Since your subject has exaggerated vertical eyebrows, you mistakingly put their top at the brow line. Instead it should really be the eye socket. Your eyes are also too low compared to the cheek bones. Personally I suggest getting rid of the eyeline all together and instead eyeball where the bottom of the socket is, which is what Loomis himself does in most scenarios. If you draw a circle with her hip at the top and heel at the bottom it should give you a rough range of motion for a fully extended leg, or put the bottom of the circle at the knee for a bending leg.When we walk, we don't really fully extend the stepping leg until our weight is shifting forward off of the back leg. So you could try bending her stepping leg a bit at the knee. Try taking a few steps while paying attention to what your legs and body are doing. I've been drawing nothing but dragonball the last few months, but it's never simple studies. it's always got to be some kind of epic group shot poster that turns out shitty. I mean they're not the worst things on earth, but it feels like I should be better at this by now, and in reality I'm not actually doing anything that would help me to improve. I made 9 pictures this year and aside from the improvement I got when I bought a new tablet so that my lines can actually be smooth instead of chicken scratch, I really see no other improvement in things like color, rendering, anatomy, composition, etc. I'm just autistically doing the same shit again and again. And that's fun but it's really unproductive. May as well be smoking weed and playing video games. After this one I realized I don't want to post anything else until I notice some real level of improvement. No more big drawings like this. It's not helping anything. There's no shortage of ideas but when I look at Trunks' arm and that sword it makes me cringe that I made that.

hallooooi did this recently (picrel)is this alright for 2mins? im trying to get the flow of drawing faces and heads but its a little hardfirstly i drop a circle, its mostly to align other things to. then i draw the head-tilt line, which i think i got wrong here, after that i try to define the brow ridge or eye line, then follow the outer silhouette of the cheek, followed by drawing a mask of the face. then, i drew the rest of the head outline and neck, as well as the hair. finally, i measured out some proportions and drew the nose, cheek-indent thingies, eyebrows and eyes.Is this a good way to do this? i did it in 2 minutes which to me is fairly fast but im not sure if im studying correctly like this.

It took me a few years to figure out what sort of gesture made a difference, versus which parts of the body were a waste of time to depict if they can simply be suggested.(for telling the distance between things, use the negative space! :D )But yeah. There's a handy dandy chart I throw at people, since you're starting to catch on that drawing and observing are two different things. Eveyrthing you're talking about is pretty par for the course when it comes to drawing. You're finding out all of your weak spots. What you're supposed to do now is either ignore them forever or dive head first into making them the very thing you draw for the next several months. Most artists are a one-trick pony (figure out what your trick is), and very few are a jack of all trades (but evolve slower)
