Sketch of a dream I had. Me and a bunch of people were being tormented by these reality warping entities that would trick us into struggling for freedom in a series of "games", until we stopped playing along. They made like a all white prison for us and kept trying to instigate us to fight one another, and after a while of scheming and talking about some occult shit I don't remember anymore one of the people did like a ritual and became this thing to break us out. Might sound like nonsense, but it was one of he mot vivid and "real" feeling dreams I've ever had

hey that's pretty good, the forms are defined nicely
you could try doing highlights on the ceramics since it looks a little clay-ish
overall you can probably
>>7410176
for guns i would say just have good perspective and basic forms down then look at lots of pictures of them and copy them till you have a feel for it
most modern pistols and rifles are just blocks of metal with grooves cut, knobs, triggers, buttons, scopes are cylinders, etc.
also don't forget to draw the rifling if you have a view looking into the muzzle, it makes it look like you don't know how guns work
you could probably look around on /k/ for image sets or other sites where you could find images

Hello beg. First i would like to adress the questions from last thread
>check my blog for more complete work, there are tags and or rating to filter the ugly studies away and everything, also projects

>>7410217

>>7410211
too blurry to be coomable, but it shows promise
>>7410173
anon do you realize that painting is rendering right? the whole point of rendering is to add the OMPH feeling to drawing so normies get amazed and pay you money. You arent really training much if you call painting at this rough stage as finished. It is not like my figgies, because i am training how to construct / draw them. If i was training rendering i would have to try way harder on every single figgie (which i will start doing in a few days). Your stuff is still too blury and misses the critical details which makes painting fun to look at.

For this style of drawing, it looks fine.
My advice is to draw her standing still, and in a more exaggerated pose, like sprinting.

Sounds like a good next step. Gonna see if her ingame running animations can be used as a guide, but either way gonna do some studies on that stuff in motion. Probably should have done that here for reference already and not just use a mannequin for the pose, oops.

I took me a few tries to get the hair to look at least a little plausible, but yeah, still a long way to go.

you need to be able to draw two boxes. in any arrangement, position, and rotation. what it would take is up to you, but inability to do that will make you unable to move forward
>>
>>7410662
damn you don't know that bitches tend to have weird flexible elbows which makes them get that extreme looking angle when they put their body weight onto one of their arms
DAMN
>>
>>7410698
you need to get to a point where drawing a box isn't a chore

I think what's doing it for me is how thin her arms get at the forearm muscles. I expect even on a skinny woman the arm to flare out a bit there.
>>
>>7410733
"Ambient" light is the light that comes from all around. The sky, walls, etc. In crevices, the number of directions light can come in from these all-round light sources is more limited. It is space where the 'ambient' light is 'occluded'.

I don't try to d3fend sloppy drawing, but that is how it was supposed to work
>>
Where do I go for permission to draw
>>
>>7410754
Yeah. Kicking out the arms a bit can work or you can do it more straight down like in the ref. Again, the main problem is how thin your arms were at the joints, seemed too unnatural. Another thing is that even if it IS technically possible, you should avoid things that LOOK awkward at all costs since you control the pose. Other things being the leg on the floor needing to be bigger/longer and that crotch needing to be adjusted

Drawing one Makima every day for the month of December to see how much I can improve
Day 22: I tried even harder this time. I feel I did better with the hair this time. But when I was just going back to adjust the facial feautres because I noticed they were a touch too far forward, my pencil punched a hole in the paper. Oh well. I think its still better than last time. in both the hair, proportions, and shading

the adjusted version, paper hole and all. Might still look better even though its got that blemish. Would adjust the lips a little more, enlarge them just a tad I think. But I dare not mess with that area any further.
