www.techpowerup.com/review/id-cooling-dx-360-max-aio-liquid-cpu-cooler/6.htmlhttps://gamersnexus.net/coolers/thermalright-strikes-again-5690-360mm-liquid-cooler-frozen-prism-reviewCases are subjective and with AIOs the number of included intakes and exhaust isn't AS important but I'd still like to see 2x Intakes + 1x Exhaust for the GPU, Chipset VRM, Memory etc. since they won't get the benefit of extra air circulation from a normal CPU Tower Cooler. Also some kind of USB 3.2 Type-C front panel connectivity (your GB AORUS board picked out has Gen 2x2 speed headers).
>>102713793Chip development takes a long time, about 4~5 years.RDNA 2 and 3 were designed before people at AMD were able to realize the impact of hardware-accelerated upscaling and RT to a lesser extent. They weren't expecting DLSS to improve as well as it had. It's like Intel's Alder Lake and Raptor Lake processors being designed before Zen 2 CPUs with CCDs released.

I've seen builds with both but some fit and others need to be mounted cockeyed to fit and that doesn't seem very good long term.>>102713874I'll take a look at those. I originally switched to AIOs because I like that they have more thermal mass and can be tied to coolant temp to have smooth noise levels instead of jumps. Volume doesn't bother me since I wear headphones all the time. I think I'm just going to pick hardware and find a case that fits it instead of going case first.
>>102713969Buy one of the Lian Li O11 cases (Vision, Dynamic) or the 216 if you want better compatibility with the Galahad AIO.

The former will be an all-around good chip for both gaming & video editing thanks to Intel's IPC gains in the Lion Cove P-cores and Skymont E-Cores, while the latter will be the best gaming chip for a few years but still no slouch in occasional editing, see how the 7800X3D does currently. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-9-9950x/11.html
Hello anons, can you guys tell me what GPUs would fit my needs on this PC, please.CPU: Ryzen 5 7600RAM: 32 GB, 6000 MHz, 36 CL (Kingston Fury Beast Expo)Monitor: 24'' 1080p, 165 Hz (Gigabyte G24F)Basically, I want to play CS2 with a lot of FPS on performance optimized graphics settings (low resolution, low details etc.), I guess 300 or more would be nice to ensure stability. But I don't care about FPS in other games, as long as I can run it on 60 at high settings I'll be fine. I'm not a big gamer, aside from CS2 most of the other stuff I would play is probably real easy to run like Rain World, Spyro Reignited and such, and I am not following new releases. The only difficult newer game I would be interested in trying out is Cyberpunk. Also, I don't plan on moving up from 1080p.So, what GPU could I pair with my hardware to be satisfied? I am buying new, not used. Some people said RX 6700 XT would be perfect in the long term, unfortunately I can't get it anywhere, and 6750 XT is still a tad bit too expensive here so I'd rather not go over but under. So I guess the next best thing to it would be good enough? Which one could I get, 6600, 6600 XT, 7600, 7600 XT... ? Sorry if my question is a bit too long and retarded but I played on shitty laptops for almost a decade and I'm completely out of it all, I can't even eyeball what the performance of modern GPUs is like. Of course I watched some test videos but all these use different hardware, It just makes me more confused and unsure, so I'd rather ask directly like this. Any kind of advice would be great.

I have a lancool 216I did tests with fans on the bottom and they're fairly negligible, maybe one on the middle is worth using, maybe notI don't have hard drives so the space at the bottom is emptyI have a shift PSU so the space at the bottom is even emptier. The PSU shroud area is basically a whole space of nothing. There's this metal cover on the shroud that covers the area where fans would be mounted at the bottom. Should I remove it to have airflow completely unrestricted at the bottom? Does it even matter really? It'd be like removing the PSU shroud basically.

Are there any games even worth justifying spending more for a high end computer? I’m not planning to keep this long term as I’m only in the country temporarily (at the moment)

If he doesn't take it, he likely either hasn't been trying to sell for that long or he's holding out hope. If he does take the lowball it likely means you'll struggle to sell it back when you're leaving but at least you lose less

>>102717688PCIe5 and DDR5 are more expensive by nature. You need more, and better, metal to get enough signal integrity. There might have been some clever engineering hacks in the early days but PCIe 5 has been around since 2017 so manufacturers will be using them already. With that said, CAMM2 might actually help on the RAM side. Right now it is being pushed for the high bandwidth potential but that does give you more margin to play with when designing a cheaper board. Of course that potential will take time to trickle down into the low-end market so don't hold your breath.

>>1027204051) GN deal with many different companies2) 12vhpwr is (currently) explicitly a gpu connection that was pioneered primarily by nvidia3) Shitting on anything nvidia does gets loads of clicksDo you think the world is flat because you can't see over the horizon and as such assume the world just stops? Rhetorical question obviously.
>any chinkmade power drill can push 120 amps through the battery contacts with no problem, day in day out until the motor gives up the ghost>a company worth more than Germany cannot and/or will not engineer a power connector that can carry 50A without melting downWhere did it all go so wrong?

>>102720511Can be risky buying ram sticks separately like that but you might be aware
>>102720474GN does good quality and factual reporting I have no reason to believe they are doing this simply for clicks, Nvidia fucked up with the 12pin connector that is clear so stop being a faggot and calling it an AMD sponsored video and take your meds
would I be pushing it by having a 4070ti super and a 5800x3d on a 650w psu, will my balls explode
>>102720511Do not buy memory sticks separately, buy one pack of 2x 8GB or 2x 16GB. CL40 is pretty bad btw, get CL30 if you can at those speeds.CPU cooler is way overkill/overpriced relative to the CPU it's cooling.be Quiet air coolers don't perform well on AMD CPUs because the genius designers didn't supply an offset bracket to optimize CCD cooling.
>>102720567are you using your balls as your psu, those are some pretty high wattage balls, nice man

>>102720548I never knew there were risks, thanks for letting me know.>>102720569Someone suggested Thermalright, but I can't find any of those on the local market.
>>102720567Even assuming it's a quality unit, personally I would get something beefier just for peace of mind. Lack of power can manifest in really weird ways which are hard to figure out
>>102720388God intended that you hook your high end GPU to 3 PCIE power cables. Remember the Baldurs Gate 3 analogy. 3 can control the brain, 2 causes chaos, 1 destroys the solo
>>102720605Memory kit manufacturers test XMP/EXPO speed for the packaged set of modules only.In your list, that means the manufacturers only tested whether each of those sticks can run at 6000MT/s CL40.They don't guarantee the same stick from a different package will seamlessly work together when you try to toggle XMP/EXPO on.If you can afford the Dark Rock Pro 5, it's going to cool that CPU just fine, you're just overpaying for the cooling performance.Scythe Mugen 6 (dual fan) can be an alternative if it's available in your region.https://www.scytheus.com/mugen6dbe
>>102720559are you surprised to run into shitposts when there's so many nvidia shills here>>102720605what is your local market?PCPP has different countries to pick from, if you're from a shithole, give a site since you likely only have one or two places to buy from

>>102720749>I'll get a single 16gb stickDon't run DDR memory on a single stick configuration, you're reducing system performance. It's either a single set of 2x 8GB or 2x 16GB.A single set of two identical sticks.Exampleshttps://pcpartpicker.com/product/vmsV3C/kingston-fury-beast-16-gb-2-x-8-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-kf560c30bbek2-16https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cCKscf/silicon-power-value-gaming-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-sp032gxlwu60afdeae

bros... looking for a 32gb ram kit, ddr4. 3600mhz seems to be what to go for but should i care about cl16 vs cl18? lower latency is supposedly better but does it really make a difference here? im seeing cl16 on amazon for ~80€ while cl18 is ~60€
>>102721037Lower cas matters more on ddr4. Get the cl16.
