>U.S. President-elect Donald Trump appointed Indian-American venture capitalist Sriram Krishnan as Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Krishnan, who will work alongside David Sacks, former PayPal COO and Trump’s choice to lead AI and Crypto policy, is expected to play a key role in shaping the future of technology and immigration reform in the United States. Among the reforms under consideration is the removal of the per-country cap on H-1B visas, a policy that could significantly impact Indian tech professionals seeking opportunities in the U.S.

There were the rumours of offering citizenship to people who serve in the military. France has a program like that, but it's crazy strict, to break the connections you had to your previous country. Seems to be effective, but I'm not sure if other countries could easily copy it.

those stick over the carrot methods won't work, because ultimately the immigrants aren't loyal and they simply aren't competent and skilled enough to bolster their special ops units. those have always been certain rural areas, high in patriotism, and those demographics have been annihilated and they aren't reproducing any time soon
they'll get "enough" to float the system for a while, but when it comes to the kind of good goys they want in their PMCs, that demographic isn't coming back because they sterilized it
>>
>>206012705
I wasn't meaning that it could work on a mass scale, because that France specops, are "the best of the best of the best". Not cannon fodder for the frontlines grinder.
Yeah, we've known for a few hundred years, that natural patriots make the best soldiers. Which is strange, because our governments have been running demoralization campaigns on us for decades now.
>>
>>206012796
>"the best of the best of the best".
i don't buy that now that france is brown and muzzie
they are so obsessed with their replacement migration bullshit that they're only just now realizing that they have basically permanently extinguished the pool of people that they need for PMC hitmen squads (because mossad always outsources their assassins)
but they're too obsessed with rape to just stop so they will ultimately crash their own empire

the only "patriots" around here these days are mostly old boomers, zoomers are sick of everything but even they can see that the right and left are the same. the only way to fix this problem would be decades of prosperity and segregated demographics but that won't happen so nobody sees a reason to get out of bed anymore.
even if they gave trump 8 years, it wouldn't even take us back to 2011 in terms of culture or economy. and anything less than early 20th century prosperity won't be enough to revive the demographic needed for ZOG to keep kicking for more than a few more generations

Very few actually gain citizenship that way. Way less than the unlimited amounts Algerians that they let in willingly, due to their misplaced belief that they're "French".
>the only "patriots" around here these days are mostly old boomers, zoomers are sick of everything but even they can see that the right and left are the same. the only way to fix this problem would be decades of prosperity and segregated demographics but that won't happen so nobody sees a reason to get out of bed anymore.
Yeah, it's most certainly a problem. I'd say that even if we could return to 2011 terms(which I don't think is far enough back, as Obama had already sown the seeds that are being harvested now) wouldn't be enough, because the people who are born here, aren't having enough babies.Though I'd imagine that it would partially be solved, through people actually being able to afford things. Still, I don't think that's far enough back.

We're not even supposed to see our faces as often as we do. We haven't evolved with this, so it can be as much of a negative to ourself, and it offers some utility.
Outside of making shaving super easy, there's not much of a reason for a man to need to look in a mirror very much. Since shaving doesn't actually need a mirror, we should actually avoid it as much as possible.
We won't though. We look in mirrors more than anyone else in history, including royalty.

>What do you think he meant by this?
That you don't really "get over" or become cured of depression. It's just something you get used to, and when you're lucky, put it on the back-burner for awhile.
>Also this?
A poetic description for the experience of depression's ability to hollow you out from the inside. The sun is something that burns bright, and causes all life on Earth. He's saying that he's the dark spot on the most important thing for life.
>I don't really buy the argument that every time a musician says some weird esoteric-sounding shit that it's actually just a metaphor or something.
So you'd interpret it, literally? That he's a magnetic field on a star, causing the fusion reaction in the star to not happen there?
Chris has always been very poetic in his descriptions of things. I don't think he's being esoteric. It feels very relatable to points in my life, where my depression was overwhelming.

Yes, but you're not going to be going to a river/lake/ocean, and look at yourself several times a day. I don't think you realize how often you see yourself in the mirror. Every time you go into the bathroom, and possibly in your room, your car, etc.
Normally, you'd see your reflection for a few seconds, maybe a few times a week. Tops. Assuming you were on water collection duty.

>>
>>206013365
You've completely missed my point. Even if you were on water collection duty, you're not going to be "navel gazing". You'd get a moment, occasionally. And the reflection in the water isn't always going to be a perfect(or near perfect) reflection of you.
While the mirrors you have in your house/life are far closer to perfect reflections of your image. Meaning you're seeing all the perfections/flaws of your face/body. It's not something we've been doing for very long.
It's still doing more mental damage to our egos, than it is making or lives better.
We've spent more time looking at ourselves in the mirror, than royalty ever was able to.
Cope all you want, it changes nothing.

2011 standards by the common person's perception would be a million times better than now but of course we know it was already very bad back then
that just goes to show how unfixably bad it is now
4 years of MIGA or similar "conservative" copy cats in other countries will not make things even one percent better, it would take decades of real concession for public trust to rebuild itself and more importantly it would take decades for the right demographics to be restored. that cat is never going back in the bag so it's just a matter of time before we hit another stone age with the birth rate crisis now spreading to even the 3rd world shitholes.
unless they have enough slaves in bases to use as genetic stock to keep their own genetic diseases warded off, i don't see how this doesn't end in everyone being completely fucked for a couple hundred years. that fancy surveillance tech isn't gonna be work for shit when its only indians and blasians maintaining it.
>>
>>206013277
It depends on what they're saying if I intepret it literally or not. I don't interpret "shadow on the sun" literally, it just sounds like some weird occult shit.

I think it's a mistake that everyone gives the orange man credit for this. He's not even a very good populist, just better than what was being offered.
I don't disagree with the rest of what you said though. Society's collapse is inevitable, it's just a matter of when. Will it happen as we get to the end of our lives, or a few decades later? Tough to say exactly. I don't think it's going to be stone age bad, but it's going to really matter on when it happens. I suppose if AI and automation manages to delay it, we could end up in the Stone Age again.
So long as the scientific research doesn't get lost(big If), once the collapse does happen, we'll start selecting for the most intelligent people again(as well as the least dying in ways we can no longer keep them alive), and they'll be able to draw from the discoveries that we've already made.
Which is why I'm a big believer in keeping personal and public libraries going. The more physical paper knowledge that we can keep, the better the future is, after the collapse. It's not going to be a 100% end of the world. But isolated areas, that are able to survive at a level around the late 1800s, so long as the area that you live in has the minerals to extract. Any location that has things like coal and iron should be laughing, because they can keep things like late 1800s farming going with ease.

i think you and i are probably going to be dead sometime around the mid 2040s since that's when they expect a micronova, or pole reversal, or whatever other bullshit that they built the bunkers for. but expect a bunch of fake wars before then and probably fake armageddon and jew beam.i really don't care anymore and i don't think anyone else does.
making everything pointless and so unbearably boring that they even drip feed our torture to us has resulted in most people tuning out to their kabbalistic theater
AI won't do shit but i'm sure they'll blame something on it, whether it's whatever they'll do to reset the internet or it's the big fake alien invasion or all of those at once when the poles finally reverse, i don't know but i don't really care
they've exhausted their cards at this point because nothing ever actually does happen except things get more boring and expensive

i always wondered how normgroids can seriously think the government could be as incompetent and malicious as it is while saying to us with a straight face there's ayyliums that could wipe us out in an instant and they have no solutions, so you must continue to pay taxes for gender reassignment surgery to pakistanis
even after whatever they built bunkers for happens, things will still probably go on. this is probably hell and some kind of cosmic quarantine. i'm over it.
nothing will match the beautiful libraries of the early 1900s and before then either. most information now is fake and not worth preserving. i am completely indifferent to the planetary plight

He sees that the other person has gone through something similar. Like when two people have an unspoken connection or understanding of something.
>Billie Eilish/climate change
The visuals in the music video start with a very oil-type substance that she, as an angel, falls into. Causing the fires and damage to her wings.
There's quite a few on the nose lines.
>Animals, evidence
>Hills burn in California
>My turn to ignore ya
>Don't say I didn't warn ya
>And once the water starts to rise
>And heaven's out of sight
>You know I'm not your friend without some greenery
>Your cover up is caving in
>Man is such a fool
>Why are we saving him?
>Poisoning themselves now
>Begging for our help, wow!
I'd say the climate change narrative is pretty clear part of it. The rest of the song sounds a lot like moral failing. So I'd assume she's trying to say that it's our moral failing for not taking the climate change issue more seriously.

>i think you and i are probably going to be dead sometime around the mid 2040s since that's when they expect a micronova, or pole reversal, or whatever other bullshit that they built the bunkers for
I don't believe in that death cult shit. I just think it's old fashioned incompetence that's going to get us there. The smart people aren't producing enough babies. The stupid people are producing too many. The smart people are subsidizing the stupid people's babies, so the stupid babies aren't dying off often enough. Eventually we hit the tipping point of not enough smart people to run a global society. Resulting in the isolated pockets of civilizations, ranging from various technological levels, due to having various useful resources near by. So long as you live somewhere that has farmland, and copper/iron, you'll have a tolerable life still. We won't have central air, chicken tendies, and HD streaming camwhores, but we'll still have the basics of what humans actually need.
>AI
If they can do enough advancements with AI and automation, they could potentially delay the collapse by another hundred years. Through selecting the smartest children, and giving them specialized education, to do one job. Such as doing a specific electrician job, but not actually knowing nearly as much as our current electricians. But it'll only delay things, and actually just make it worse when the collapse does happen. Since the stupid people will still keep breeding at the highest rates.
Though crime rates will also start to rise, because of all the stupid people not being taught enough morality. Mobs and gangs will be a normal problem.
>how normgroids can seriously think the government could be as incompetent and malicious
I think most people don't think the government is either of those. They probably think the government is greedy, but otherwise functional, then go back to thinking about whatever they normally do.

I don't mean learning from the most cutting edge woke psychology or sociology. But having books that point out things like the germ theory, and why it's important to wash our hands. Pasteurization. How to kill common bacteria. How to make a basic thermometer. All sorts of little things that we don't naturally think of. The Earth being round, and how to prove it. The Earth going around the Sun, and the Moon going around the Earth. Hundreds of years worth of math proofs, that humans spent a lifetime brute forcing answers for, until they noticed the patterns to find the proofs. Atomic theory. Electromagnetism. Massive chucks of philosophy/logic. Classic literature. There's all sorts of things that would skip us through hundreds of years of wrong answers. Even if we didn't have all of the proofs and justifications for why things are this way, having a resource, where we can be pointed in the correct direction, would still be crazy useful.

How does any of this relate to climate change exactly?
There are clearly a few lines you could relate to climate change in this song, but there are more religious/satanic lines. The oil is just used so she can look dark and edgy and have black wings like a fallen angel and so there's a reason her feathers burn off and become bat wings like the devil. The song literally starts with an angel being cast out of heaven and then her saying "my lucifer is lonely" and the songs name is "all the good girls go to hell". It gives off satanic apocalypse vibes more than anything.
>My Lucifer is lonely
>Can't commit to anything but a crime
>Pearly gates look more like a picket fence
>Once you get inside 'em
>Got friends but can't invite them
>All the good girls go to hell
>'Cause even God herself has enemies
>And once the water starts to rise
>And heaven's out of sight
>She'll want the devil on her team
>My Lucifer is lonely
>Walk in wearing fetters
>Peter should know better
>Man is such a fool
This sounds like the perspective of someone who thinks they're not a human.
>Why are we saving him?
Who is "we" exactly? How is Billie Eilish saving anyone?
>Poisoning themselves now
How are we poisoning ourselves exactly? Climate change is poisoning the environment, not ourselves. Again, it sounds like the perspective of someone who thinks they're not human, and judging by the theme of her being a fallen angel/demon and all the other songs/music videos/album covers about her being a fallen angel/demon, I would guess she thinks she's a fallen angel/demon.
>Begging for our help, wow!
Who is "our"? And who is begging for Billie Eilish's help?
>My Lucifer is lonely
>My god is gonna owe me
This is her calling Lucifer her God.
>>
>>206015047
The song is some Satanic homage to Lucifer and the Apocalypse, and yet another chance for her to elude to secretly being a demon (she does this all the time). There are clearly a few lines and themes that relate to climate change, but that's not what the song is truly about.

In the music industry, the occult/witches/pagan shit is all the rage.
>How does any of this relate to climate change exactly?
Did you watch the music video? She's representing a fallen angel. She's passing judgment on humanity. I'm not sure how you're missing the climate change stuff in those lines.
>The oil is just used so she can look dark and edgy and have black wings like a fallen angel
It can be two things, but unless you live under a rock, oil is the biggest thing that the climate alarmists are panicing about. It's very obviously tying it to climate change.
>"my lucifer is lonely" and the songs name is "all the good girls go to hell". It gives off satanic apocalypse vibes more than anything
Yes. Christians are saying that God made the Earth for them, which includes the fossil fuels under the dirt. They see no reason to be super worried about climate change, because way too many believe that the "end times" of Revelation, and the second coming of Jesus are happening within their lifetime(as all generations of Christians do).
This whole song is aimed at the western world, which is Christian. So opposing the western world has some very clear and obvious imagery and poetry to use, with Satan/devil/Hell/fallen angel/etc.
She's saying that she's in opposition to the west's lack of interest in truly saving the world. Because she's a rich woke retard, who can afford to have the most nonsense luxury beliefs. That's what happens, when you live disconnected from the common people. Your priorities aren't normal people's priorities.
>This sounds like the perspective of someone who thinks they're not a human.
She's an angel in the music video. I don't think this is a song that was written to be separated from the music video. I think it was written with the imagery of the music video in mind.
>>
Also, rising waters is a global warming thing, not a climate change thing. Climate change is the shift in weather patterns, while global warming is the average temperature rising.
>>
>>206015047
>Who is "we" exactly? How is Billie Eilish saving anyone?
The Angels, as she's questioning, which results in her becoming a fallen angel. Though converted into non-spiritual terms, the leftist elites who think they're better than the rest of us.
>How are we poisoning ourselves exactly?
Climate alarmists view CO2 as pollution. So burning oil&gas is poisoning ourselves, because it's poisoning our air/water/dirt.
>I would guess she thinks she's a fallen angel/demon
In context of the song/music video, yes. But a climate activist/leftist elite in more obvious language. A very common attitude that the elites have is that we're too stupid to realize what's best for us, and that they're the only people who know what's best for everyone.
>Who is "our"? And who is begging for Billie Eilish's help?
Angels/leftist elites. We'll be begging for their help, once we feel the negative effects of climate change in our lives directly. From their view, we're still ignoring the warnings, and not doing everything possible to reverse course.
>This is her calling Lucifer her God.
Yes. In opposition to the western world's Christianity. She's saying she's opposed to us, because we don't take climate change seriously. Resulting in her becoming a fallen angel.
>>
>>206015452
We want a meritocracy, because we want our doctors to not kill us, our engineers to design buildings/bridges to not fall, our pilots to not crash. Most people are well aware of their own mediocrity. I think she's not comfortable with the fact that we're pushing away from DEI, because she knows that she's not actually qualified enough for her position. They always want to think that DEI wasn't the main factor for them getting the job, and it was just them being on a level playing field. When what it really does, is lower the bar for them.
>>
>>206015675
Climate change is the new term for global warming, because people didn't take global warming serious enough. Technically, they're fear mongering with global boiling now, but that's still really new, and hasn't caught on yet.
When they say climate change, they mean global warming.

If we want to be honest though, the water levels aren't going to rise. Put some ice in a glass. Fill it with water, and wait. Let me know when the glass overflows. I know it, they know it, everyone with a brain knows it. That's why they keep buying beachfront properties.

Are you referring to the California wildfires? Because if they stopped fucking with the rivers, California wouldn't constantly be on fire.
If you're referring to the Canadian wildfires? Then especially not. It's literally because the provinces we doing fire prevention to enable economic growth, even at the expense of proper forest management of controlled burning areas to reduce the tinder. Added to that, the federal government, in all their Liberal stupidity, went against their reports. Their reports were telling them to do controlled burns in places like Jasper, to prevent the buildup of tinder/etc. But since the Liberals are retarded environmentalists, they ignored the reports, because they didn't want to look like they were adding CO2 to the atmosphere.
All of it resulting in a year of wildfires(last year). But even with all the governments being incompetent, it's still not even close to the worst wildfires that Canada has seen. In the 1800s, New Brunswick had 2 major wildfires, and no one gives a fuck about them, even though they were bigger than the ones we had last year, because they don't fit the narrative of global warming.

You see, once you actually get educated on what's actually happening, all the nonsense that gets fear mongered around, doesn't actually work on you. It only works on people who are unwilling to do even the most basic research.

If I actually experienced something supernatural, then I wouldn't lack a belief. I've played with ouija boards, tarot cards, gone to psychic, did one of those buddhist fortune rituals, looked into astrology, and spent time in a location that was said to be haunted. Nothing interesting happened. I'm aware of the ideomotor effect, that best explains the ouija board. Everything else was a bunch of goose eggs.
The only thing that I'd say that I believe in, without actual proof, is aliens. And that's only because of how many billions of galaxies that exist, with each having billions of stars in each of them. I only statistically believe in them. If it happened once in a billion billion, then I don't really see it happening twice in a billion billion, being an outrageous belief. I don't believe they've been to Earth, or even know that we exist though. Just that the statistical likelihood of an alien species existing somewhere else in the universe isn't that crazy.
I'm probably a compatibilist for free will and physics. Not a hundred percent sure about that one yet. I used to be a hard determinist, but I've read enough philosophy to have to accept that we don't know enough about consciousness to know that it's purely a deterministic system. If we don't have free will, then it's the greatest illusion that we convinced ourselves that we do have.

People base their belief in aliens on the fact that there is known life on one (1) planet. We've supposedly discovered over 5000 planets and have already broadcast our existence to any aliens within around 60 light-years of the Earth. Yet we have not discovered any signs of life outside of the Earth. Aliens don't exist.

The universe is vast. 60 light years is nothing. We're just now receiving light that left far away stars billions of years ago. Alien life might exist. But it might be so far away that there's no chance we'll ever get to encounter them
>>
>>206019217
5000 planets divided by a billion stars in one galaxy divided by a billion galaxies equals?
5e-15
0.000000000000005%
And realistically, that number is even smaller, because that assumes that there's only 1 planet around each star.
I don't think you understand how fucking small of a number 5000 planets is, when you compare it to the a billion multiplied by a billion.
1e+18
1,000,000,000,000,000,000

And that's not even the actual true number of estimated galaxies. The actual estimated number is between 200 billion and 2 trillion. So the numbers I used were actually crazy low balling it.
I already said that I don't believe that they know we exist.

PS: 60 light years is a tiny fraction. The universe is estimated to be 94 billion light years across.
6.3829787e-10
0.0000000063829787%

>claiming the universe has a finite fixed size
No one claimed that. No one in this thread, and certainly not scientists.
Just so we're clear, scientists report that the universe is expanding in all directions.
Now define what a theory is, as used in science, and not out common language.

Astrophysics is one of the most theoretical sciences we have. 90% of it is based on theories, telescopes, observing light, and the theoretical big bang that has still yet to be proven, and will never be proven because there is no possible way to prove sonething happened a gagillion years ago. People have faith in Nasa like people have faith in Christ.
>>
>>206020058
>that anything ever "started" anywhere
Scientists understand 10^-43 seconds after the Big Bang happened.
That's
0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds after the Big Bang started.
Talking about pre-Big Bang doesn't really make sense though, because we have no frame of reference. But the best guess is that it was eternally existing before the Big Bang, but no one's making any claims about it.

Now define what a theory is, as used in science, and not out common language.
I'm not convinced that you actually know what that word means, because you tried dismissing it all as "theoretical".

No they don't. People have faith in NASA like people have faith that when they put their trash cans out in the morning on trash day and come home to an empty one, the garbage truck has been around. Believing in something because you're meant to and believing in something based on objective observations is not at all the same thing
>>
>>206020340
Nigger, you don't even know what the word theory means, as a scientific term. Please stop talking like you understand anything in science. I've repeatedly shown that you're retarded.
It's nothing like faith. It's evidence. Just because you're retarded, doesn't mean it's faith.
Now define theory, as used in science.

Science deniers piss me off so much bros.
How can you say with a straight face that we should deny all empirical evidence just because there is an inkling of a chance that it might not be true?
Of course the greatest discoveries change what we thought was fundamental, but science deniers aren't looking at it that way.
>>
most science deniers are just christcucks or chuds, or both

Why do leftist egalitarian types deny and silence race science?

They know *just* enough to have confidence, but not actually enough to realize that they don't actually know anything on the subject.
The idea that some random idiot on 4chan is able to handwave away all of astrophysics and astronomy, with "it's just faith", is one of the most ignorant things I've read this week.
The sheer number of hours that people have dedicated to understanding outerspace is monumental. The same way that men dedicated their lives to doing crazy difficult math equations, to find patterns, to create proofs of math. There were men who dedicated their lives to watching the slightest changes into the night sky, and slavishly recording the data for future scientists to build off of.
But no, it's all faith. None of those scientists were actually doing anything. It certainly didn't result in us realizing that we couldn't explain the movement of planets, which didn't result in us discovering calculus, which most certainly isn't the greatest mathematical discovery of the last 300 years.
I hate Christcucks.

Every single one of their methods for determining the size of the universe is based on theories and theoretical mathematical equations.

To be fair, we're currently in a replication crisis in science. Where at least 50% of the soft sciences can't be reproduced, and about 15% of the hard sciences can't be reproduced.
It's not that we should dislike science, be we shouldn't immediately run to brand new research for answers. We're firmly in the era where peer review is no longer enough. We now need meta-analysis of all the research to have more confidence in the results.

Chuds say they hate science then turn the light on in their room

I mean astrophysicists don't agree on the size of the universe, it's unknown if it's infinite or how far it expands beyond the observable boundary.
We can directly observe supernovae and the cosmic microwave background so idk why you chose those

Because they want to "letter of the law", so they can continue to hide their socialism/communism. They're waiting for you to give a contemporary understanding of it, and then they get to reply with "but the definition is <tells you the original definition that no one actually follows anymore>". So they can keep subverting society.
