If you train for 20 epochs with 60M images, you likely get a better model than training for 20 epochs with 2M images, even if your captions are shit and the 2M images are pristine (within the realms of reason).The thing is that DB has 8M images, and you could likely come up with a good translation set to also bring in some R34 images under a unified tagging system to get at 10M ish. This is a good enough point, where you should maybe consider not going for 20M shit tagged images.

What are you using for the "img2img" upscaler? This setting influences how your inpaint area is upscaled/downscaled as well. I've been using Remacri for everything since forever, but after randomly trying out Lanczos I'm seeing considerably less noticeable color delta between the inpainted area and the rest, but the linework got slightly fucked. Will test this more, but was wondering if anyone pays attention to this setting at all.

Been trying to train a character with asymmetric features for 6 months, on pony. I tried locon, I tried DoRA, I tried huber loss, I tried dim sizes from 4 to 32 and even 64, hell I even fell for memes like Prodigy, nothing did the trick. I tried copier method too, using kk screenshots. I heavily curated the dataset myself using krita, removing wrong or bad features, etc. I even made specific tags for specific concepts to help the model isolate the features. The most I could've ever achieve was overfitting the model to the point it knows how to do the character facing the viewer very well, but everything melts and falls apart when prompting for "from side" or "from behind". I tried illustrious, same story, except I needed to halve LR's because the model learns faster or burns faster than pony or whatever. Wake me up when AI stops being so incredibly retarded, please. Or when we become free from CLIP's tyranny.

When you select a model in checkpoint droplist, it takes time to load the model. Sometimes, I accidentally clicked a wrong model and it's pain in the ass to wait for it to finish loading. Is there a setting that prevent model loading until you select generate button?
