I've got wireless Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro+ that sound a lot like my Letshuoer S12s once you EQ them, also BT codecs as a whole have improved a lot over the years. XM4 audio quality was never really that good to begin with tbqh desu. I used to own a pair. OOTB tuning is a bit muddy and bass-heavy which can easily be fixed with an EQ, but then they'll do this auto-EQ thing when you turn the volume all the way up in order to protect your hearing or something so volume is artificially capped with no way to disable it. With Sony you're really just paying for the name and ANC. My Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro+ sound considerably better than my XM4s but the ANC is nowhere near as good, battery sucks and the companion app doesn't work half the time, though these were $60 and XM4 MSRP was around $200 IIRC.
