Currently enjoying this Galaxy S24 FE so far

So for certain reasons, I need a phone that can record 4K resolution at 120 FPS without having to use slo-mo. I know Xperia 1 V, 5 V and 1 VI can do it, as can iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Does anyone have a full list? I have a pixel 6 that I just updated to s24 ultra. It was an ok phone but my mobile data was also spotty. Data speeds dropping to 5kbps or less at times. For shits and gigs, I revived my old LG v20 and swapped the sim and it has perfect data albeit the interface is dated. S24 data is even better. First time I've ever had 5G reception in my yard. Xperia phones are overpriced and their cameras are intentionally gimped.
LG is dead and at this point you can only find refurbished frankenstein scams on ebay/aliexpress.
Everyone else is busy trying to copy iphone or outright removing audio jacks.

I tried a lot of "bang for buck" devices like Motorola and older Xiaomi notes and they sound absolutely awful with the 3.5mm jack. Like there's a consistent hiss and the audio sounds tinny compared to what it sounds like in a proper DAP.

I've been browsing for a mid range phone for weeks and it's just so tiring, man.

I'm basically looking for a phone between 150-200€ which doesn't feel like a downgrade to my Realme 6 Pro from 2020, which I got for 230€, which I wouldn't need to change except if the main camera hadn't broke due to a lot of falls. Also the battery has noticeably weakened.

In general, it is very difficult to buy a frankly bad smartphone right now.
The few advices I would give you:
1. Avoid everything that is produced by Xiaomi, do not listen to those who advise Xiaomi. Any other Chinese brand is OK, except for Xiaomi. The reason is MIUI. Its malware.
2. Avoid phones for the domestic Chinese market if you don't know what you're doing. Get global version if possible.
3. In a general, avoid pixels if you are not an "enthusiast" and do not live in the USA. This is a developer kit for android developers, as a user device it is so-so.
4. Avoid Tensor/Exynos
5. Avoid very cheap (below $300) phones if possible. If you don't understand why you need an expensive phone, avoid expensive phones too.

There's different standards, which is why you see different colours on connectors. A cheap c to c meant for data transfer will probably not charge as well as a usb a cable designed for charging. It doesn't matter too much either way since most phones don't support super high wattage. what do i get to get rid of my iphone 7?

So, I got the Xiaomi 14T (non-pro) today to replace my Oneplus 7 Pro (that phone was a trooper), 499€ from official big boy box retailer. I couldn't be happier. Phone is fast, cameras are very nice and the flat display is bright and gorgeous. Even HyperOS doesn't seem too bad, compared to the experience I had when I briefly owned the old Mi 8 back in 2019.

At this price point there are few contenders. My other option was the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, but people keep complaining about an extremely buggy OS, plus the CPU is quite a bit slower.

Can some one help me understand my hate for google pixel better?

I upgraded from an S8 a couple of years ago to a pixel 7 and immediately hated everything about it. And it's strange to me because the only things I use my phone for are posting hate speech here and playing music from youtube in my car. Also my favourite mp3 player, black player kept breaking with every google update which my phone kept nagging me for. So given how little I actually use my phone for phone things like taking dick picks and swiping right, is my disdain for pixel devices justified or was it just a case of going from a really outdated version of android to googles latest surveillance platform?

See the thing is that it's time to get a new plan+phone and everything that's available in my price range with local carriers is fucking massive.. except for pixel phones. The pixel 7 was already way larger than I was used to and now I'm looking at the S24 FE and it's even bigger than that. I have really big hands, but I don't think I could get used to holding or carrying a phone that big in my pocket.

Will I hate any phone regardless of what it is because modern android is gay?

Also there's the issue of phone cases, all of these phones have glass backs or are impossible to hold (the pixel is so slippery it just shoots out of your hand like a bar of soap) requiring you to double their thickness with a phone case. For a phone that's already massive a case would be a no go for me. I'm actually looking at the motorola edge because it has a plastic back.
