That bundle I showed is 300, 7600+32gb 6000CL30 + mobo is 550. That's 250$ for something that doesn't perform better (or if it does, only marginally). How to best clean out an old heatsink and fans to bring it to my next build? I flushed the heatsink with hot water, there's still some dust caked on that I can't reach between the fins. The fans I used q-tips to remove all visible dust, do I have to open them up somehow to clean inside?

that was my first idea. unfortunately the PSU on my device is unupgradable so it's pretty much at the maximum amount of power it will ever have (dell prebuilt with a GT 1030).

If you are using hard tubes or ZMT/EDPM tubing, you can get away with a few years with decent coolant.
Soft tubes you probably want to change coolent more often.

It all depends on the current condition of the loop. if there is nothing corroding or growing then the coolant has life left in it.

Coolent life could be near indefinite assuming everything is proper. I've only had my loop for 2 years so I can't speak from experience. I do know AIOs are literally mixed metal loops but have no issue with 5 years+ of use, no reason an all copper loop can't last as long without service.

Once I get my bits and pieces together to extend my loop, I'll see if XT-1 Nuke actually has a 5 year life
