11.11 edition cont.

Everything is already from China, but in here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.

1st rule of /csg/: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

The big toe clipper+small nail clipper together worth those $12 already, consider the rest a bonus I guess?
These are infinitely better than those $2 pure flimsy garbage clipper sets with billions of retard buyers.
>>
>>103152566
>>103152584
by sheer luck i bought a few chifi iems during Choice day a week ago which are actually slightly cheaper than 11.11

some anon said trump winning the election makes the dollar rise and thus negating the supposed 11.11 sale price
>>
>>103152719
If it costs more, isn't the dollar weaker in this case? If trump made the dollar stronger, you'd have better prices on foreign sites.
>>
>>103152736
or is it because wehn dollar is getting stronger relative to other currency, other countries outside the usa now need to pay more, because of currency conversion?

If your currency is strong, you pay less abroad. Since imports are done in the currency of the exporting country, a strong currency means you can import for cheaper while your exports become less attractive for the other party.
That's why countries typically weaken their own currency - to boost exports. I hope trump isn't stupid enough to think "strong is better than weak, I want strong dollar", or else he'll kill the US as an exporting nation.

When I see shit like this, I get the feeling that they want to be exclusively concubines that are being girly and bubbly till the day they die.
Without ever wanting to be bothered by their biological consequences of being an airheaded bimbo pet and giving birth to children repeatedly without any regard.

They would rather be living as daddy's little toilet girl till the day their hair turns grey and they are put into a grave at best, rather than be bothered with anything more complicated than her romantic and idealized existence of a handsmaid tale pet.
With so many lobotomizations, that she is unable to connect the dots why she gets pregnant, gives birth and has become a mother and even thinking about why the children are taken away or can even fathom or entertain the thought why there are new people in her master's home. that lool eerily similar to her.
Too busy living her eternally drunk blissful and pleasurable existence as a bipedal 3-hole pet, inhaling the smell and gulping down the seed of her master to even entertain the idea of anxiety and discontentment in her happy girly princess paradise till the day she never wakes up again.

Also, bought a 12GB ram and 256gb poco x6 instead of the 512gb pro version.
Guess It will help me get through until they drop support.

It's 5mm thick, 500x350mm big and about 1kg heavy. Other silicone pads are thinner 1-2mm and have some meme sorting pockets that I don't need. It sits nicely and securely on my workbench and doesn't get burned at all. Downside is that it catches dust which can be only cleaned under running water. Before that I was using cutting mat, it got burned spots, but was mostly ok. This is more of luxury item, not a necessity. I do lot of soldering these days.

If you wanted to be even more professional and cover your whole table, chinks can cut you this type of foam silicone mat to the dimension of your table https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007279937017.html

I've built a fake lego cars before
I would say yes if they've got someone to help them
The problem with the cheap lego is the tolerances aren't as fine, and with technic especially that can mean having to use a lot of force to put certain pieces together. If you don't have everything properly tight you can mess up functionality so you can't even get away with it. Plus the instructions aren't always as clear due to bad printing but you can just find the lego instructions online and use them, which I often did.
So yeah, maybe start with a smaller set first? It is good but I wouldn't say it was a pain free build, especially considering you can have missing parts too which halt the build unless you have spares.
Idk about that set but the parts can sometimes not come organised either, so it's surfing through 1500+ pieces as you build.
For the price, hard to go wrong. But for a kid, eh idk

Good good, he'll definitely be happy imo but idk if he'll finish the build. Some of that shit is tight and idk if a 10yo could do it. Just things to watch out for. It's so cheap it doesn't really matter. Even if he gives up and just builds his own shit from it you got a good price for all that lego.
>>103156240
>this is always how I built legos when I was a kid
It's moreso because if you have pieces missing you can't really tell, and the knockoff sets often have missing pieces. It's not fun looking through all those pieces and realising the piece simply isn't there

>i read earlier that camera shutters have a limited lifespan?
Yes, modern cameras are rated in 10s to 100s of thousands mechanical shutter operations (effectively shots), but there's always odd outliers both ways. Digital cameras track that, so if you're buying a used one, make sure to have the previous owner show you the stats.

>if i were to get into photography, what kind of costs am i looking at for all the gear?
Depends heavily on the format (film/sensor size), analog or digital, new or used etc. Decent digital cameras range from maybe $700 to $2000 with a kit lens included to get you started, but I haven't been keeping my eye on the market recently so my estimate may be way off.
>lens and cameras on ali - yes or no?
Lenses yes, cameras no. Lights, reflectors and such are great on Ali, tripods tend to be on the flimsy side, but perfectly serviceable if the camera setup isn't too hefty.

Trying to get into soldering but know very little
Would this tape be fine as heat resistant tape for when I want to use a hot air gun over a board but not heat up certain areas? Or is it going to be shit quality?

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007310995175.html

Are there any other good soldering things from Ali? What about flux?
plz halp
>>
>>103157416
The router itself does, but I haven't tested the functionality in OpenWRT. I can't imagine it not supporting it.
When using it as an access point, setup was relatively simple, I also enabled 802.11r and haven't had any issues in speed or latency across the house.

Sparks for two years and two pairs of Space travels for about a year have been in my daily rotation. Haven't noticed significant degradation though Space travels don't have a good battery life to begin with and rotating between 5-6 pairs of BT headphones mitigates usage and degradation of individual pairs.
In the price range of Galaxy buds, I can recommend Nothing ear as a great chink alternative/upgrade.
>>

There are plenty of types of flux but the one I linked is the one that works best for me on top of being cheap and not being another fake Amtech.

If you don't live in a third world shithole it doesn't take 3 weeks anymore. Most of the stuff I order reaches me in half that tops, often time less.
Some things aren't much cheaper but most things are, especially low value items. Stuff that costs a couple of bucks on AliExpress will regularly be twice that on Amazon.

Again, that's only the case for some things, other things are cheaper and there's also coupons.
Chinks don't really do Black Friday or, at the very least, 11.11 is their most important consoomer date.
If you need something and you see it for a price you deem acceptable, just buy it. If you don't need something and you just want to consoom, meaning you can wait for a particular sale, you might get that item a tad bit cheaper. Some anons here have seen a reduction in price on their shopping cart, I have too, between 5 and 10% before coupons.
>>103158171
Ah, so it's to brighten up the rest of your desk. Why not reduce the screen brightness? I get wanting to have a bright screen but if it's straining your eyes...
