I've come to a conclusion. Cameras on phones is fine, but buying a phone for a camera is stupid. Good cameras can be obtained for $200. If you spend $200 to jump a model for a better camera on a phone, you are making a mistake. A good main camera on the phone is fine. But a dedicated camera will always, always, always be better and cheaper with regard to performance and will not exist confined by form factor.

And maybe that used to be the case at some point in the past. But I literally get more bugs and glitches in apps than I ever did with android, except maybe with third party unofficial shit like gcam on my xiaomi. There's even issues with system apps on iOS like the camera. I wouldn't say I did much tinkering, but being able to change your launcher, or torrent stuff on your phone, or hell even just getting cracked apps is great. It's called hyperbole buddy. Obviously it won't be 1:1 the same thing, it won't be iOS, probably the build quality will be a bit worse, the cameras weaker, etc. but at the end of the day it's a functional smartphone that performs the same functions, but for 400 eur instead of 1200 eur.
