They will eat any two-handed ungabunga character like crazy, to the point where the old 'Younger Cat Sister with two-handed Earth Hammer' build just makes her self-destruct against those enemies. If something is carrying a Polearm or any other weapon that allows for 'remote attacks' and also can Deflect/Parry Counter, they can do that to enemies two tiles away as well.There are counters to those. It's pretty much either Magic as mentioned - because Deflect/Parry only counters physical attacks, ranged weapons (but from a safe distance), or... use a shield. Specifically, a shield with the 'It forbids enemy retaliation' enchant on it. I think it can also show up on Arm slot armour as well, but more commonly on shields. If you want to ungabunga two-handed style, you'd have to go look for that specific enchant on Arm slot armour.
