thanks for the suggestions but here is what i'm up against. the rear fan is an intake (and way overpowered 3k RPM, thank fuck for fan curves), AIO is exhaust. I need to rig something else, don't actually need the rear air intake as it's an AP201 case so full mesh and lots of airflow. Does it make any sense to buy a cheap temporary mobo just to test the parts I already have in hand to make sure they work before the return window expires? Haven't decided on a motherboard yet but also waiting for MSI's 64MB board refreshes in case AMD decides to be a cunt about the 32MB vs. 64MB BIOS chips for Zen 6. Burn-in is unavoidable, but your habits can change how quickly it happens.
I recommend you avoid setting brightness higher than 70~80 if you're worried about burn-in; high brightness accelerates it.
That monitor shouldn't need the brightness to be set higher than 40 for 150ish nits brightness for its sRGB profile.

My QD-OLED monitor's accumulated over 3,000 hours of usage (used for work too), and there are no signs of image retention.
You can raise the brightness level a tad higher in a few years if the difference ever becomes noticeable.
