Good news: I am a retard.
That 25 minutes figure included the time to download the model weights on first gen. The actual generation time on 3090 is "only" 13 minutes.
7 minutes with sage attention, though that doesn't work with this model yet. Hopefully kijai can get it working.

I am trying torch.compile and although it seems to work successfully (according to terminal logs) it is not producing any speed increase. Perhaps my settings are wrong.

Honestly at this point any kind of new research done on 1.5 is just a prototype, and we just have to wait for it to be implemented in Flux. Would love to see more midjourney functionality replicated in this way though, from what I've seen it looks pretty handy but no way am I gonna pay for it.

T5 is always active, I think. I really don't know how to deal with T5.

I want to be able to go step by step, with a VISUAL branching system, with the steps.

I want to SEE what T5 is doing (and change it if I don't like it).

I want to be able to change the prompt at any step.

Again, each gen I want to be a picture (the preview). It should auto-grow. But, I should be able to have it branch. So you have a preview tree and then final outputted images.

This will be tricky, because you have the # of steps, which dictates what the scheduler does, how it applies noise, iiuc

I'm trying to get a grasp of how it's all done.

I've not been able to get decent img2img going with flux. I don't know every comfy workflow I use seems to barely change the image until I get to like 0.95 denoising then it changes it to something completely different. My usual strategy has always been to make a base gen without a style lora, then img2img to add the style, but with flux I'm having to do composition and style at the same time.

diff would be great. visual diff, so like you have a reference wf, and then load another and you an automatically box in yellow all the differences, if it's just values, those turn yellow, a node, yellow, a wire, that's yellow now.

Yeah, it would be nice to store the buffer and resume with altered prompts and stuff. sometimes, I want to keep what's in the preview, but it changes a lot. It's a ton of work getting it (I think it's usually too much noise getting applied in the next step)

Basically total failure below the neck. Shame because it NAILED the face, the way she looks to the side to see if anyone's watching. The model seems to have understood without being told that something mildly transgressive was occurring in a public place. Very clever.
