Hello. Is it better to buy Gainward GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Python III V1 16GB GDDR7 DLSS4 over Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16GB GDDR6
or
AMD Ryzen 7 9700X over AMD Ryzen 5 9600X ?
I have money for only one of those two choices.

never buy storage and never sell storage, rather burn it than sell it
never get used PSU
never get used GPU if you can or for very cheap, especially after crypto

Things are fucked but those item prices are inflated because they are so old and out of stock now. You can find better, newer stuff for much cheaper. Nobody is paying $1000 for a 6800XT.

Except the memory. People are paying those prices for it today, maybe even more.

Oh for those drives a simple bit of kapton tape over the first 3 pins make them work as normal
I've got a bunch of old DC drives taped up. Really it only needs to be over the 3rd pin but taping off the first 3 is easier if you're lazy.

They removed this dumb standard in later drives and so that drive shouldn't have any issues like that but if it does just tape over the pin.

Root Cause Identified: Based on our analysis, it appears that H.265/HEVC hardware decoding may be globally disabled on your Dell 14 Pro Premium laptops, despite the Intel hardware being fully capable of supporting it. This is not a driver issue, but rather an OEM configuration decision.

What you need to look for aside from the cooling design is the power limit. It can be as high as 117% as in case of the pricy MSI Vanguard, the higher the better. Zotac Solid OC allows 115%.

Too much! For that money you should insist on a SOLID OC. It's not just the clocks it's also the larger vapor chamber that you get with the SOLID OC. The "Core" is not better than most other 5070Ti.
