Difference in arm length is probably due to the shield hiding the right arm and you winging it, but it still looks like a mistake since her right elbow is way too far below in your linework. Left titty needs more curvature. It's spiked, but that could only happen if her nipple is on that spot. Her right leg, her hip can be wider if her ass is turned to the left of the observer, however, the way you drew it makes it look like her leg starts way further from the side of the hip than her other leg. You need to move the inner thighs line more to the right since that leg would be more over her center line than the left.

Hey /ic/, I've started practicing again, I'd appreciate any criticism you could give me of this dog in a coat before continuing. I'm going to redraw it so maybe you can help me avoid some pitfalls. It's done with pencils, 2h, hb, 2b and 4b.I've developed a bit of a tremor in my hands throught the years so some of the messiness is from that, not much to do about it, I'll start drawing bigger.

Tracing is fine and it looks like you have the shapes down okay, but you might want to sketch a bit indicating you understand what's going on underneath, like what shapes are involved behind those lines you're tracing. Are you able to do a time lapse? What I said before about finding in the drawing still stands. You might want to focus more on that specifically than trying to get the end result to look "good" or accurate to the reference. You can work that out later if you need to. If you're looking for exercises (and I assume you enjoy drawing beautiful naked women) you'll probably get the most out of it by doing shape-based form sketches. Try to see if you can do that same one in 15 minutes, drawing 3D shapes for each part of the figure.
Still plugging away, fun seeing the progress, even compared to a month ago. Beginner gains are fun

i'm starting my first actual figure drawing book, is the correct way to go about it drawing all the diagrams/figures and taking notes while actually reading? or am i better off just looking at the pictures and skimming and going straight to doing my own drawings?
