Are there any monitors that exist with all of or nearly all of the following features:

>Non-OLED
>4k
>31in or larger, ideally 34-36in
>Supports hardware color calibration
>has at least 95% DCIP3 and Adobe RGB Coverage, ideally with both over 97%
>Supports VRR
>Ideally 72, 90, or 120+hz, but I'm fine with 60hz as long as VRR works between 30 and 60fps
>Is under 2000$ roughly, ideally under $1500 or even less
>Ideally doesn't have terrible response times

Or giving up on hardware color calibration, if the Adobe RGB coverage is 99%-100%?

The closest ones I've found are the Asus Proart PA32UCDM (perfect, aside from maybe the Adobe RGB coverage, but it's OLED and I worry about burn in), some of the Proart PA32UCX (only issue is they're 60hz and 5ms response time gray to gray, not sure what its VRR range is), the Samsung Odyssey G7/G70B S32BG70 (but it lacks hardware calibration, I assume) and the Gigabyte AORUS FV43U (which is nearly perfect, aside from no hardware calibration I assume and the fact it's fucking huge, 43in)

>>107130446
I have my computer on with static UI elements up for 16ish hours a day, I really wouldn't want to risk it, especially since the PA32UCDM costs $2000.

OK, that's nice. A thermalright peerless assassin mini gets exactly the same number of frames in every game as a 2x420mm custom loop while probably making less noise.

If you need HEDT CPU performance, there are multiple TRX-50 tower coolers which you can even overclock with.

Liquid cooling enables no meaningful extra capabilities over air cooling except physical density in datacenters.

No, because your PCI-E 5.0 x4 SSD is actually an M.2 NVMe interface. It's just electronically wired for PCI-E 5.0 x4 lanes of bandwidth.
Your PCI-E 5.0 x4 SSD needs to go into an M.2 NVMe slot.

You can purchase an adapter card to convert you PCI-E 5.0 x4 motherboard slot into a tray that can hold your PCI-E 5.0 x4 SSD and get full performance if the motherboard slot has x4 lanes of bandwidth but if you try plugging the M.2 drive into your PCI-E slot directly like slotting in a graphics card or something you're just going to break something becuse the pins aren't compatible.

Lads. My newly built pc wont start at all. The psu fan spins a bit when i press the psu power button. Same with the cpu fan. But nothing else works. Not even the power button attached to the mobo.
Tried reinstalling all parts but nothing happens. Mobo brackets ok.
Any clues? File size too large for upload here.

Whats the consensus for people who are looking to upgrade their gpu? If the 5080 super is around the corner is that likely to be a better price for performance than getting a regular 5080 after the super releases?
>>
>>107132465
Are you sure those are the correct slots? Basically every board out there will tell you to run dual sticks in A2/B2 and you have them in the A1/B1 slots
>>
>>107132475
>5080 super is around the corner
yeah about that...>>107131321
>>
>>107132425
What if I only buy 1 16gb now? Ram works with one stick right? I know there's a performance hit or something but I don't know how much
Will it really not be lower than this for a year? I might not even need 32GB.
If prices are back to normal in a few months I could get 3 more 16gb for the same price as 1 now

RAM will still work even if you've got 16GB of it.
16GB is pretty low these days. I don't think it's low enough to be a massive issue, but if the choice is between 16GB and 0GB, 16 is the better option.

6000 CL30 was the go to because you could reliably achieve those settings on 2 DIMM systems and those came with hynix a die for good OC potential. Going higher than that will switch to 1:2 divider mode for UCLK/MCLK by default. This will cause performance decrease.
1:1 mode for higher RAM frequency than 3000MHz is just silicon lottery.
If you care about min-maxing you should still manually set subtimings.
Changing CL alone doesn't do much in terms of real life performance so don't bother with finding kit with the lowest CL if you are going to simply use XMP.

ok /pcbg/ is time for a truth nuke, the ram shortage means consoles will be either extremely expensive or delayed which means games will continue to target the ps5 pro for the next 4 years which means that if you are happy with your current performance and not on something like an RDNA2 card there is no reason to upgrade. having said that now its time to be honest about the 5000 series.

If you need a new card the 50 series is neither, "overpriced" or slow , most of them are clocked slower which explains the massive OC headroom not seen since GTX cards in the mid 2010s.

>5090
30% uplift only 32VRAM card
>5080/5070 TI
comfortably a tier above 4080 super after you OC them, not quite 4090 tier though
>5070
4070 ti super performance after you OC it but $200 cheaper, in some games its 10-15% faster than 4070 super/4070 TI super and the sweet spot for high refresh 1440p gaming with DLSS
>5060 TI 16GB
a little below the normal 4070 outside of path tracing after you OC it, it still a 4070 with 16gb vram and more power efficiency, you can run heavily modded skyrim and shit like that with 8k textures or if you do maya or anything that requires 16gb and cant afford a 5070 TI then this is your choice, is around 25-30% slower than a 5070 but its still good enough until the next console happens because the ps5 pro is slower than this so it will hit comfortably 60 fps or above in 1440p with high settings for the next 4 years. if you want native high refresh rate and only do gaming maybe look into the 5070 if they are similarly priced.

its also country dependant if you are a neet that plays games more than 8 hours a day and live on a country with expensive power bills this will definetly help specially on summer, having to use AC to cool a room in which your gpu power draw is above 350W is a nightmare , i had space heater in the past the issue is that retards dont understand that what cooling solutions do is transfer those 350 W watts of heat to the case and then the case transfer it to your room.

What PSU would you recommend for a 9950X3D and 5070 Ti, with the option to upgrade to a more powerful GPU in the future?

I’m looking at the Corsair RM1000x ATX 3.1 and NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1, both seem solid based on the best PSU guide. However, I really don’t like the fan stop feature on the Corsair. >there is a button on the back of the psu that turns the fan to always on
On the Corsair there’s a knob, but its functionality isn’t clear. Corsair doesn’t state that it turns off the fan stop feature, instead they say it lets you adjust the fan speed up or down, which is pretty stupid compared to a simple button that just enables or disables fan stop mode.

>Also why dont you like the zero rpm mode, it just stops the fan when its cool and not under load
It’s better for electronic components to stay cool all the time. Fan stop just strains the fan and adds unnecessary heat cycles, since at certain load levels it will constantly turn on and off

Don't act like AMD will get more favorable GDDR7 supply contracts in the future, that's the reason why their Radeon cards are still using GDDR6.
AMD can't even get memory IC manufacturers to design custom chips like GDDR6X because Radeon GPUs aren't popular enough to justify the entire operation.

>>107135054

There's a point where TSMC customers will just switch to Samsung if the math doesn't add up.
Or they'll delay new product releases until Samsung and Intel can make similar chips.
>>
>>107136019
If it gets too expensive then companies move elsewhere.
There is competition from Samsung and even if they may be only 80% of TSMC performance, the relative cost difference when TSMC charges too much means companies might eventually tune their architectures for Samsung.

best deal I ever saw yet was s81sf for 500€ and g80sd for 600€
cheapest the 27" 4k panel has ever been is in the xg27ucdm for 860€ mostly hovering at 950€ which as you can see is like twice the price
cheapest I ever saw the 32" panel also

but, I kid you not when I say that software and monitor implementation is the most important things now in these oleds
or you will suffer eternally with shitty pixel refresh and jumping pixels

so you CAN'T even buy the shittiest cheap stuff which is usually AOC and shit, because they are pure garbage also
