Anons, I need you to shill me a 900000rpm violent turbo fan to choose. There are five billion variant of these, some with stepped speed, some with knob adjusted speed. Some with an integrated battery, some with removable Li-ion cells.Though the two most important things I'm looking for are:-it's not complete dogshit quality wise-it has a vacuum attachmentThe latter is so that I can also use it as a car vacuum since that would come in extremely handy to have on top of having something stronger than canned air that runs on electricity.
>>106442040It simply will not work as a vacuum. They are designed for high airflow, adding a filter will ruin that airflow and it'll hardly move any air.I know because I got one that came with vacuum accessories and I had to just throw them away.
>>106442648People buying blowers which can double as vacuums are huffing the same hopium as buying cheap air purifiers or 1L dehumidifiers. Designated e-waste.
>csg doesn't even recommend cheap chinese SD cards anymorehow the turn tables. have tariffs really affected this general this much?
>>106442648Alright then, if that's a bad idea, what would be a good turbo blower and a good portable vacuum for cleaning up my car and other small places?
Is it worth it to go the chink route for picrel? I just want a small pen tablet for whenever I feel the need to handwrite rather than use a keyboard. For reference this can be had for like 30 euros on amazon with next day delivery. From a cursory look on ali comparable stuff is around the 20/30 euros price point with delivery who knows when
>>106443169Look for Huion or XP-Pen. The Chinese have been shitting all over Wacom for years now. You don't even need to go to Ali to find a cheap drawing tablet.
>>106443169I'll second Huion, they're better value than Wacom.I nearly went with XP-Pen when I got it too, read good things about it.
>>106443188Yeah I already had an xp-pen variant bookmarked on amazon, ~25 euros and similar specs to the Wacom one I linked. I guess I can just go for one on Amazon then? the price seems to be in line with what I can see on Ali (same xp-pen model seems to be ~20 euros)

I bought this bike pump off Aliexpress almost 2 months ago and it already exploded.I barely used it 6 times (more like 4), but suddenly it just exploded while pumping and something flew off from its side. The pressure gauge could measure up to 140PSI, but I was barely hitting 35.I contacted customer service, explained what happened and gave them my email adress. Not sure if it was the store's or Aliexpress's, but the the chat interface is awful with insane amounts of AI crap.Is there any hope for some kind of refund or getting another pump? I know there's some fishing anons lurking in here occasionally.I've been using a carbon fiber telescopic rod for a few years, it was pretty cheap (for local prices) at the time; long story short I got a good bite by a pike yesterday and the tip of my rod broke. Since it's kinda not been all that special or great in the first place, I'm tempted to buy a new one rather than order a replacement tip and I'm pondering if aliexpress fishing rods can be any good.Part of me is skeptical, part of me uses aliexpress shit for shelter and warmth during hiking, and I trust that shit with my life, so what do I know. Are there meme brands where you know you're getting something very good for the price, similarly to naturehike or widesea for hiking, except for fishing rods? I'd pair it with a mid-market daiwa spinning reel if that matters (the one currently on my broken rod).
what are some tea related stuff I can get from Ali? I know jack shit of tea, but my mom is into it and I'd like to buy her something.
>>106448244She probably has all the stuff she would need to brew tea already so stuff like chinese infusers doesn't carry that much value. Maybe a bamboo tea tray.If she likes the autistic ceremonial approach you could get her a "gaiwan" which is a traditional chinese tea brewing vessel but they've gotta be used in a different way than modern tea infusers (and they need loose leaf tea ofc) so she might think it's too much of a bother. If she's on the more lazy "I just wanna put a tea bag in and stop thinking" end maybe you could get her a mug warmer.

>>106448324NTA but 70 is the daily check-in, and you get another 5 for using the widget for a total of 75.
>>106448427Oh right, all is well, then. I'm not placing that ugly shortcut. Btw how the hell they verify that I'm using a shortcut? What kind of glowie operation is that?
>>106448453I don't know how it works on the backend, but essentially the app knows where you come from when you open it, think of it like the tracking in a link header. You can get additional "boni" for gems, coins and watering game via widgets and they are universally ugly, as you said. Also for some reason the gem widget only recognizes that you're coming from the widget the second try each day. Honestly much like most activities and games on ali it's all not worth the effort. Just get your daily coin check-in as it's the one bonus worth having and maybe if you're feeling fancy do the gem check-in too (which means daily spin, daily cheaper gacha ball and then daily check-in on the candy crush clone as it gives gems too). Anything beyond that borders on mental illness. Arguably this is already deranged to do daily.
>>106448483Thanks. I think each shortcut is placed with some initialization parameter, which is then verified on startup. >>106453518I have been eyeing the knives and IEMs too, is the csg guide still the go to resource or is it outdated in regards to the brands?
>>106453618Depends on what you want. IEMs I can't speak to, I use TWS instead of IEMs. For TWS, scarbir is your best resource. The guide is still true in the sense that it explains conceptual stuff, but for brands it's outdated by about a year. That doesn't matter for some product categories, but for those where a lot of new products get released all the time it is outdated no idea if IEMs have enough releases to warrant that. There's a iemg on g though so maybe ask there. As for knives, you want to especially read the /ck/ knife guide linked in the csg guide and then decide what type of knife you want. My most used and daily driver is the shibazi F208 still, which I adore, but it's a unusual (for the west) shape, so I can't give it as a universal suggestion. In picrel that's the one on the right. There's also a lot of good quality steel with cheaper quality cladding knives out there that you can have a joy with. Same steel as the shun knive in that pic (on the left), but a quarter the price easily (or even less)
>>106453618>IEMsFor wired, check the /iemg/ rentry. I'd say there's older stuff not listed that's worth considering, but it's a good resource for worthwhile recent releases. For wireless, seconding scarbir. I'd take the specifics with a grain of salt, but if something's propped up on that site it probably deserves it.

And the other time I returned an amp that stopped working almost three months in, and it had a 90 day warranty which actually worked. >>106458019Titanium chopsticks make pretty much zero sense.Firstly there's no advantage titanium has over stainless steel at home, as the biggest advantage it has over stainless is the weight savings, which don't matter for you at home at all. The only acceptable exception is when hiking, but then the form factor of chopsticks becomes an issue, in which case you want to have chopsticks that screw together at the halfway point to make them easier to store - all of which are made of stainless not titanium.Titanium also is rather soft metal, so they'll get dents and shit over time, which will be nasty as it'll look like you chewed on them.Apart from that, they have the same issue all metal chopsticks have, they're not super pleasant on your teeth (then again it won't matter, as it doesn't with normal forks either), and they're more slippery, meaning less good grip to ingredients. If you want re-usable easy to clean chopsticks get those fiberglass ones, that's the ones I have.
>>106458106>a leather strap (albeit a kinda shit one)That looks dogshit and will break within a month of use max, more likely 2 weeks. You can get cheap straps though as part of bundles for under 2$, which are the ones I'm using on my aliexpress mechanical watches (one manual one automatic). Definitely will make your watch feel a lot nicer if you get one of those. For the future I'd recommend automatic watches, the winding up gets tiresome, but the ability of manuals to see the action from the back is mesmerizing I'll admit.
Anyone here ever used one of those 1€ if delayed coupons?I usually just ignore them because "delayed" tends to mean late by a day or so and unless I planned to order something anyways, a 1€ discount doesn't justify a new purchase to begin with. However this time I do have some more stuff I wanted to order, so it'd come in handy.Do I request that coupon after it arrived, or before while it's still in transit? If so, how/where?I got an email by my local carrier that it'll arrive tomorrow, so if I have to claim it before arrival I'll have to do it today, hence why I'm asking.

If I was buying a watch more seriously and not for the novelty I'd get an automatic.
>>106462160Ah yeah 19 is a bit rare, but you should still be able to find some, leather might be harder but the synthetic ones should come in any size imaginable. >but I mainly got this thing because of how stupidly cheap it was for a mechanical watchYou can actually get automatic watches in the bundle section by the "winner" brand for ~15€ though no idea if their movement is any good, last time I looked it seemed hit or miss with QC, so some got amazing value that worked perfectly for years while some got shit that broke within a few months. If you want an actually good movement, look into watches with a NH35A movement, there's a few to choose from. Picrel the third from the left is a tandorio with that movement and cost me like 45€ at the time. Been my daily pretty much. The second from the left is also great, one of those chinese airforce watches, a Chronograph 1963. Has some history behind it and while it's a manual, for 67€ it's still a steal honestly. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looks amazing in person due to the texturing they did on the watchface.
>>106359968The desk pad arrived in record time and looks great. It feels surprising how smooth it is when you sit down and use it, from a few feet away the rug texture is very convincing.Only two issues because I'm a nitpicking asshole; the string around the edge is fraying in one place, and the pad is somewhat shiny, not matte, so it reflects the sunlight from certain angles and seems unnatural.

>>106463634The battery pumps are supposedly decent, my father has one he takes with himself on his bike. Personally I just hate having anything that needs recharging, but if you don't mind that drawback it's great. Also if portability is your number one concern, that pump I posted is still somewhat large. You can easily put it in a bag or something, but for strapping it to your bike it takes up quite some space. Personally I use it at home to refill my bike (left it in the communal bike shed to farm good boy neighbor points), for actually on the go uses, I use picrel. Obviously not a ideal solution and not a foot pump, but it's enough to get me going if I need to. I also carry one of those puncture foam repair kits, gets you out of any pickle you may find yourself and at least guarantees you manage to ride home. Other than that, depending on how often you anticipate to need it, there's also those pump kits that use CO2 cannisters for mountain bikers. Very expensive compared to the other options, but quick (maximum airflow which you need to seat tubeless tires), easy to use and no recharging. Then again any use means you have to buy a new cannister and you only get as many tries as you have cannisters, so you better not fuck it up in the field or you're stranded.
>>106463634how often do you pump out your house anyway?you could get an electric one for your house and a co2 cartridge one for emergencies repairs

>>106463694That looks interesting, maybe I could work with that, but I'm not a fan of having to sit on the ground to use it (it can be a pain to get up).I don't really need a second pump, I want a single small one that I can take along with myself when I take a long trip or bring my bike to another city. I had several punctures in faraway towns before (big cities are all shitholes with trash everywhere, including glass shards) and I don't want to risk getting stuck. My other reason for a small foot pump is that I have no real space for a standing pump, but a nice little shelf for a compact foot pump.My bike is also rather small and has outside wiring, making it difficult to attach things to its frame. I use my basket to carry stuff.I'm okay with recharging things, unless I have to do it daily. I'm more afraid of the spontaneous combustion of the lithium battery.I've never heard of CO2 canisters and I'm 100% sure they're not sold anywhere. They're really not the solution for my issues. It's really a whole lot of combined reasons from health to lack of space, why foot pumps or battery pumps are the only workable solutions for me.Thanks anyways, I saved it just in case.>>106463712>how often do you pump out your house anyway?Very rarely, but if I get a puncture too far away from home, I'm literally stranded. I rely entirely on my bicycle for mobility. I want to keep using my legs as much as possible, as long as possible.
>>106463694I have this pump, it's about the size of a pack of cigs, and enough to pump my 700x40c tires about three times on one charge. 16 bucks well spent.
I hope none of you are putting your chink shit in your mouth.
mfw my packaged got delivered to a hub fucking twice the distance from meyou won this time changpackage in question is some gooner plamo
>>106464005>CO2 canistersthose are very common, and standardizedis used in many shit like airsoft guns, soda machines and many stuffbut nowadays go for the bettery powered ones i guess
>>106462306>>106462588correct, it's a thin layer of polyester fabric on top of the standard mousepad squishy rubber foam.>>106462234A little bit. It's mostly the glare from the light, the actual color under even lighting is decent.
>>106464497>and standardizedEXCEPT there are at least threaded and threadless ones.
>>106464497>shit like airsoft gunsOh no, that sounds dangerous. Here in Europe we outlawed dangerous things out of common sense and decency.

>>106464586i mean, i didnt say that there is a single standard, i was like saying that you are not usually locked to a proprietary solution. unless we are talking about motorbike airbag vests kek>>106464682man i am spanish...
>>106464005>(it can be a pain to get up)aint that the truth.Memes aside, it comes with a small rubber hose the size of the housing inside, which fixes the main issue of these hand pumps, namely that you have to hold them at an awkward angle to attach to the valve. That being said, the amount of air it moves is atrociously little, which is why it's just good for emergencies. Super small too (17 cm) so easy to store on the bike. For your usecase of taking it with you on vacation or when in another city for a few weeks, you'll definitely want something else, such as the electric ones you're considering.>I've never heard of CO2 canistersYeah they're pretty much only a thing in the mountain biking community due to their tubeless setups. A decathlon will sell them, but they're not really what you want, more of an emergency thing.>I'm more afraid of the spontaneous combustion of the lithium battery.Unless it's fully charged and you fall with your bike and it punctures the battery, you don't have to be, that product category is a fairly mature one. You'll likely be happy with that. >but if I get a puncture too far away from home, I'm literally strandedHonestly, you don't want to get a pump for that usecase, you'd have to patch the tire in the field too after all. Instead buy a cheap saddle bag and put one of picrel inside. That's a decathlon one but there's plenty brands that make them, called "tire puncture repair spray" usually. For schrader valves they are 0 skill "get out of jail free" cards. You screw it on, press the button, move the tire, and it automatically seals the puncture and re-inflates your tire within a minute. It works with some foam that hardens, so it'll fill the tube and you should remove it and get a new one when home, but a tube and a new spray is under 6€, a worthy price for peace of mind. This shit saved my ass multiple times already when I've ridden too aggressively in the forest in the middle of nowhere and got a puncture.
>>106455887bump>>106455903numatic ones look industrial. I only need it for a small flat
>>106456007I wonder where they get these models from
if aliexpress doesnt unban me they can look forward to me abusing their services. I never did anything wrong and they think they can ban me. No. No no no. Here i am being a good honest customer and they think i wont retaliate if they abuse their ban system?
>>106464998Expect ultraaids anthrax in the package after they find out.
>>106464852do you have dewalt or makita batteries?search for "vacuum makita" or "vacuum dewalt" and you'll find shell only vacuums which suck pretty well. price range around $25-35 and 6-8ah batteries should do an apartment easilyhttps://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008454903786.html
>>106465270cheaper herehttps://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008721300985.html
>>106464852Don't listen to that other anon and just get a robo vacuum, they are far too convenient to get something else.As for which xiaomi one to get I can't say anything sadly, but just check reviews I'd say.Robo vacuums also get sold used a lot in some places, worth a check maybe.
>>106462894Oh no, I don't regret getting them because they were fake or anything, but because I just didn't need the damn thing and it was money wasted.
>>106465427Put portable firefox on one.Now you'll have your configured browser + addons + bookmarks on whatever computer you happen to use.
>>106465728But why would I do that? What's the use? Is that a way to "sandbox" Firefox even more? Genuinely asking.
>>106464721>>106464005>>106463694>>106463634Fellas, I ride my bicycle to work and back every working day for the last 12 years and I used to get around 1 puncture a month, tried everything like thick-rubber tires and anti-puncture bands with little success. I haven't got a single flat tire for almost 4 years now after I put some slime in the tubes. Last week, a tiny piece of wire lodged itself into the front tire, lost some air, pulled to the side of the road, found the naughty bastard and pulled it out. Pumped some air back in and went home. This shit fucking works.Got mine from a local store for 8€, here's a link of something similar: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008554714392.htmlMine was enough for both tires. Changed old ones last June, kept old tubes with the sealing slime inside.
>>106464852Henry is pretty much of a classic home vacuum size. The form factor resembles shop vacs, sure, but size wise it's manageable.
>>106465956Yeah slime is basically what mountainbikers use. It's just a pain in the ass to get into the tubes, while the spray I suggested you only need to pump in there in the emergency and it's far less of a mess (as it screws onto the valve). If you're willing to fill the tubes though, or buy a tube that has it already, it's definitely a nice option.

>>106465794>But why would I do that?If you have a bunch of different computersthat you've setup to do different things for youbut you can't be bothered to download and properly setup firefox on each of them.So you setup firefox properly just once on the usb stick, and you use the stick from each computer and you need to do maintenance on them (eg: downloading stuff, interacting with the driver scanner, etc).>Is that a way to "sandbox" Firefox even more?Browser profiles on a regular firefox install is superior to portable firefox asin portable firefox you can only have the one browser profile in the portable firefox directory...Maybe you could have multiple portable firefox directories? One for banking, one for everything else. I haven't tried.
