>No more concerts scheduled for the rest of the yearIn 2023 I said that there was no band I'd rather see than Zutomayo and no singer I'd rather see than Yuka. In 2024, I made both of these things come true. In truth, I would have really liked to go to an arena show, but it's not like Ariake Garden was exactly small (8,000 cap). In addition to seeing Yuka and ZTMY twice, this year I got to see Lamp, Fujii Kaze, Ado, MOTFD, Miku, and Kikuo. It's hard to pick a favorite, but Kikuo was surely my least favorite, and I still have some small regrets over not seeing Yoasobi (even given everything that's been discussed here, the show still looked FUN.) I have been getting emails about the ZTMY arena tour in spring of 2025, and I've humored the idea, but I think it's just too soon given my personal circumstances. I've only barely just recovered from the jetlag now. That said, right now I'm still thinking I would like to go back to Japan in 2025, but it would probably just be in the fall again. I have zero interest in living there, but sometimes I wonder just how many shows I would go to if I did; I'd guess in the dozens. Hopefully when I return next time, I can have some more good shows lined up. Looking forward to 2025 agenda I've already scooped up tickets for Kenshi Yonezu and Ichiko Aoba, and I'll be looking to purchase Ado tickets next week. I hope we can get some more good world tours on the calendar for next year.

God damn, this is the first time in awhile I've tried getting concert tickets that aren't general admission and it's terrifying. Seats rapidly disappearing as the tickets I add to my cart get sniped by others. I feel lucky to land the seats I did at a competitive venue like LA.
