This is a bit of a long shot, but I hope somebody here can help me find this.There's a Japanese tv show or direct to tv movie I've been trying to find since I watched it on a holiday in Japan spring 2017.I doubt anybody here will know it since it's the same stuff that gets posted every time there's a Japanese tv thread, but I'll ask again anyway.It's about an older detective guy solving a crime about some guy who was pushed down some stairs or something. I think he was a retired cop. He wanted to look cool with his shirt buttoned up pretty low, a little goatee, hair slicked back. Kinda fat too with that air of "I'm the shit" but it came off really corny.There's an older woman who everybody thinks is hot and is a suspect that he tries to charm too.There's a group of three other older women who want the detective guy, but they're "ugly" and he ignores them.He also goes to an izakaya and during the daytime and talks with the owner he's a friend with.There's also a ball or something they go to, but it just looks like it was shot in some random building foyer and a couple of guys dressed as waiters walk around with glasses.It looked like it was shot recently at the time, so not an old show.It looked insanely low budget. I can't remember the name of the channel I watched it on, but it was during daytime when I was eating lunch in the apartment I rented.It was one of those "so bad it's good" type shows/movies.I've tried in vain to find it again for so many years. I hope somebody here may know what I'm talking about.
