This one is really hard. The legs especially. I guess her pelvis is lower on the back leg, so starts lower, and then she is raising it up higher, but it doesn't really click in my head and looks wrong to me even in the reference.
Had a lot of fun doing the arms, but kind of rushed the rest.

I'm going for 1h at the minimum, but average of 4h over the past 22 days(since I picked it up again and tracked my hours), though that's probably inflated due to not having to work for most of it. Around2-3h on a workday.

Nah, I'm not the type of retard that thinks the law dictates moral reality. A 23 yo man who goes out with a 17 yo chick is not an issue in most circumstances, and it ranges from there. It depends on the situation.

I think 16 is starting to get too young, but again depends on the person. Bellow that it gets worse and worse. And alternatively if the man is way older it gets strange as well, a 35 yo man and a 16 yo ain't right. I don't need to explain this to pedo apologists though, you don't have any moral standards, you will justify your lust no matter what.

The other anon has the right idea I think, but for the wrong reasons. The reference has a pretty muscular chest, but yours has a "basic" chest with small breasts, if you know what I mean. The massive arms on a basically untrained chest looks a bit freakish. I would either slim down the arms as well, or beef up the chest area a little.
Other than that, it's really good though and got a nice aesthetic with the half tones. Certainly nicer to look at than mine

- more attention to detail.

Yeah, I agree with that sentiment for the most part. Past like 23-25 that doesn't matter that much though. People are fully fledged adults at that point, they're not stupid teenagers who don't comprehend anything properly. Sex during adulthood isn't as massively changing to the brain(though it still is to some extent). Its basically this, at a young ages the brain(and soul if you believe it exists) are vulnerable to stimuli, and sex being the primal thing that it is is especially dangerous if introduced too early or in a twisted way. Those who seek to predate on the innocent youth need to be put to death.

Not bad at all. I noticed the line weight is inconsistent, on her sleeves it's very thick, while on the hair it's thin; generally, thicker lines are supposed to draw attention. I'm no expert on line weight myself but I'd guess it'd look better overall if the hair and face had lines of a similar size to the rest of the drawing. I do like the shading on the hair and body, the colors fit nicely and it seems done in the right places. The shading on the clothing, however, I find a bit dark in comparison which is distracting. Lowering the opacity of those spots should make for an easy fix. A suggestion I have is changing the shade color on the hoodie to a blue-ish green (this can be done with a correction layer without redrawing anything), as well as messing around with layer modes (multiply, color burn, etc.) until it looks best to you.

The straight angle of the belly into the sharp tilt of the ribcage is important in this pose since it leads into the angle of the head and shoulders and plants the figure firmly on the chair. You've straightened out her torso and head and that's having a flattening effect.

You've drawn the shapes quite clearly though and haven't petted your lines too much which is good.

A lot of pros on youtube do it for their illustrations. Here's one where he kind of explains why https://youtu.be/V_2eP7czPco?si=ZhCEplZd9EdBbbG8&t=236
In short, it's just a very rough sketch to get ideas out and be able to find the "best" one in terms of composition and pose. If you already know the exact pose you want to do, have reference, or are just going with the flow, it's probably less useful.
>>
>>7432215
Seems important if you're making a pic with good framing and meaningful placement of characters and objects. I rarely do those, as my ADHD self can't be trusted to spend more than an hour tops on any given thing. I usually just sketch shit and slap on color haphazerdly. Man, manbe I should just kms
>>
>>7432219
I'm definitely not really using it well either yet, I mostly just do a few similar poses, nothing nearly as varied as the ones in the video. But I think it's a skill you can learn, so I keep doing it.
>ADHD self can't be trusted to spend more than an hour tops on any given thing. I usually just sketch shit and slap on color haphazerdly.
Honestly, if you really can't work longer than an hour on something and taking breaks doesn't work, maybe try getting faster. It's definitely possible, and while it might not be the cleanest you can do, it would allow you to get further into the drawing. Just an idea.

Wrath of the Righteous is a shit game. The writers don't comprehend the meaning of righteousness, or even wrath lmao. It feels very safe and modernity-coded. "Crusaders" who feel like they could go on a rant on why diversity is their strength at any given moment. The combat and encounters are fine, rather enjoyable at times, but the vibe is just shallow and feels "fake". Like its pretending to be something it hasn't the capacity to be. All the game accomplished is some half assed progressive propaganda and ruining the potential of that name (which admittedly goes hard, if only the content did it justice kek)

shitty attitude, why are you satisfied with that? don't you have a bit of self awareness to notice that your drawing is inferior to other drawings posted here? why would you be satisfied with it if you can't spot mistakes? do you think you made a perfect drawing?
i'm a beg but even i can say that your drawing lacks precision and details, the head is a ball, and that's not anatomically accurate, ears don't look like that, the hair are just two yellow blocks with the ponytail defying gravity, the torso and hips are weirdly attached together, the lower legs make no sense and the lines are squiggly, the right foot looks like a stump and the hand is just wrong, also i believe that since one leg is bending and the other is stretching the hips should be tilted and one foot should touch the ground, they can't be both on tiptoes, the knee in the stretched leg is not accurate, the arm is a bit too long and looks too thin, it has a voldermort like nose
try the pose and see how hard it is to even stand still, it's unbalanced

I will agree that the story was massive downgrade from the kingmaker, where to the very end i was on edge about what happens next. Here the game felt like first they made the missions and then used story as a glue in-between them.

The most annoying is how fast you become everybodys hero: instead of a slow burn where you enter the crusader as a cannon fodder and keep surviving one after another deadly missions you literally just survive a fall into a cave, emerge from it and suddenly captain gives you missions with words i am the only dude who can manage it. lmao

And the biggest letdown was that you dont end up as a resurected kid of the main villain. That would be real kino ending and instead i got a lame: you are just my failed experiment. And then she literally let herself be killed despite knowing how OP she made me and having zero reason to stick around.

Good RPG with focus on the roleplay, held back by tone deaf story with nonsense in it. Why cannot dev studios hire / rent existing good books like witcher did?

Love you, Pawell.
You're gonna make it... eventually. To me those studies look already very good. The quality you output is oddly variable. At your best you mog me, for sure.

I think you need a project. All practice and no play makes Pawell a dull boy.

>you literally just survive a fall into a cave, emerge from it and suddenly captain gives you missions with words i am the only dude who can manage it
Man, you're making me remember how bad it really is. That intro was so blatant in how it tried to appeal to braindead audiences with zero attention span. Like they think if they don't throw something flashy and with the appearance of high stakes in the players face we'll lose interest. It shows they expect their audiences to be idiots, its shite storytelling. I didn't get too far into it as I ran into a game breaking bug, don't recall what it was. I do remember highly disliking how lame the angel path was.

Now, I suggest you try to get into Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. If you can get past the hideous aesthetic and difficult early game, they're amazing games. Probably had my favorite RP in any given CRPG, the ugly graphics activate the brain to do the job instead lol. I used mods for the first time I played, and I do recommend the NPC dialogue mod for the first one(despite some rather strange writing in parts, its good overall) and the tweaks mod for the second.

Would just tracing over a 3d model like this fuck me over as a permaprebeg?
Another example. Could it be used to internalize the proportions?

Interesting, I would never have thought someone with that level of understanding of the human figure would need assistance for the head.

>>7433257
I think for practicing purposes, tracing is usually not that useful, try to work the reference without drawing over it at the beginning.
>>
>>7433255
>>7433257
never seen a beginner be able to do it well, always looks obviously traced. will probably handicap your growth if you're a beginner.

Figures are good for getting ideas for poses or checking something when you get stuck on a certain body part or angle. But good ones are pretty expensive, all the cheap ones are chinese fakes that break very easily. They are annoying to pose and to keep them balanced. Taking photos seems like a good idea. Once you get over the novelty you realize it's mostly a gimmick and they aren't that practical.

Of course they work and are effective. Some pros make whole dioramas too, but who's got time/money for that. Pros use these methods to produce higher quality, finished works because they have deadlines and certain quality/consistency standards they need to meet. To effectively use them you need lots of different skills. But that's outside of the scope of beginners. Beginners should be focusing on actually drawing and building their basic drawing skills.

anatomical issues aside, am i using line weights correctly?
>>
>>7433522
thats blatantly untrue, practicing any skill even if it falls in the tier of "polishing turds" still counts as practice.
besides, the drawing is salvageable if proper effort is put towards it, dont be a crab & pyw.

I was thinking about tracing a reference then using that trace as the reference itself because I feel like it's easier to understand it when you see the actual lines

is this a no-no or is it a good idea?
>>
>>7433697
Sounds strange, but lets see how it plays out for you.
>>
>>7433697
probably better if you try first without tracing, then trace and compare with the tracing to see where you were off. i've seen some pros do that for student critiques.
