You make a good point with the CPU. That said, I genuinely want to avoid air cooling as much as possible, and by that I mean stuffing a ton of loud as fuck fans into this thing. Phanteks has treated me well in the past (I own a discontinued case that they sold that I am only upgrading from because I know for a fact that the 5090 will absolutely not fit in this fucking thing) in terms of sound. Even under load my current case is quiet as a mother fucker. I'll pick something cheaper, but I am sticking to this because of the future water cooling and potential other power draws that could come into play at some point. more or less, just make sure you're buying Hynix 6000CL30 and you'll be fine, single/dual rank doesn't really matter for DDR5.
there are "easy" timings you can copy on any RAM with Hynix memory chips that will get you 99% of the performance of a fully tuned OC, works with both A-die and M-die but the former is generally better if you want to autismmaxx your PC.

Zen 4/5 CPUs don't seem to scale too much with memory frequency compared to Zen 3, but they're pretty sensitive to tighter timings (see pic rel).

6000CL30 is the balanced option as far as far as compatibility, availability, speed and price goes. DDR5 indeed does not matter that much, hence why you're better off spending any extra money on GPU and CPU.

It doesn't, brightness doesn't distort color accuracy on sRGB and the strobing has a static brightness.. I already own a calibrator so I can just 100% accuracy at 200 nits + strobing if I want to.

It has the least amount of cross talk even against monitors for e-sports that cost thousands of dollars. You really cannot go lower than that on the crosstalk and it's hardly noticeable in game motion even in worse implementations.

I honestly don't believe it can compensate, it might be actually worse since, as you've pointed out, there's no backlight so it has to perform a true black frame insertion which will make the motion be choppy, this goes beyond brightness reduction as a reason why it's not implemented there for sure. Keep in mind backlight strobing is actually magical, it reduces a % of the brightness inside each real frame, bfi has to add a black frame, quite literally in the refresh rate window.
And besides, already with strobing disabled, the viewsonic 1080p display is not that far from an oled display, we're speaking about 3ms g2g after all, perceptually I meant for a human, screen by screen - but for that matter neither the koorui one since it has similar g2g transitions.

put some effort into the former and you can easily end up with 90-95% of stock perf for 60-70% of stock wattage, with obvious benefits.
and for the latter, look into ptm7950 and thermal puttys. improving the performance of the cooling solution always helps

$300 on an AIO is absurd, 1300W PSU for $300 is needless. Other anons are right about the RAM, another $100 overkill. Rather sure you can shave an easy $500 off by being 5% more reasonable with your options. Have anything against the $90 arctic liquid freezer III 360? Or the $140 1000W ATX 3.0 MSI MPG PSU? Functional equivalents for hundreds less that are still quite premium. also the mobo Christ. I spent $500 in 2022 for the X670E Taichi to get all the features. There are no new platform features this gen yet you are buying a $700 board...why? The Asrock X870E nova has all the high end features for literally half the price at $350 and even some more than mine. Want a relatively high end board that will have everything you need for even cheaper? Pro RS WiFi, dual usb 4 on a $210 board. That's interesting at least. I just don't see a point in blowing more than $350 on an AMD board this gen unless you really like burning money or have a really really specific use case. Not to lambaste you anon, it's gonna be a choice build either way.

The AG400 is twice the price of the AG200, and the AG620 is more than twice that again. I'll likely stick with the baseline 7600, so the AG400 seems sensible I guess. The AG620 is rated at 260W, but I can't find any specs for power dissipation for the other two. How do people size their coolers, do they just look at the flow rate without taking into account the actual conductivity of the heat-sink? What the fuck?
