The output amp is plenty for modern in-ears and flatheads, and for a lot of mainstream headphones. All it's really missing are line outputs and SPDIF.

Bought simgot SM4 (actually found it locally cheaper than ali+sale) so got it pretty fast. I think I like them better out of the box than my aria SEs (both default and with EQ). Was very surprised that spinfit cp145 that were basically ideal with aria's don't fit that well with SM4 and I prefer medium tips that came with them... Ordered a bunch from ali fucking hope there'll be one that fits better. I've heard SM4 are kinda hard to drive cause of unusually low impendence but I have a DAC so I didn't think it would be a problem... BUT I sometimes use cable extension (around 5m) and when I plugged them in... yeah it didn't sound good - 2 times quieter muddy bass etc. So is there actual good 5m extension I can use with them? (not really critical but still)

The real irrefutable flaw of Harman is they used a custom pinna so technically you can't use their target on any rig. But individual variation at 5kHz is like 10dB so it might as well not even matter, just be aware it's individual. They just ended up on the wrong end of the spectrum.

Ok I'm going to keep this quite short.Fit is really good, some of KZ's best since the early semi-customs days way back. It's similar to others like the Libra, but has small tweaks that make it a bit better, such as the dip in the lower part of the shell so that it hooks on to the ear more. Looks are fine, better than usual but far from good looking. At least it's not a QDC connection.Sound is good and is very similar to the Libra, which for people that read my review should know that it sounded very good especially for the price, but could use some tweaking in the bass. Same thing here, everything is balanced and "generic".Channel matching is relatively disappointing for KZ, and is somewhat noticeable on my end in the midrange. I'm being picky here for this type of release. Distortion (104dB) is decent, but nothing great or even good.Overall, it's a good set but again, nothing particularly remarkable. Chances are you already have something very similar if you've been in the game for a while. It's a testament to the level of performance you can get at extreme budget prices, but it's hard to get excited.

It's a CB1200AU DAC chip, so anything with it should work with the app and have EQ capabilities.The DAC itself is unfortunately noisy. Using it on Android with the default sample rate and bit depth (48/16) results in very prominent noise floor and distortion. Switching to the advertised 32bit results in less noise and no distortion (which I'm assuming is a result of the Android audio stack) but requires much more volume to get to the same output. The noise is not extreme, but it is very noticeable during silence. Normal volume music masks it mostly.It's a decent device, and is a rather solid EQ option for those on a budget (around $5). I got my QCY Melobuds Pro today, I really like it so far, it got so many features for its price. Though sometimes when both buds are in my hand or sometimes when i put them into their case they make a loud beeping sound. It does not bother me as it doesn't happen when im wearing them but im curious about why that happens. Any ideas?

sound tourist here with a question!I have some chifi IEMs with a mic I'd like to use on my PC. They sound great plugged in to my 2016 iPhone SE and my current Macbook but when splitting the TRRS to 2 TRS for my PC usage the mic sounds HORRIBLE. I had to maximize the OS mic boost, add some further software gain and ran a RNNoise filter to make it sound decent but the voice pickup is still terrible unless the I mount the microphone to something so it rests in front of, and is directed, to my mouth (whileas it can dangle around just beneath my collarbone with excellent uptake and sound inserted in any of the aforementioned devices). I assume that I would need a preamp for the PC to attain the same sound quality?(babe paley sketch for eyecatching)

I'm glad to have found the USound target. It sounds much better than the Harman IEM target to me. The bass is a real game changer, it adds the warmth to the IEM that is really needed. It makes the sound fuller and more lush. I've noticed that BLON and lately KZ is really following this target.
