WebGL is so fucking retarded! There is no way to do GPU data transfers from web worker to the main thread. Only CPU moves and then loading them to the GPU context which stalls the main thread! How stupid!

I manage an auto parts store. I only make about $40k/year but I have no wife or kids or dog and I own my house and my car, so I have very little to spend my paychecks on besides my hobbies. Majority Claude but others as well. API calls because I don't like subscriptions and I prefer the model buffet of OpenRouter and sometimes I need to jailbreak the models for...reasons.
Maybe 2-3 hundred is a lot but I don't really miss it and I feel like I'm getting my money's worth for my specific conditions.

So it turns out the web worker based architecture was SHIT because the CPU copies were stalling the main thread for multiple frames. Now I moved to a single thread pure WebGL implementation and it's BUTTER SMOOTH.

tweaked the pop out button to be inverse, look inward when its in pop out. when its in the main program, its outward facing, and in the pop out, inverse facing.

next release will be a pretty good release. drag and drop support for segments, audio tab has the audio player in all its sub tabs and a reorder tab added to it to reorder the audio files in the file. and of course the video player now being able to pop out. also made the video player wayland friendly, so it can go behind the application.

Last week we have created a spec over a few days and after that ran over 40 agents to implement it in Rust over the weekend and no programmer could have achieved the same in the same time. Our software probably won't explode because we also had AI write extremely thorough tests and monitoring. The code sometimes isn't the cleanest, but we pretty much catch every problem and have AI fix it iteratively and automatically now.
