Nirainakai
loli sex
>>48027699her friend could lose some weight!
>>48028141No, she's a cute fatty.
>>48027944never played a koihime game, i see its one of those girls are warriors type of setting but where do the MCs fall into these series? are they fighting as well or are THOSE type of mcs that dont fight and are on the sidelines
>>48028973mc is too smart to fight
we are so fucking dead
>>48029453Tell him that *ninjas* never actually existed
>>48029479Heh, yeah right, next you'll say Samurai Yasuke didn't exist.
>マイブームWtf, couldn't japs use an actual word for this instead of one that they just made up.
>>48030367Every word is made up anon. You should try to understand the cultural context and nuances behind them. Or are you going to say Hercules is not a valid way to call Heracles?
k
the fuck does that have to do with 女子力?
>>48030843to be 女子力高い in this context probably means to not be such a heavy eater (girls tend to eat smaller portions)
>>48030843Do you know the word elegance? That's required for 女子力 and it changes a lot depending on what you call various things, even if the meaning is the same. For example お花摘み has a lot more 女子力 than 脱糞/排尿.
>>48031066I think the fact that the japs use バイキング has the opposite effect in this case
>>48031082Foreign words almost always sound more elegant and posh than the native ones. That's just a universal rule.
>>48031104It's the opposite though.
>>48031112Nah. Abilities to travel, learn languages, read foreign books, and all such things were always reserved to people of the highest social status up until just recently. That's the way Japanese elite imported Chinese writing system and all such similar cases in history. There are no successful cases in history when the elite of the country is proud of their native peasant culture.
So what is that sca-ji bastard working on right now? Any relases on sight?
>>48031331Sakura no Oto, though "working on" is rather strong word, lmao
>>48029479ninjas and kunoichis were real though??!!
need new kunoichige
>>48031331nijuuei remake or moekan 2, trust!
>>48031331He got his application to open a bank account denied because "unknown reasons" so nothingHis best bet would try to push for atri 2 or something after that anime
I personally separate my life to pre-Subahibi and post-Subahibi periods, as reading it has completely changed how I view the world. It taught me to appreciate life much more (or rather in a different way) than I used to and also be more honest with myself. It may have a similar effect on you, or it may do nothing if it’s not your kind of thing, but one thing is clear — you’ve got to read it even if it’s the last thing you do. My life has been an ongoing quest to discover life-changing works of fiction, and despite having gone through thousands of books, movies, games and the like, I have yet to find anything to even rival Subahibi. I’m honestly getting goosebumps just remembering it.
>>48031950there are works i unironically feel this way about but i would never post about it on 4chan because then people would make fun of me
Recommend me eroge with character dynamic/sex scenes similar to second part of this doujinshi.https://nhentai.net/g/30966/
>>48031355>>48031789>>48031913How does the dude actually make a living
>>48028973Baseson MC's typically fall into >good enough to fight generic bad guys, loses to any character with a spriteterritory
>>48033409when will the multicolour hair trend die
>>48033520Never. We've hit the limit on character designs without them.
>>48031331Philosophizing on Xitter.>>48033167Creation of visual novels with a strong creative and philosophical bent, painting and sculpting for friends for commission, and lecturing on philosophy and French language at universities nearby his visual novel making studio, and most importantly, the inheritance of his father who is known to have saved many girls around the globe from dirty scams.
>>48031737*ninjas* are pure fabrication, Shinobi existed.
>>48033520It was started by vtumors and now widely spread by chinese, so never.
age's roadmap for muv luvisn't this their third crowdfunding? I guess resonative and integrate won't be vn, and low cost srpg instead, isn't it
Was this new Nekobanana uploaded somewhere?
>>48035367oh my god this company is such a fucking joke
>>48035367Why would they go for SRPG when just making a VN would be cheaper
>>48035516Don't expect any business sense from kouki now
>>48035516Did you see tactics' gameplay? Unironically, I think their srpg shit using their gacha engine cost them less than what it would cost to have the same level of presentation as the day after or schwarzesmarken
sakuuta is soo long, holy shit, I sincerely hope I can finish before christmas
>>48035612Why don't they stop that anime-wannabe presentation or at least tone it down? I don't read VNs for moving sprites, for fuck's sake. Are there 10 people on this planet would be bothered by it if they presented it like a normal fucking VN?
>>48035367if they were also SRPG they wouldn't hide it, they're probably gonna make another attempt at a shooter after their last two failed attemptsthey're retarded, but there's nothing wrong with making a game
>>48035498if you're an eroge noob don't read WA2?
>>48035812Yeah, that's line 2.Next go for 3 and 4.
>>48035639In fariness, Muv-Luv needs all the moving sprites and stuff to convey the action. Their actual scripts are mostly dialogue. It doesn't need to be as fancy as schwarzesmarken, but it definitely should not be full of stills during the battles.
Anyone recognize the word デレンコ?The phrase is デレンコした身体.
>>48035867Yeah, muv luv as a series needs that to convey how frenetic the clashes are.
>>48035843What is inaccessible about WA2?
>>48035869Do you have a screenshot?
>>48036000
>>48036065出れん子 = no tits? As in 「出るとこは出て、引っ込むところは引っ込む」
>>48036065https://komachi.yomiuri.co.jp/topics/id/1085866/Looks like it's some sort of weird local dialect. It might have been more popular when that game was developed.
>>48036065Quick google search gives me this https://www.weblio.jp/content/%E3%81%A7%E3%82%8C%E3%82%93%E3%81%93%E3%81%A7%E3%82%8C%E3%82%93%E3%81%93Seems to be Ibaraki-ben. Probably means だらしない体 in this context.
>>48036169>a shortening of おっぱい出られない子Fuck, slang makes me feel dumb. Thanks, anon.
>>48036263Actually, flabby might make more sense, given the next lineThank you anons for educating my dumb N3 ass
>>48035978The fact that you’re supposed to play other Maruto games and Leaf’s back catalogue before it.
>>48036378Why? I think the other way around is better.
>>48035978femoids heroines
>>48036483You're not talking about Secchan, are you?
>>48035978Way too much drama for a beginner. If that beginner will like it too much then he will later have a hard time finding similar stuff. If that beginner will hate it passionately then he might drop the media all together.Establishing median expectations for a beginner is more important than reading big hits. WA2 is way too polarizing for a beginner.
>>48036531That's thoughtful, but I thought the drama wasn't overstated. Something like Muramasa could be overwhelming.
Damn, I certainly didn't expect this shadow nigga to dab on Mira-sensei. Or Henrietta, for that matter.
>>48036779Well shit, this is certainly a way to make it reasonable for MC to go for a different girl.
>>48035516Avex now owns the IP and has absolutely 0 faith that a visual novel will ever recoup its costs. That's why kiminozo all ages was crowdfunded.I have no idea why they think a game could work, but it's probably the small chance at creating a live service game that doesn't insta die.personally I don't give a shit about muv luv anymore even if they do manage to get stuff out, I've lost the ability to separate the art from its creators. It's very hard to not feel personally attacked when they decide to give the devs that ran an early access scam that proceeded to shut of its servers a crowdfunding campaign to make a new game instead of telling them to fuck off and issuing an apology
>>48037418The day after is fucking great though. I would like the story to actually finish one day. Kouki would get my money if he could manage to shit a proper VN conclusion for that one, but other than that I give no fucks about Muv Luv.
>>48037436TDA was great, but the people that made TDA aren't making the new one, there weren't even notes left behind for how the story was supposed to end so Kouki is making a new conclusion. It could very well end up great, but looking back at muv luv as an IP, he only really wrote the trilogy and TE. For all I know he ends up delivering a giant fuckup.
>>48035867there's no shot moving sprites and quick cg cuts should cost more money than it takes someone to just program that shit
lol
>>48037916anon... is that....!!!
>>48037916>shotage has the UI in hiragana to increase the immersionholy shit
>>48038695>shotageNah. It's just that one slut is a shotacon.
how is their banter always so good
>>48037916lucky brat...
>>48035504They sold nfts of "cels" of the muv-luv alternative anime. They're absolutely desperate, they NEED cash.
>>48036779>>48036872Another thing I really like about marriage is that each route is wildly different and after the first route of setup the other two can go off the rails and change everything up wildly. Also Chloe's route is basically just an HF reference.
Age gap romance VN recommendations where the adult MC fucks JCs or JKs?

>>48040185her face is "可愛いすぎる”?
New Setoguchi-gee when? I am waiting.
>>48042229Next year
>>48042913Insider-bro? What will the game be about? I hope he continues after it too.
>>48042937He's still young (46 years old) and visual novel medium is the most suitable medium for him to write in, so undoubtedly he will continue as long as he keeps getting funding.
>>48043019I hope so, one of my favorite writers by far. Might write an email some time to thank him.
>>48043054I thanked him by email a while back, but I never got a response. I hope he read it, at least. And same, I'm looking for similar authors. If anyone here had any suggestions, visual novel or not, I would be grateful.
>>48042937Anon posted his interview before. IIRC his new game in development right now.
>>48043143Yeah I read it but I didn't think it mentioned exact timings.>>48043092Besides Dostoevsky I haven't found any similar authors so far but I would be interested too.
>>48040085I'm sure Integrate would sell decently if they just let Kouki make it already
Anyone got Wiz Anniversary Complete edition?
Amakano is really MikoHime centric
>>48043692They knew who best girl was.
Sara
>>48040185I have this in my to-read list for her
>>48043692her sister is definitely not the central heroine in the sequel though
>>48043873I am not playing Second Season after, I will play Amakano 2
>>48044117Play it.
>>48044117Bad decision. This is the order you should read Amakano to Second Season to Amakano+ to Second Season+ and then you can go read Amakano 2. Also cherish and enjoy Piromizu's old style will you.
>>48044152Why ? Second Season looks more a filler for using the same backgrounds and setting.
Any romance games where a/the heroine has more of an actual character than the average hurrdurr moeblob, and is also a bit of an S and tease?
I spent 7 hours deciding what VN to play over the week. I still haven't settled on one yet
>>48044679Which ones are you thinking?
>>48044732>Semiramis no TenbinBut I don't like central heroine ge, I'm worried it'll be too much about her>Kamidanomi Shisugite Ore no Mirai ga Yabai.I always enjoy Cuffs Co. VNs, can never go wrong, but baring a few they're not the best VNs I've played>Gore Screaming Show3 Heroines interest me but I don't really care about horror storyge, I want more focus to be on the romance when I play a VN>PeriodSummer VN not thematically appropriate for October so I'd rather leave it for some other time>Or something else
"Okay, I'm gonna get a drink then read a VN" I tell myself for almost an hour and a half before finally sitting down to actually do it. I bet I'm only going to read for like 10 minutes, regardless of how interesting it is. I feel like it didn't used to be this way, but I have no idea what's changed. Do you guys have any methods for tricking yourself into actually doing something you already want to do?
>>48044776I don't have a method but I'm the same OP.
>>48044776>I have no idea what's changed. You're an old man now.
>>48044776Switch over to real books or web novels for a while, come back when you need a more emotional story.
>>48044776I constantly think about doing gang signs and making people's heads explode while reading regardless of the VN's genre. Makes things more entertaining especially when the writing is boring as fuck at the beginning.
>play Team Baldrhead kino>NG0 hardest difficulty>beat everything, even the optional fights>knock down an invincible boss>next is 3 bosses in a row, beat the first 2 no problem>3rd is insanely strong, fast, has almost no openings, has 3 crazy special attacks that are impossible to counter>10 hours and hundreds of attempts later: almost won a few times, but realize that the lower his HP get the less damage he takes until he's at 1HP and takes 0 damageWell that was a fun waste of time. The guide only said there's no reward for beating him, no word about him being unkillable. Yay? Time for a "victory" fap.
>>48045331I also have wasted hours trying to kill an unbeatable giga boss before.
>>48043611I think I do.Now let's see if I remember your post later when I'm home.
>>48044776Pretty sure you acquired brainfog from interacting with zoomers too muchIt's over for you

>>48046917>unravel trigger>criminal border 4>tomefure W >ouju no shima>select oblige>rising sun marriage>souten koihimeI think we've had some good ones.
Arisa's route finally unlocked. Dont like VNs that force you to do all heroines routes first for the last one.
>>48046939Select Oblige got fucking dunked on at least have the decency to say Secret Love (仮) and you're missing Tsumugi no Hanayome, objectively the year's best release, quality wise
>>48047071>Select Oblige got fucking dunked on By who? It was great.>Secret Love (仮)I left it and and Lovepical poppy out because they were both only 'pretty good'. >Tsumugi no Hanayome, objectively the year's best release, quality wiseI didn't play it, I thought it was another Hasshaku-sama.
>>48047057DC4? She's not. I actually wish she was the last route since the next one left a really bad taste in my mouth
>>48047071I enjoyed Select Oblige.
>>48047090>>48047107You enjoyed that red haired piece of shit's redemption arc while you and fat fuck found Nintendo 2.0 and the hot blond with big tits that wanted your babies trains under a waterfall with Master Wu to become a comical kung fu wizard whose fists of justice punch drugs off the streets? The scenario was fucking stupid. Eve's route was cliche but fine, and Kukuru's was completely outside the scope of a highschool bishojoge but it was probably the most fun. Kaname sucked ass because they built her up to be an untouchable S but in the first five seconds of her route she's begging for your sterile baby batter. Please, the world could do a lot better than Deselect Obliged to Finish the World's Most Fucking Boring Imouto Route. Madosoft can do better. Failing grade
>>48047323>You enjoyed that red haired piece of shit's redemption arc while you and fat fuck found Nintendo 2.0 and the hot blond with big tits that wanted your babies trains under a waterfall with Master Wu to become a comical kung fu wizard whose fists of justice punch drugs off the streets?yeah it was fun>Kaname sucked ass because they built her up to be an untouchable S but in the first five seconds of her route she's begging for your sterile baby batter. This is a good thing

>>48047354>>48047365I like that madosoft doing other things than Wagamama 2.0 which is Hamidashi. I fear that they're making Wagamama 3.0 in the mean time.

Damn, I certainly didn't expect this guy to pop up.
>>48049003Also I dunno, it kinda seems like he's more right than MC is.
>>48049023yeah he did nothing wrong
>>48049003>>48049023>I'm here to give you everything you wanted, your family, your happy life, your home, your memories>I hate what happened to you>I truly and deeply want to right all the wrongs this world has done to you...>YOURE ROBBING ME OF MY MISERY
>>48049088But neither you nor those who died will be the same anymore. To redo everything is simply to deny all suffering and hatred and to free sinners from their sin.
>>48049112I would simply take my happy family alive and enjoyable everyday with them over being bitter and empty every day and then rotting away because I didn't get the chance to kill the people who wronged me and instead watched them die a meaningless instant death, without ever owning up to or even acknowledging their sin
>>48049118The problem is that your beloved family is already dead and your hands are already stained. That's a dilemma that's dealt with quite a bit in fiction, but redoing everything doesn't undo sins. Your family has already been killed and tortured in the worst possible way, that is a fact that will never go away.
>>48049130Even if we set aside the conversation about the fact that you are literally returning to a previous point in time, before those sins ever happened and before your family was ever killed, meaning that "fact" didn't just go away, it never even happened - you're placing the value of the sin of your enemies over the weight of your daughter walking a miserable, black road of nothing but suffering for ten years. A road that leads to nowhere but death for her and yourself. And somehow the fact that you could, potentially, live with her and everyone else completely fine, with absolutely no problems, without even the slightest inkling of the alternate reality where it could have turned out differently, is meaningless because it's not "genuine" enough? Sin happens completely unnaturally and arbitrarily, but when it comes to correcting that sin your only option is to let the anger and pain of being a victim of it stew inside you until you're simply a shell that lives for pointless revenge? Wax poetic all you want about facts that can't be taken back in front of the guy who can genuinely take them back.
Alright, I finished the second route. Still ultra fast. The story itself is very good. But a bit more build-up could make things hit stronger.Though I really have to commend the writer for how quickly he managed to shift focus from what the first route was about. The last part is really questionable. And even in the last fight, it's played way too straight. There really didn't seem to be any sinister twist waiting in the time reversal plan. The third route. There's like a million things it could address. Will the empire every be relevant? Will Mira-sensei's and others true motivations be revealed? Are there even any, beside what was already said in the first route? Also they made it way too obvious that Fine is some sort of fairy too.
>>48049163There's still some surprises waiting for you, don't worry
>>48049155The problem with your argument is that you are putting everything on a scale. There is something called intentional fallacy that could apply in this case as it relates to the very nature of sin. Sin itself will ALWAYS exist independent of the sinner's intention or regrets. The clash here is produced by the mere intention to “correct the wrong ”. Correction in this case involves eradicating evil, not bringing the dead back to life. By redoing everything, you are absolutely denying all the sacrifice and suffering of your daughter NOW. You are redoing your current daughter and those 10 years of sacrifice she made for your sake. You are putting your own idea of happiness before the naive and innocent sacrifice she made to make you happy.
>>48049167In the first moments, it seems.
>>48049203The existence or non-existence of sin means absolutely nothing. You are not god nor is anyone else in the world, you will never have the ability to arbitrate or understand some universal sin even if you say it exists (yet you can't define it, because sin only exists because we exist, so it makes absolutely no sense to suggest it ALWAYS exists) What you're doing is choosing the realm of fantastic ideals over reality. You are enchanted by the idea of your daughter acting like an innocent girl because she watched her mother slaughter her family and then leave her to burn to death and that's somehow convinced you that the reality you're in now is more genuine and more deserving to be lived than anything else. Sure, were time travel not possible then living with consequences is an essential message, but we are talking about a situation where time travel is possible. This isn't even "redoing" this is moving to a point where it hadn't happened yet. Do you understand the sheer metaphysical and moral implications of this? If we follow what you're suggesting to the logical conclusion then no life is truly genuine because there are an infinite amount of scenarios where potential sin has been realized and by living in a state where it hasn't been we're refusing to acknowledge the sins ABSOLUTE existence. You're forcing all potential sin to exist at the same time, because you can't say that where we are now isn't just a reverted state of the world after sin at some time in the future. Because humans are not God, they cannot recognize sin that exists independent of themselves, nor should they need to.To ask you to defend your argument from a different angle: what is wrong with denying your daughter her suffering and sacrifice if it results in her happiness? There's nothing inherently meaningful about being miserable for 10 years. It has the same existential weight as living with your family for 10 years. If all you wanted to do is live with your family, but someone else forced you to suffer instead, and then at the end of the road you realized you could actually live with your family again, isn't it natural to just choose that? I mean that's literally what happens in the game, but instead of 10 years ago in reality it's just after everyone dies and goes to heaven. So somehow being with everyone in heaven is more justified than being with everyone in reality 10 years ago.
Goddamnit. I'm gonna have to see her head lopped off again do I? What a waste. Natore too.
>>48049279Let's see, I'm going to try to explain it using games terms. When you are playing a game and there is the possibility of raping and killing a heroine or simply rescuing her, if you choose the first option and then load a previous savegame to later just rescuing her, it doesn't undo the fact that you previously raped and killed her. This also applies to the story. If we are talking about a timeline that is single A and not multiple timelines B, C, D, etc. then it is literally rejecting the sacrifice of your daughter. By the way, here I am at no time excusing Chloe and considering her just a poor victim, for while she is a victim, she is also a sinner and murderer. The same thing happened to Lia when she discovered that she had killed her family with her own hands. In this case, the problem with your position is that for you happiness = living. Some people simply find salvation in death; that is the main point of this story. The story of revenge is simply a point in the history of a cursed country, and all the main actors are ghosts of the past. The only exception was Fine, but even she succumbed to guilt and preferred to simply sacrifice herself for what she felt was right. Dead people cannot and should not interfere with living people.
>>48049366Within the confines of what the story is trying to say, sure, however I am arguing that any rational person would choose what they want over some abstract idea about the nature of sin that they will never be able to perceive. See what you're not realizing is I'm not arguing that happiness = living, I'm arguing that when presented with exactly everything you wanted it makes sense to pursue that over the notion that dead people shouldn't interfere with the living. Like I said, if they went back in time, it would be to before they were dead. And so by your logic, since all humans will die, they ought not to make any choices while they're alive. To borrow your analogy, if you reload your save it doesn't change the fact that you raped and killed her TO THE GAME. But we are people, not games, and thus we have no knowledge of which routes were taken and if where we are is simply the result of a reloaded save. So when presented with the choice of raping and killing her or rescuing her, even if the game knows which of the routes have already been taken, you as the human will never know. So how can you let the possibility that you've already taken one route influence the route you take now, if you can never know that information? Your argument works from the perspective of god (in this case the scenario writer), but it's utterly nonsensical from the perspective of individual humans.
>>48049366>>48049401I thought about it for a few moments and for me it comes down to what I said here. >>48049163In the game, it really seems to be presented as 1. it would work2. オンベルト doesn't have any side intentionsWith that in mind, the MC and Chloe's refusal seems unreasonable. Or at least, definitely not reasoned well enough.Imo one of the most impressive things fiction can do is persuade you to accept viewpoints you wouldn't normally accept. Basically, if the writer really managed to write it in a way that MC and Chloe seemed somehow reasonable, I'd be calling it one of the best routes ever, not merely "good, but..."
>>48049401Exactly, we are not gods, and precisely because we are not gods, we should not cross the limits of god to bring the dead back to life. Another problem that lies in your approach, is that you see it from your own individual perspective as someone oblivious to what it is like to lose your entire family and live a life of hatred and resentment. Many of the anons on this site are completely broken after only 1 year of isolation, can you imagine what 10 years of accumulated hatred will do to your head and heart? the most sensible option for someone in that perspective, is to just die and rest. Exactly, you may not know the decision you made on an alternative route, but before you make the decision, that is NOW you have all that information and you know the implication of loading that savegame. Again, this game is about ghosts from the past who are tired of fighting and just want to rest. Your idea of happiness is conditioned by your own idea of happiness by putting your own conception of happiness first.
>>48049446>can you imagine what 10 years of accumulated hatred will do to your head and heartNeither you nor I can
>>48049443It's a damn good route. That we can have this discussion with this other anon in spite of our clear discrepancies in perspective is proof of that. Chloe was perfectly written to portray that clash between lost innocence and despair. It's a route where the eternal debate between logic and emotion prevails. Logically it may seem right, but emotionally it is not. Although obviously there is also an obvious discrepancy in the deeper values between the characters.

>>48051043Did you read the last part?
>>48051094You mean the part where he says "IF the writer had managed to make their choice convincing, I WOULD HAVE said it was one of the best routes ever "
>>48051130Yeah, that followed my statement that it's actually a damn good route.
>>48051138Preceded?Anyway, I don't think anyone was calling into question how good the route is.
>>48051175Mh...? it was more in response to that “but” questioning sreng and chloe's choice and not understanding the clash of ideals between sreng and onbelt. In this case, sreng stands up for what he believes is right, while onbelt was simply trying to impose what he believes is right ( onbelt is basically someone defending the ending of a certain recent manga). I don't quite understand the point of your posts.
>>48051217You understand that Slen and Onbelt are doing the same thing, right? There's no objective difference between standing up for your ideals and imposing them. Slen's "noble choice" was to selfishly rob his country of every means it had to defend itself entirely for the sake of his personal grudge. It's not different in any way from Onbelt wanting to impose his own selfish apology on Slen, the only difference is in his version Slen gets everything he ever wanted and the country could still potentially protect itself.
>>48051305I think it would be important to mention in that case that the very nature of revenge and retribution was quite well explained in the conversations between sreng and onbelt. In this case it is not robbery, it is simply taking back in a legitimate way what was previously stolen from you. There is a big difference between wanting to free the members of your family from the torture of being mere unwilling puppets to the orders of the kingdom and accepting the will of those victims to simply want to rest and someone else imposing on you what he believes is right. So again, if you have read all the routes you will understand that this supposed perfect plan is simply an unfounded conjecture that will fail one way or another.
>>48051342You keep completely ignoring what I'm saying. I never said the plan was perfect, not did I say anything about what was best FOR THE GAME. I keep saying, in practically every single post, that I'm saying anyone in Slen's position would have absolutely no rational reason to choose 10 years of empty embitterment and hatred over everything they wanted in life. I can't continue this conversation if you're simply going to use my posts as an opportunity to talk to yourself
>>48051362Anon, sreng himself explained that in the game... that's why I don't understand why this discussion has been extended so much... even onbelt understood the reasoning that led him to reject his offer... asahimari is a story that draws heavily on fate in every way and the whole conflict of values is very fate zero. At least I can understand that you really are a fan of onbelt.
>>48051426All of the characters in the game are the voice of the writer. The flaw is not with the logic inside the game, but with the scenario itself.
>>48051521No, they're the voice of themselves.

I have a technical question about the average kirikiri game. Most of them have separate files for saveslots, read text and settings. So I have a few moege with routes that unlock after finishing 1/4/all routes and it's annoying. I plan to read all routes anyway but I want to read short side routes before less interesting heroines. My question is this. If I use an online save to unlock the routes and save at the start of it, then swap back to my own save, would that break anything? My understanding of kirikiri scripts is that it should mark the read text normally and unlock CGs and scenes too. All the route locks and checks happen before the route, so that shouldn't be touched and the unlocks are parameters that change at the end of the other routes. So ideally nothing should fuck up. Has anyone ever done this?

Finally got around to finishing up Silverio Trinity. Definitely another amazing game and about as good as a sequel as you can do for something that was already great. Echoing what everyone previously told me, it was definitely a much more balanced game in terms of routes. Nothing felt like an obligatory jobber route which is something chuuni games usually have. Everything felt pretty high stakes and all the endings were conclusive enough in their own right. As far as more protagonists go, I tend to prefer the delinquent types so Zephyr in Vendetta was more entertaining to me than Ash who is a massive goody two-shoes. But he grew on me as time went on especially with the whole past reveal and everything. Naive and idealistic, but he grows and becomes a respectable guy. Good old coming of age stuff. You can never go wrong with that.On the heroine front, I'll again echo the popular sentiment that Vendetta and Chitose outclass everyone in Trinity. But the three girls aren't bad at all. They're quite good in their own right and I found Rain to be extremely adorable. What's more moe than becoming as strong as you can so next time you can protect your loved one? Like the game title hints at, the strength isn't so much the character's individual qualities but more of their shared bonds. All of those goofy pub scenes plus their shared past of course really do matter as you learn more about everyone. On the theme front, Trinity swaps out 勝利 for 英雄 for the most part. Kerberos does carry the message from Vendetta and is treated as correct by the narrative, but ultimately Ash comes to a slightly different conclusion. He doesn't fully reject either 闇 or 光, but rather comes to a kind of mediating middle ground. It's logical given how the series spends a ton of time beating into your head that either path, when taken to the extreme, leads to humanity's destruction. It's not quite as simple/straightforward as Vendetta was so for a while I wasn't sure exactly where they were going, but it all comes together at the end in the grand route and you have that moment where it all makes sense. The plot is more complicated in Trinity as well. It's kind of a given because of the different factions and I feel they used them well. All the routes are totally different from each other and the big villain or 英雄 (hah) focus is totally different from each one. My heroine preference is Rain but I actually liked Mistel's route the best out of the three. It had a really good world ending threat in it and a genuine sense of chaos too it. Rain's route had the world-ending thing in it too, but that was more just bad luck and circumstances. Kerberos isn't really an antagonist so the final clash just doesn't hit as hard. For the male character appreciators out there, Trinity's cast is really good. Gray is a top-tier bro and you feel bad for him since he has a one-side crush on Aya but then again it seems like he can hook up with Vanessa so maybe it'll all work out. Murasame ended up being at least like a 2x deeper character than I expected from his introduction. And of course, I always appreciate it when someone is as utterly autistic as Gilbert or Dainsleif (the latter fucking neutering himself so he wouldn't be distracted by sex). The elephant in the room that I haven't addressed yet is the grand route of course. Not having H is one thing, but not even committing to a heroine is an odd choice. Honestly with that scene of Ash rescuing Rain, it feels highly biased towards her anyway which is totally fine. She has the most main girl energy out of the trio, so you'd think you'd get an unambiguous confession near the end to seal the deal. But it ends up like an anime harem situation instead which is kind of a headscratcher to me. But that one oddity aside, it was simply put: kino. The ultimate boss being Helios is the coolest shit ever. Rain vs Helios is one of the best chuuni fights I've ever read. I knew the whole time that Helios was going to まだだ his way out of it but fuck I didn't expect him to literally erase causality through sheer autistic willpower. That was insane. In terms of pure raw action, Ash + gang vs Helios wasn't quite as good but thematically it's a very nice touch. Like his predecessor, Valzelide, Helios has the same weakness of being alone and doing everything without relying on someone else. Ash doesn't reject his heroism like how Zephyr did. Instead, he wins in the shounen-ish manner of relying on his friends and bonds and seeking help from others. You've seen that message a gazillion times before, but it's well done here and encapsulates the ultimate climax fittingly.Really awesome game. It always a bit bittersweet when you finish a bonafide light kamige. I'll probably save Ragnarok for sometime later.
Alright nothing happened in this VN but it was a pleasant read, got me teary in a small section. Time to search for the next one. Also does anyone knows if hibiki works still makes VNs? I loved suiren to shion and onee no yuuwaku but they havent released anything in almost 4 years

>>48056523This was so stupid but I love it
>>48056523I think the final fight was the first instance where talking it out was both the right move and the most kino. But to echo on your point about the final route not going with a heroine, it's just a straight up harem backed by three superpowers which is a bit silly but at the very least my favorite Rain gets all the attention and significance
>>48057716Helios is the main heroine
>>48056523Nice, it was cool to read your thoughts and see that you enjoyed it so much. Trinity is definitely a much more polished experience than Vendetta in almost every way. I was a little hurt that you didn't talk more about Aya, as she was definitely my favorite. I don't know if it's because I read her route first, but the whole reveal about Ash as Aya hugged him and the subsequent conclusion was just impressive and really had a huge emotional impact on me. It's all very tragic, but at the same time very gentle.

>>48061604I haven't read Unravel Trigger but I've read Sousaku Kanojo. The problem with Sousaku Kanojo is basically they kinda ran out gas at the end. I wonder what their next game will be like. My hopium is that they're gonna remake the Uso series.
>>48061740I don't see how that needs a remake, well though I would appreciate a version without the fucking DRM
>>48061763They could pretty much unified them into a single game with ladder structure with Setsuka being the obvious main girl. Also to remove the bizarre thing in the sequels where the events of the previous games sort of happened but without dating the heroine of the previous games.
October Revolution prequel
>>48061784well, |I suppose, though I don't really see a huge need to change the structure as it is now, I had some fun trying to figure out how many events were canon in the sequels. But I feel that a remake should do this gremlin some justice, that free scenario was just sad, she was robbed. Her potential scenario wouldn't even need a romantic plot, just make it longer than 20 fucking minutes
>>48061829A remake would implement her better in the overall story as well. I suppose she can be an optional tacked on heroine like Laviria is from Eustia.
>>48061829A lot of things in the plot could use some expansion. For example, the whole supernatural aspect of setting like magic and vampires. It bothers me that in Aki Uso they don’t even show other vampires and have them act behind the scenes to show how dangerous they are, and the only reason they don’t is probably because they don’t have the budget. Imagine in the remake at the end of Eris’ chapter Setsuka’s fears come true and Souichiro barely survives an encounter with the vampires pursuing Eris. That will make good impetus for Setsuka’s chapter to start with Setsuka finally making direct moves at Souichiro.Thinking back, Fuyu Uso is probably the only VN I read where the heroine 攻略 the protagonist and not the other way around lol.
>>48061988maybe I'm defending the cheap budget too much with this one, but I think keeping details to the setting to a minimum worked to the story's benefit. Not everything needs to be elaborated to death, the VNs focused on the things that mattered just enough in my book.So yeah I don't need to hear about vampire societies and the like, but Shizuku herself is an interesting character. And I feel that free game just wasted my time because I opened a software and nothing happened before my evening was over and I exhausted the software's contents.
>>48061803Does the game have any obvious sequel bait in it? like missing some huge important heroines?
>>48062076It could've been an interesting moe-plotge if it was a single full priced title. I guess I'm just too enamored by the potential. I agree though within the tight budget keeping the setting details is actually beneficial because it keeps it focused on the themes instead which is more important for the consistency of the series.
>>48062088there's a few people that should've had scenes, but everything character wise is wrapped up, it's just that the plot is a WWII ripoff including the East Germany and West Germany split so Cold War would be next if there's one
>>48062088Not really, but they did a survey a while back kinda hinting that they're making a FD.
>>48062088>Does the game have any obvious sequel bait in it? like missing some huge important heroines? No, iirc Kudo said he was working on a whole new title right after UT, so he wasn't planning a FD at first, but maybe UT's sucess made him reconsider his plan to do a FD, idk.He considered one more route but had to scrap it bc he didn't have the budget for a 4th route tho

>>48062088It wraps up fairly comprehensively, but there's room for a sequel or more in the same setting. And there's plenty of great girls with no routes.>>48062390I feel like we read very different VNs.
>>48062409very cute. i didnt get far in unravel trigger though so idk if it changes (i think i got into the chapter where you find out that the blue haired girl is a vampire?) but i just cant stand how he writes characters. it felt similar to when i played sousaku kanojo, it feels like the writer wants to have every scene make some 'point' or have a message.
>>48062423>it feels like the writer wants to have every scene make some 'point' or have a message.Isn't that generally considered good writing?
speaking of sequels, i love how there was no room for a sequel with jeweha but they forced one anywayit ended with them graduating and the sequel is taking place in their 2nd year
>>48062427i'm dropping the jeweha sequel if it's exactly as low budget as the original. i liked jeweha, but you could tell they had zero capital making it
>>48062425No.
>>48062425Having a message is one thing but literally every scene is just being a preachy asshat.
>>48062425unrelated to unravel trigger, lately i've been very disillusioned by VNs with morals or messages. especially if its something stupid like "the world is dark and sad :(....but also beautiful too!!!!!" very few writers can pull this off.
>>48062464You can just say sca-ji.We all know you mean sca-ji.
>>48062435yeah the lack off battle cgs was really bad, and yes i did hear that sound as soon as i saw your image this one was just dumb because they kept using it towards the as a normal attack cg so all of a sudden he'd go from wearing his uniform normally to this shit and alternating between it was just dumb and triggered my autism
>>48062435Kyokkou no marriage had a similar problem.
Just... One more day...
So, uh, late to the party, but it looks like they've changed the entire cast for the switch version of Hakkenden. Is this version now recommended over the original?
>>48062620It's the same cast with different aliases.
>>48062464This. We need more subtlety. The story of the characters come first.
>>48062335I asked that question but thanks to you I remembered that I made this note>it looks like they are making a new eroge thats not a sequel>https://x.com/ontama_go/status/1834520439743451361
>>48062629Ah, that makes sense. I suppose the additions aren't really worth the bother then?
>>48027699I played a visual novel at least a decade ago, but forgot the name. What was it called /jp/?Setting: A futuristic, experimental town where different countries (China, Russia, India, The USA, and more) have come together to test multi-governance in a controlled environment. The town is designed to be a political microcosm of international relations.Protagonist: You play as a Japanese student who has been trained to speak multiple languages and understand different cultures. Your character is sent to mediate between students from different countries, representing the younger generation of these nations.Characters: Each girl represents a key nation and has her own personality, motivations, and political agenda. They are all daughters of influential figures, such as politicians, military leaders, or business moguls, which adds political pressure to the relationships. They all speak multiple languages. China: A strategic, flat-chest, calculating girl with strong familial expectations of upholding national pride.Russia: A tough, no-nonsense girl with ties to military power. Age is at most 11.India: A philosophical and idealistic character, balancing modernity with tradition. Has a spicy pussy.USA: An outspoken, confident girl with strong values on freedom and democracy. Blond, Big Boobs, Cowboy hat.Other Countries: Additional students from European nations, South America, etc., round out the cast.Gameplay: The player needs to balance relationships with each girl while also managing the diplomatic relations between their countries. Decisions on personal interactions influence international outcomes, such as trade deals, treaties, or tensions between nations.Romance and Diplomacy: As you navigate romantic interests, you also need to think about the broader political implications. For instance, if you favor one girl too much, it might upset the balance between nations.Conflict: There is underlying political intrigue, such as one nation trying to undermine the others, or external forces threatening the experiment, which you, as the mediator, must uncover and handle.Themes: The game explores themes like international cooperation, cultural understanding, the impact of personal relationships on political decisions, and the challenges of navigating global power dynamics in a microcosmic setting.

>>48062680Sounds like https://vndb.org/v4
>>48062695Looks interesting, might give it a shot. Have you played it? Is it any good?

Is it worth pretending to learn japanese anymore? By the time I figure out how to pretend to learn chinese they will already be pumping out ln/vn/anime/manga faster than japan ever could
>>48063158Yeah, ngl thinking the same things. It's worthless, or "dame da yo" as I saw in a video of The Anime Man. He said gaijins shouldn't even learn it because machine translation and AI is getting pretty good.
>>48063158How do you even know that you "know" Japanese and aren't just remembering words from a dictionary?
>>48063158chinese is an utterly disgusting hideous language. They could never be successful at making media based on that alone.
>>48063172I don't. I'm just pretending. If I can convince my brain that I understand what I'm reading then that is good enough for me
>>48063175Everyone knows anime is just bad slop kek. Do you think it's some great art?
>>48063158AI is gonna be it, not the Chinese. Mangas and anime and all.

>>48063203Based. AI after the election is going to mog so hard, CIA will release the new Palantir AI that will help us make so much content. They're literally doing everything for our benefit.
