So essentially, when it's Winter in RL, I only read Winter based VNs, when it's Spring, Spring ones and so on. It's the most essential factor to decide which VN to read. I'm aware that there are seasonal tags, however they are VERY sparsely used. So my question: could there be one way to make this a more essential tag? After all 99% of VNs can be assigned a season.

On vndb, instead of searching for game tags I recently started browsing character tags and using the setting that shows the character portrait. By going for broad but appealing tags I found koikake and picked it up for komari yui. It's not a fullproof plan and early on in the common route she ended up having the least chemistry out of literally everyone in the story (but with the power of cute and getting some actual common ground and getting involved in her story things improved), but I actually did manage to pick up a VN that I'm actually reading through now. You really just need to narrow down what you're looking for and hope that the pictures manage to convey the general feel of the story to you. Also, by default, searching by character tags doesn't filter out inferior original language games so you need to hit that little plus button for more intensive tag filtering. It's also worth remembering that for whatever reason, launching the game takes way way more effort than actually reading them, so just launch something you fancy without thinking too deeply about it.

Is the Rea route in Dies Irae entirely new dialogue/text (starting from New Game) or is there a point where it branches off from the usual common route?
